Now let's finally get this RP started!))

The soft scratching of an ink dotted quill against aged parchment was the only thing carried in the gentle breeze that fluttered in between the bending blades of rich, emerald grass. A young female, the holder of the utensil, sat on a stony ledge jutting like a broken bone out of the Earth, just a little ways from the glistening blue lake a few meters or so away. Her long blond hair was tied up in a loose messy bun, her saphire blue eyes hooded with concentration as she focused on her writings before her, the ink seeping into the paper. The teen's lithe frame was hunched over as she wrote, blocking the burning sunlight from her vision as to not have her eyesight blinded or overwhelmed. The sun was known to be a little more blistering and dangerous during this time of year in Crescent Village...

Exhaling a light sigh, the girl did a quick flick of her wrist, signing her name at the bottom of her journal entry as she looked up finally, shutting her eyes in content. Endora loved this kind of day, this life in general. It didn't matter that she her village feared her for her unknown coming of and abilities that even she couldn't explain. She was herself and that was how it was meant to be. Just like how Endor figured it was just meant to be that nothing ever happened in her peaceful little village--despite how reluctant it was to accept her.

Rising to her feet, Endora stretched out her limbs (wincing as they cracked) and jotted happily to the lakeside shore of the flawless blue water. It was odd for a lake to be here of all places--scattered among the outskirts fields of Crescent Village. There was no water source that could possibly lead to the body of water formig what it was now.

"But I guess that's just the way it is." She breathed, clasping her hands behind her back.

((i hope this is what you're looking for.))

however, she was unaware of what was going on underneath her. Underground, Dylan was walking around trying to find his enemy in the dark. that way he won't blow his cover and letting the enemy know that he was evading the person's base.

'his base should be around here somewhere....now where is it?' Dylan thought to himself.

Dylan knew that the base was up a head, but he was unsure at how far up it was. 'brother...i know you're in here.' Dylan laughed quietly at the thought with a smile on his face. 'and i'm going to find you...so when i do be prepared.'

as he thought he got all excited as things came up in his mind. 'I know, what you know...i know what you must be thinking. How could i...? how could i be such a heartless person?' he thought as he had a feeling that he was getting closer to his destination. '...he's close...i could sense it. he won't get away from me. i had been so kind to him and let him escape after i had killed that innocent man a few months back.'He continued to think as he slowed his walk into a sneak. as he heard whispered talk.

"no, he was the one that was jealous of him..."one person said.

"He's right though.no one should be...." of course this person would be talking about Dylan's brother...who wouldn't.

'when he has the girl and all the other Royaties graveling at his feet...and i only have one.'Dylan then stopped. 'Crap...why did i have to bring that up?... now that'll never leave my mind.' he then quietly sighed. 'oh well...i'll be able to set my brother right soon, i hope.'

realizing that he was practically on top of the camp, Dylan found a high dark corner to rest upon...waiting....hoping to catch his brother in some action as he trains.

luckily, he does.'that's it...brother...keep on training. you'll be no better than me...we both know that. No matter how hard or how often we train, we won't be able to defeat the other.'

Dylan was a visual learner, so everything that he spot his brother doing was easy for him to learn just by watching his brother. 'one...two...swing...one...two...three...swing...turn and stab...why is he doing cakewalk things? i know he knows more sophiscated things than that.' time wore on, and he realized that people were going into the base; to signify that it was night time. 'perfect...now he'll be alone...with no one to bother him...'Dylan smiled again and this thought. as he watched his brother, he noticed that his brother was now doing more difficult moves. 'one...stab...headbutt...spin...move away...one...two...stab...twist arm for slice across the front...spin behind enemy...and side slice from the right.' to Dylan, what his brother was doing was like dancing...doing all these strange moves that actually worked. half way through his routine, his brother stopped and rested his weapon in its sheath. A girl then came out and they walked away leaving the practice field. Dylan smiled with statisfaction that he had completed yet another self mission.

he ran back to his camp and practiced what he saw his brother doing. by the time he was done, the lanterns were almost out of candlewax.

