Kingdom hearts: The mask of fear

By: Jacob Pulido

Part 1- Training

Chapter 1: Birth

“Please don’t do this master?!? I’m not strong enough” a boy cried out surrounded by a dozen dark creatures.

“No boy,” a man with a deep growl voice said “it is because you are trying to hold it in. Let the dark impulses waken in the pit of your heart. Release them, here and now! Sharpen your fear into rage.”

The boy began to freak now that the creatures had multiplied. “You must,” the man continued “If you don’t let the storm within you run its course, it’ll wipe you from the face of the world. Make no mistake! Do it. Embrace the darkness. Produce for your master the χ-blade!”

The creatures attacked the boy, and still he refused to fight with his key shaped sword, and was then trampled by the many creatures that pounded him to the ground. The man slowly walked toward him in despair. He didn’t find his pupil have the single slither of bravery within him.

“Really? You would rather die than use the power? Useless puppet.” The man kicked the boy over onto his back. “If I must….I will extract the darkness from within you myself.” The man summoned his key like sword similar to the boys. He then aimed the blade at the boys’ chest and used some weird magical power to suck the darkness out of him, bringing him back to life in the process.

From the darkness removed from the boys’ heart I began to form. I uncurled from the dark impulses of the boys’ heart and stood before the man. “Empty creature from Ventus riven, to you, the name Vanitas shall be given.” I looked down at the boy and saw him breathing heavily. Then I returned my attention back to the man. “Yes, Master.” I said to him with a smirk smile.

Chapter 2: Learning

The man brought the boy and me to his little so called hangout area. The place seemed pretty duh and dark. Not a slither of light was found in the room. Aside from all the smells and soda cans all over the floor, it was pretty roomy and big enough to have a party with every being in the world.

The man turned to me carrying the boy, Ventus, like a baby. “Make yourself comfortable” the man said to me. “Where are you going” I asked him. “To drop this boy off with my friend Eraqus” he replied. “I’ll be back soon and explain things to you” he told me. I nodded. The man left without looking back, and I stood there, motionless, until he returned.

“I never truly introduced myself” the man said “My name is Xehanort, but you will refer to me as Master, understood” I nodded. “Yes master” I said to him.

Xehanort began to explain to me about Ventus and why he was so important. “I found him as an empty shackle,” he began “he had no heart or reason to be here in the first place, a puppet, something that somebody created. Then one day I carried him around world to world looking for an empty world perfect enough to place him down. When I almost lost hope I remembered my home island, it was always empty and like a prison surrounded by water. That was the perfect place to leave him. I placed him down and began to walk away when out of no where he summoned his Keyblade when still in a deep slumber. That’s when it hit me. A boy that had the power to use a Keyblade, oh what I would give to have a pupil with that kind of power could help me succeed in my plan.”

“But master?” I began “why did you take him to Eraqus if he was to be of use to you?” I asked him. Xehanort sighed. “Oh Vanitas, Ventus never chose to use the power of darkness. I couldn’t have a Keyblade wielder who holds power over light on my side. In fact…” Xehanort looked at me with a grin. “You hold half of what Ventus is. You’re his darkness. Surely you hold the same power?” I saw where he was getting at, then suddenly a dark shroud appeared on my hand and a Keyblade appeared right before our eyes.

“Ahh,” Xehanort smiled “I guess this plan may work after all” He stared at me with a devious smile and then back at my Keyblade. “What is your plan Master?” I asked him. He stood there and I couldn’t really tell what his facial expression meant. “To the training room” he commanded me.

More are on there way ill post them up as soon as i can. peace out.

Chapters 3 and 4 are being updated now. tell me wat u think.

Chapter 3: Secret plans

Apparently Xehanorts’ idea for a training room was a desert area known as the badlands. I recognize this place because this is where I was born. It was hot and humid here, like all deserts are, and this jumpsuit wasn’t helping me.

“Vanitas” Xehanort called to me. “Have you ever heard of the χ-blade?” he asked. I replied with a shake of my head. “What is it?” I asked. “It’s the most powerful and deadliest weapon in the whole world.” The most powerful weapon in the whole world hah? What kind of power would I possess if I wielded that thing? Xehanort continued. “χ, a most ancient letter. It’s pronounced “key” but some say “kye” however the meaning is all the same.” I stood there pretending I cared about what he just said. “And you, my pupil, you hold the power to make it” I was shocked. “ME?” I asked. “Yes,” Xehanort said “However, you cannot make it alone, you must forge with your other half to create it” he told me. “My other half? You mean Ventus!” He nodded.