"As i said to you before...my dear brother... you and i will not be able to fall by the other's blade." Dylan said to himself as he went into the bathroom and took a shower. then he went to bed and laid there doing the hand motions of his weapon, which is something he does every night before he goes to sleep. "then hopefully we'll meet again soon for a friendly match." he said again to himself. 'then we'll see who she loves more...' Dylan smiled as he drifted into sleep.

the next next day, he got up and got dressed. thinking about visiting his brothers base again this evening to see anything new to learn. even though he would be able to learn it here at his camp, they don't let people like him just visually watch what they are doing. so since he had been based down here, he went over to his brother's base and watched in the shadows. then he would go out to his training with the knowledge already there. 'this will be easy now...' he said as he got onto the practice field. When everyone was out and lined up to start their training, a messanger ran up to the general and whispered something in his ear. the general in turn, whispered back then turned to face his troops.

"Alright men, it's looks like our training has been put on hold...sounds like we're going to move out and get some action. from what our resources had told me, our enemy is heading towards the underground passage of ember city of the fire village..."

'what!?...how dare he...how dare he try and take control of a village that is under my control. Oh...brother...Anniken, my brother...what is this that you are trying to do? you will not win if your intention is to convince that old fool of a king that i am wrong.' Dylan thought angrily as the general droned on about where they are going to go first. with no time to waste, Dylan marched with his fellow comrads to their destination which was unknown to him, becuase the general had said it when Dylan was lost in his thoughts.

((Wait, wait...I think I didn't explain what was to happen properly. That isn't the base of Anniken's operations or anything. He doesn't even have a group of people. He's more so just a loner with Sylvia (a little ball of light) there to guide him and keep him company. And you're not supposed to skip ahead to the next day or anything either. What's going on Underground is a battle between Anniken and Dylan and Anniken is losing. It's just a one-on-one battle.

And please, I was told you used proper grammar and spelling and punctuation so please use it and capitalize your 'I's. I'm sorry if this sounded harsh, I'm just in a horrid mood as I type this from something other than this and I was really hoping this would be started off already with all of us posting.))

Anniken fell down on the cold ground where he and Dylan, his strongest enemy. The two were once close. But that's the past. This is now. They hated each other. Anger and sorrow filled Anniken's heart. He was jealous of the past. Wished he could return to fighting along side his brother, and not against him. But he couldn't change that. While Anniken was zoning out, Dylan slashed him across the chest.

"Argh!"

Blood dripped from his bare body. Pain filled every part of his body. No emotions were felt besides anger and sorrow. Anniken now fought back. He slammed his body against Dylan, causing him to lose his balance. Anniken then slashed Dylan on his back. Blood trickled from him, but not much. The battle was just starting.

((Sorry for not posting--I was caught up o_o))

Dylan gve a small smirk as his brother fought vigilantly against his attacks, reflecting what he could and landing far less blows then what he was receiving. It had been many years since he had been in such an exhilarating fight like this. He often remembered how evenly matched the duo had once been so long ago in those dark times. Oh how the tides have changed.

"What wrong Annie, daydreaming about your precious Serenity?" Dylan drawled, twirling his sword lazily between his fingers with a nonchalant grin. "This is the very spot she met her demise to this same blade~" The dark haired teen chided, bringing his weapon to his lips tenderly, his matching black eyes narrowing in glory. "Just try to avenge her why don't you?" Dylan challenged before diving forward, weapon clashing with his dearly beloved brother's.

From the surface of the lake a small ripple drifted across the water, drawing Endora's dwindling interest. What on Earth could that have been? She began to question herself thoughtfully, kneeling down to place a nimble finger in the mini-waves crashing onto the lake aide shore with ease, swirling little circles I'm the crystal clear water.

After bearing the pain of hearing Dylan bring up Serenity, he gained much more strength.

He striked maliciously, no more sign of fear. Hearing Dylan cry out everytime that cold, rusted, steel weapon ripped his skin.

"That's the fighter I know."

Dylan grinned. He took a final blow from Anniken, and he too attacked, much more violent. Much more deadly. Much more evil. Anniken was losing again.

"Serenity.. I will avenge you. I promise.. I love you."

Anniken blocked one of his swings, and stabbed his weapon into Dylan's chest. To a normal person, they would have died. But Dylan was no normal person. He had some sort of extra power in him. This made him unbeatable... For now that is.

Dylan cried out from the ruthless stab to his chest, lollin his head back, smirk still evident on his face. Anniken knew better, he knew that Dylan wouldn't die from such a petty blow. Now after saving up the darkness and power within him for such a long period of time. His goal of becoming immortal was nearly complete.