Now began my training. I must train and become strong enough to defeat Ventus and forge the χ-blade. Let’s just hope that Eraqus is doing the same with Ventus because it wouldn’t be much of a fight if I summon my Keyblade and he just runs away. Xehanort summoned a dark creature before me and ordered me to attack. I did. Then he summoned two more. And I took them out as well. He continued until there were hundreds of them surrounding me. Unlike Ventus, I’m more powerful and fearless. I used the dark power I held within me and obliterated every creature that surrounded me. I could tell that Xehanort was impressed with me. I knew I had over qualified Ventus in any way possible. However, just when I thought I was done, Xehanort prepared me for one last test. He summoned a creature much larger than the others; it was probably about 100 feet tall, with three long pointy horns and humongous feet like the size of three elephants and a roar so loud and deadly that I might as well just have to change my suit.

I rushed toward the behemoth with my Keyblade in hand and began attacking its feet. But of course it was to powerful to die by hitting his feet so I had only one other choice. The head. I took a couple steps back hoping it would begin to run towards me with his horns out like a bull. It did. It ran me down and all I needed here was perfect timing. Once he was about 50 feet away from my position I jumped and swung around his leg and jumped on to his back. He immediately stopped running and tried throwing me off, but unfortunately for him, I held on. I made my way up to his head and began landing a few solid hits in his face. I can tell it did do some damage but not a whole lot. So then I closed my eyes and thought hard and somehow I was able to make a copy of me. I then threw my copy out towards the rock wall and tricked the behemoth into thinking it was me. He skidded his left front foot on the ground and charged toward the copy. Once we were about a few feet away from the wall, I summoned my copy back into me and jumped off the monsters back. The behemoth rammed straight into the wall and I knew that was the best time for me to finish him off. He stood there dazed from the impact and I took him out with an awesome finishing move.

With the behemoth down and me still alive, Xehanort was impressed. He walked toward me and told me to take a knee. I did. He summoned his Keyblade and placed it on each shoulder and crowned me “The masked boy”. “Rise my young master” he told me and I followed his orders. “You are now worthy enough to hear of my secret plans on forging the χ-blade and ruling the worlds. Are you in?” I thought about it for a second then nodded my head. “Yes master, I was born ready”

Chapter 4: Xehanorts plans

Xehanort brought me back to the hideout and sat me down to explain his oh so big plan. The main objective of this plan was to see what waited beyond the Keyblade War. So the plan was separated in three long but easily done objectives. 1. Find a new younger, stronger body for Xehanort to possess. 2. Forge the χ-blade and 3. Start a new Keyblade war.

These missions were easily said then done. However, in time we should wait and observe the three of Eraqus’ pupils. Their names were Terra, the tall strong dark fellow, Aqua, a kind young woman who powers over light and last but not least…my light…Ventus.

“Okay boy,” Xehanort began “here’s what you need to do. First I need you to watch Ventus when Eraqus holds the Mark of Mastery exam. See how he fights and find away to make him stronger. Then you need to draw him across every world away from Eraqus and distract Aqua in the process, you know keep her away from Ventus. I’ll take care of Terra. He’s perfect to serve as my new body.” As he finished his plans I started to think about what we could use to make Ventus stronger, lure Aqua away and make Terra accept the darkness. But what, what could we use to do that. Then Xehanort came up with a great idea. “I’ve got it! When I was training Ventus I felt a strong negative force within him. That negative force came from the darkness within him which means you hold that power.”

So I control the power of negativity? Interesting am I right? With the power I hold I can create little creatures to roam the worlds that I lead Ventus to. Those will serve as good bait into making him forge the χ-blade. So now Xehanorts plans were going to work out after all now that I know my purpose. The χ-blade and all the worlds will be ours real soon.

Part 2: The worlds

Chapter 5: The Mark of Mastery exam

It had been a while since I defeated the behemoth and learned my true purpose, but it was all worth the wait. Today was the day, the day that we would begin our mission to rule the worlds. Today marks the day of Terra and Aqua’s Mark of Mastery exam. Surely Ventus would want to watch them become Keyblade masters so it was the perfect time to watch him fight. Xehanort was invited by Eraqus to see them in action. But little did he know that we were up to no good.