As he glanced to the ceiling, hands clutching the blade thrust into his flesh, he saw the most peculiar sight. In fact, it almost made him double-take. A girl above the waters surface in which they were fighting over. Dylan knew that they were fighting in his and Anniken's last battle area and that Serenity's sacrifice had caused the lake to form later on in the years with no other explanation. What bewildered Dylan was that this unknowing girl, now standing and looking straight out with a kind smile on her face, was the spitting image of Serenity. He wide grinned stretched across his face as he looked back at Anniken, his head tilted to the side like a curious puppy.

"You know brother, there's a saying that History will always repeat itself," Dylan leaned his form forward, barely wincing as the blade slid further into his chest and out the other end of his body, whispering coldly in Anniken's ear. He had dealt with worse in the coming of days. "And I believe that if you'll look up, you'll find another sacrifice ready to be made." With that said, he vaulted himself backwards off the blade and up to the surface of the water, his energy level rising as his aura turned an ashy black and crimson.

~

Endora would be lying if she said she hadn't screamed when something shot through the water like a bullet and floated in the sky for a brief moment before heading in her direction. And the aftermath of the objects appearance, well, she screamed to as the lake erupted--it's water spraying the area like rain.

"Wh-What the hell?!" The stumbled backwards only to have the mysterious object land before her in a graceful bow. He wore a black cloak with same color trousers and t-shirt, boots and there were two sheaths resting on his hips. That were empty. He looked up at Endora with a wicked smile, dark eyes glinting even with his bangs splayed across his face.

"Hello miss." Endora was startled by the gentle tone to his voice as he stood up, head tilted to the left side now. She was unaware of what those little heD tilts really meant. Before she could utter a word he was behind her and cool metal was against her throat. Her sapphire blue eyes widened.

((I really like how you're playing as Anniken :D))

Thanks :)

Anniken looked above as Dylan has said. There above him, was Dylan. Half of his body above the "atmosphere" of the battlefield. The other half was seen.

"What?!"

Suddenly a scream echoed throughout Anniken's ears. He recinized it though. Anniken jumped, catching multiple cliff ledges, and jumping off each cliff, getting closer and closer to the entrance to the "hidden world." He soon came to, and he felt a strange sensation. But a split second after, it went away, along with any dry part of his body. It seemed he was soaked. He looked around. The land.. It was different. Not just by looks, but in the feel as well. Anniken turned, to see Dylan holding a girl, and a sword to her neck.

"Let her go Dylan. This is between you and me. Don't bring innocent people into this."

"What do you care Anniken. We are not of this world. What do you care if these people die?"

"Dylan. Let. Her. Go."

Dylan sneered, drawing a thin but non-life-threatening cut to Endora's flesh as she gave a small cry of protest. His smirked into the blond hair of the girl, blade dancing across her skin, glinting with malice in the sun.

"Life is a petty thing isn't it Annie~? It can be graced so beautifully but taken away in an instant." He cooed, glancing darkly up at Anniken in mild interest. "For instance, take this lovely girl. She's matured beautifully and I'm sure if you look at her closely you can see she may just be part of our world."

~

Endora listened with half of her attention span as she wiggled about, trying to get loose. The sticky red substance dripped from the small cut on her neck, down to her collarbone where it beaded at the indent. She didn't understand what these two males were saying. Part if their World? What World could they possibly be referring to?

"Please...Please just let me go!" She pleaded, a few tears beading in her eyes.

Sylvia tensed as she heard a scream echo throughout the forest. As strange as it was for a small spiritual orb to be, she was tense. There was something she sensed about this girl. Whether it be that she had noticed the battle between the two brothers. Or that she looked almost exactly like Serenity. Though, with Dylan holding that knife to her neck it didn't help but to make her feel even more uneasy.

"We may not be of this world. But, you should know better than to meddle with the innocent. Even YOU shouldn't sink that low." Sylvia said all of this with malice her voice. It only made her angrier as she saw the incision on her throat made by Dylan. Sylvia was clueless as to why this made her so violently angry, it just did.

Anniken heard a fourth voice, but saw nothing, due to Sylvia being a small orb of light. He started into the girls eyes, trying to see what Dylan saw. Then, it came to him.

"Serenity." Anniken said softly.

Only Dylan heard him, who nodded and laughed.

"Hand her over. Now!"

Anniken kicked Dylan in the chest, causing him to drop the girl. But Anniken quickly caught her. The fourth voice was soon reconized as Sylvia, who Anniken caught in a glimpse of an eye.