I wasn’t supposed to be seen so Xehanort had me hide behind a pole to watch Ventus without being noticed. The exam began when a man in light clothes and long black hair with scars all over his face, I’m assuming that’s Eraqus, showed up. Terra and Aqua’s first test was to destroy some light orbs that floated around the arena. Xehanort, with the wave of his hand, shrouded them with darkness and made them go berserk. One flew towards Ven and Ven had taken it out with one swing of his Keyblade. “Ven,” Aqua cried out “go to your room, it’s too dangerous here.” Ven refused. “No way, I’ve been looking forward to this, seeing you two become masters. I’m not going to miss it now”. He was confident to fight along with his friends and protect them. That’s when I defenatly knew he was my light from seeing him show no selfishness or darkness what so ever.

The three friends finally destroyed the last of the reoccurring orbs. Thus it was time for their next trial. Terra and Aqua had to fight each other in combat. Once the two clashed blades I saw how Terra began to use darkness to defeat her but once he noticed he was using it he sucked it back in and right there I knew that Xehanort had found his perfect vessel. The fight was over and Terra had lost. Eraqus had failed him because he used the darkness to defeat Aqua. However, Aqua became master. Terra walked out of the arena alone just to think about the darkness within him. Xehanort walked towards me and asked me how I thought about Ventus. “He’s not going to cut it” I said “somebody’s got to break that loser in” “Not here” Xehanort said “I know that, he just needs a little incentive to leave home.”

I walked down the hallway towards Ven’s room as Xehanort walked the opposite way to confront Terra. I saw the boy lying there in his bed swinging a toy Keyblade around that Terra had given him. Suddenly a bell rang and Ventus took for the arena. I stopped him. “Who are you?” he asked. “You better hurry Ventus or you’ll never see Terra again.” I told him. “What are you talking about? He’s my friend! I can see him anytime I want! You trying to pick a fight or what?” he pulled his toy key on me. I rolled my eyes and walked away from him. “Oh grow up” I told him “is that what you call friendship? You’ll never know the truth unless you go out and look for it yourself. How could you possibly know anything if you’re stuck here looking at nothing but what’s in your tiny world.” I summoned a dark portal in front of me and walked through it to teleport back to base.

I assumed Xehanort had been tricking Terra into succumbing to the darkness because he hadn’t returned yet. He soon got back and walked up to me. “How did it go, pupil?” he asked “great master. Right as we speak he’s probably out looking for Terra.” I told him. “Good, everything’s going exactly the way we planned” he said. I nodded. “So what now?” I asked. “You must follow Ventus and keep summoning those creatures” he said. Apparently another friend of Eraqus, Master Yensid, calls these creatures the Unversed. A perfect name for them. “So Vanitas” Xehanort said “How soon will you be ready to depart?” I summoned my Keyblade and held it out in front of me. “Immediately” I said.

Chapter 6: The first world

I had finally gotten to my first world, Ventus hadn’t yet showed up. In fact none of them were there yet, which gave me the perfect time to release the Unversed out into the world. I appeared in a dark gloomy room were there stood a tall dark lady with a crown; I’m assuming she’s the queen of this place. I heard her talking to a mirror. “Mirror mirror on the wall, what shall I do to have the light fall?” she asked it. Then suddenly a face appeared in the lens and it replied, “Twas not worry about it at all, a boy in a mask shall appear and make it fall” my eyes widened. “A boy in a mask” I asked myself “Is he referring to me?” suddenly I heard the queen gasp, I guess she heard me. “Who goes there” she yelled. I walked out from around the corner. “My name is Vanitas.” I said “I’m here to take over the light” the queen smiled and looked over to the mirror and then back at me. “Ah yes,” she began “We may be of good use to you”

I stood there and listened to the queen as she spoke of the world being full of light and how she wanted to replace it all with darkness. I then knew what Xehanort had wanted me to do at the worlds. He needed me to fill them up with Unversed and have them swallow the light and hopefully make Ventus strong by fighting them off. So I left shortly after the queen stopped talking and began my quest to fill up the worlds with Unversed.