"Sylvia. Protect this girl."

But this all happened way too fast for Dylan to escape or get up. Anniken then jumped on Dylan, grabbing him by the throat.

"What the hell is your problem! Never touch her you skum." Anniken punched Dylan in the face, causing blood to drip from his face.

"Anniken. You're a little bitch. I'll be back."

With that, Dylan smirked and vanished.

"Coward."

Anniken quickly rushed to Sylvia and the mystery girl.

"Sorry for getting you involved Sylvia. But I had too save her."

Anniken then looked at the girl.

"If I may ask, who are you?"

A breeze then kicked in, and it was getting dark. The sun had slipped away so fast. Or maybe my "world's" time is different then this one.

"Hold that answer. We need to get somewhere safe."

Seeing that the girl was hurt, Anniken picked her up, and decided to carry her. Sylvia followed on the air, searching for a village of somesort nearby.

Everything had happened so fast that honestly, Endora had no idea what to think of herself, her predicament, and what had just ensued. Firstshe was peaceful an calm at the lake's edge and then she was suddenly taken captive and then rescued by two men who had taken out the lake. She had just wanted a normal day if relaxing and she got this.

"H-Hey! Put me down! Who are you? What's going on? Who was that guy?" So that basically screamed to Endora that she had every right to act up and cause a fit, struggling in the boy's noticeably gentle grasp. She was well aware of something else following along with them--a prestine ball of light to be exact--which was even more bewildering. Just what had she gotten herself into?

"Fine. Let Dylan come back to capture you. Your choice."

Anniken placed her down.

"Or you can continue. You were hurt. I was trying to help. But If you wish, walk beside me. Following me is the only way Dylan won't find you.

Sylvia came down to tell us she sees a small village not too far from here.

"Thanks Sylvia."

Anniken and Sylvia continued, allowing the girl to do as she wished. Anniken believed she would run up and follow him, but if she decided but too, Anniken would carry her once again.

"I understand. But, why in the world would you ask me to make sure she was safe? I do so happen to be not, but an orb." Sylvia said attempting to sound caring but, it only sounded sarcastic. She was perfectly fine with that, though. Sylvia sighed she guessed since this girl was being dragged along then they might as well answer her questions.

"This, my dear is Anniken. That other . . . fellow was his brother, Dylan. And what's going on? I'm not very sure about that myself." Sylvia contemplated over the question that she couldn't answer. Exactly what was going on? If Sylvia had shoulders she would have shrugged. They might as well go to th nearby village. After telling her that not even she knew what was happening was obviously not comforting. But, whether the girl followed or not was not exactly her choice. Knowing Anniken he'd just drag her along if he had to.

Endora frowned at the response, crossing her arms as she followed the msteriois ball of light and the explained to be Anniken. She didn't like this and she wasn't leaving until she got her answers of why that huge fight had occurred and what exactly were they fighting about. More importantly--why were they under the lake.

"Anniken huh..." Endora whispered softly, poking his shoulder playfully. "So tell me then what's the deal with you and Dylan?" The blond was greeted with silence and she growled under her breath. If there was one thing Endora could not tolerate, it was being ignored. "Find, fine. Don't answer me..." She look up at the glowing ball of light flowing beside them. "And who exactly are you?"

Anniken was grinning. He knew she would follow.

"Well before I answer you, I would like to ask something. What is your name and have you ever heard of the name Serenity?"

Anniken swallowed after saying her name. He missed her so much, and it hurt even more thinking about her.

Endora paused, thinking quickly to herself. Serenity? No, the name hadn't rung a bell within her. However, she was sure shefelt some sort of...of thrilling throughout her soul when she tried to remember anything related the name. It send a momentary ti gluing sensation all the way to her finger tips, bewildering her beyond belief.

"My name is Endora La Shay, and no...I'm sorry. I Haven't ward te name before just now." She admitted, still following the dirty blond teen albeit reluctantly.

"Endora, huh?" Sylvia whispered to herself. For some strange reason she was half-relieved that she hadn't heard of Serenity's name. It just made things less complicated. But, another half felt as though she should be worried. Sylvia didn't know why but it bothered her. Even though Endora said she didn't even know who it was, she couldn't help but to feel that it wasn't right. Whatever it was she might as well introduce herself, it was only fair.

"My name is Sylvia. Pleased to meet you, Endora La Shay." She said kindly.