I walked outside of the castle and then I saw a girl run past me. The girl was wearing a yellow dress and had short, smooth black hair. She ran by towards a gleam of wildflowers with a miraculous singing voice. That right there told me that she was full of light and needed a little darkness in her. As I walked towards her from behind I heard a voice getting nearer and nearer to me. I then jumped into the nearest bush and poked my head out to see who it was. Suddenly a tall dark man appeared with spiky brown hair and a major dark attitude on his face. Yep. That was Terra. He walked up to the girl and asked “are you Snow White?” and she stood up and did a curtsy “Why yes I am” they talked back and forth about the light and its effects to the worlds. I then started to see that Terra was falling to close to the light and Xehanort would have not been proud. So I did what my main plans were and summoned some Unversed around Terra and Snow White. Snow White freaked out thinking that Terra ambushed her and she took off towards the woods. Terra then began to seek darkness to defeat my little creatures and I then knew that the plan was beginning to work out after all.

I wandered off into the woods after Terra ran towards the secret room. I saw Snow White sobbing by these trees. She seemed really scared from those Unversed. Well, she’ll get over it. I began to walk through my portal when I heard a familiar voice appear next to Snow White. I turned around and saw Ventus cheering her up and telling her that she was only seeing things. Well I ought to tell him that he is wrong. I swung my Keyblade at the trees so that the next Unversed that I had created transformed into the trees themselves. I ordered them to attack them and I then walked away and let Ventus handle it himself. The Unversed wouldn’t let me down as long as if I controlled them they would do just fine without me there.

finished 7 and 8 here ya go

Chapter 7: World two

I flew through the lanes between, forbidden passages between worlds, to get to my next destination. When I was flying through I noticed Ventus on his sky stick in his armor traveling to his next world. He departed on a world where there lied a bright castle. However, his luck was lost when he crashed into a nearby house and got trapped in a mouse trap. I began to see that he had shrunk; I guess it’s the magic of the world that affected him. I, for one, didn’t shrink at all; I just ended up on the outside of the house with no harm done to me.

I heard Ven scream inside the house so I decided to climb the side of the house and look through the window to see what was going on. I noticed a tall maid lady find Ven and rescued him from the mouse trap. She later took him into another room and then was my chance to jump in the house. Once I was in the house I began to plant Unversed into the room hoping that they’d be too big for Ven to fight. However, this dumb world shrunk the Unversed as well. So I decided to make even more powerful versions of the Unversed such as creatures that control power over fire and others that are masters of defense. I later left the house to leave Ventus to his fighting.

I wandered through the woods until I came to a clearing. In the middle of the clearing there was a fountain. It looked royal. So I must’ve been getting close to the castle. I walked further into the woods until I came to a large gate. There on the gate lied a big lock. My Keyblade appeared randomly by itself and shot a large dark light between it and the lock. The gate opened and I walked through it into the courtyard of the castle.

I began to fill the courtyard up with Unversed as I walked up to the castle doors. I kicked open the doors and began to run down the hallway leading to the foyer. I ran up a few staircases until I reached the ballroom. It looked a little festive and there were people standing around, men in tuxedos and women in gowns. I believe there was a ball going on there. I looked over at the orchestra and summoned some Unversed by them to hopefully possess them. A man who was the head of the royal guards had spotted me and I ran away before he was able to recognize me. I ran out to the courtyard where I began to see a light coming from the house out in the distance. I’m guessing Ventus had succeeded in defeating the Unversed I laid down for him.

I ran through the woods when I saw that lady that had rescued Ven crying by the fountain. I hid behind a tree as I saw Terra walk up to her. He told her to be strong and the light would be able to get her through the difficult tragedies. I couldn’t stand to see Terra falling so close to the light like that, so I summoned a few Unversed to take over and ran off deeper into the woods before I became noticed by all the citizens.

I opened a portal in front of me and jumped through it, teleporting me back into the lanes between. I had to catch up with Ventus before he got to the next world.

Chapter 8: World three

I began to think. How can I strengthen all three of these guys if I travel one world at a time? I was going to have to find a way to duplicate myself and have one of me in every world. But I couldn’t do that I would just need to stop by a world, drop tons of Unversed and leave. That simple. So why was I staying in the worlds. Was I interested in the things there? No, I can’t be. I’ve no positive feelings at all. I just need to go there and make Unversed then leave.

I got to the next world. Another castle? Jeez, these worlds have a bunch of different castles filled with light. I walked through it and planted a few Unversed there. I wandered outside and spotted a tall lady in a dark menacing robe and horns. She seemed like a being of darkness, why else would she be so blunt about the light around the castle. “Oh,” she said “And who are you?” she asked me “Vanitas,” I answered “controller over darkness” I said “Ah you may be of good use for my plans” she proclaimed. I shook my head. “Sorry lady but I work for no one but Xehanort.” I walked away leaving Unversed behind me as I left.

I walked past the river and over the hills until I came to another castle. But, unlike all the other castles I’ve been to, this one was dark and scary, something I find fascinating. I decided to take a look inside and there were these guards that were guarding the entrance. I figured I didn’t want to be a burden so instead of acting innocent, I pulled some Unversed on them and they took them out. I raided the castle looking for a perfect vessel to possess my major Unversed upon. Thus, all I found very menacing about the castle was a sew wheel with a needle sticking out of it. It seemed stupid at first to have my Unversed take over that little doohickey but then I thought it was perfect enough to serve as a perfect design.

I had created a big version of that sewing wheel and had an Unversed take over it. I then commanded it to take over that castle of light on the other side of the river. It began to walk towards the exit, crushing all the guards and busting through the walls. Nothing was going to stop that thing.

I started to hear a fuzzy voice coming from inside my head. It sounded like Master Xehanort was transmitting a message from another world into me. “Vanitas, meet me at the badlands,” he said “We need to go over the rest of the plan” I nodded. “Ok Master, I’m on my way” I said and I created a portal in front of me and jumped through it.

I flew through the lanes between trying to find the badlands. I spotted it quickly and began my deportation. I landed hard on the desert floor causing a major crack in the ground. Xehanort was standing there greeting me. “You’ve done good my pupil.” He said. “Thanks Master.” I thanked him with a bow as well. “However,” he began “Terra has been struggling between light and darkness and he’s falling close to the darkness as we planned. But Ventus on the other hand isn’t strong enough to fight you at the Keyblade graveyard, so I need you to find him and fight him. You know to bulk him up a bit.” He commanded. “Yes Master.” I said as I ran out to find him.

I flew around looking for Ventus. He seemed to have no where else to go after he left his third world when I found him. So, I decided to fly past him and lead him to the badlands. Ven was surprised to see me. “Him again?” he yelled. I nodded and zoomed off towards the badlands.

heres chapter 9...my second longest one so far.

Chapter 9: Ventus

I zoomed to the ground of the badlands and awaited Ven’s arrival. He jumped off his sky stick and took off his armor. “Alright,” he began “What did you mean about Terra being a different person?” he yelled out. I smiled and did an evil laugh as I walked closer to him. “Exactly as I said, idiot, the Terra you know will be gone forever!” I said, Ven gasped. “That’s the stupidest thing I ever heard!” he yelled. “Stupid or true?” I asked. I summoned my Keyblade and prepared for a fight. “A Keyblade?” Ven asked. His mood immediately changed and he soon summoned his Keyblade as well. “Good,” I said “Let’s see what you’re made of”

He had the first attack, I blocked it with my Keyblade then he rolled off away from me. I shot a few fire balls at him, but he blocked them. I went for another attack and we clashed blades together. We stared into each others minds trying to read our thoughts. We split apart and I went for another fireball attack, except this time I distracted him by forging a copy of myself and he got hit with the fireballs. He fell to the ground and couldn’t get up. “Is that really all you got?” I asked “Man you are worthless. I’d be going against my Masters orders but so what, as far as I’m concerned, your job here is done” I raised my Keyblade and created a dark ball around it. I powered it up until it was the most powerful spell ever. I shot it at him and it caused an explosion like no other. I then heard a voice come from behind me. “Don’t worry your safe” the voice said. I turned around and saw a 4ft tall mouse in a battle suit have Ventus well looked after. He summoned his Keyblade and used a healing spell on Ven. He turned around at me and raised his blade on me. “Tell me where you got that?” he yelled out “Keyblades are not something you use just to bully people, here I’ll teach you a lesson” he prepared to fight me. Then Ven got up. “We both will” he said. They looked at each other and began to attack me. I jumped out of the way and hit Ven with a hard attack on his back. The mouse jumped up and knocked me down with his Keyblade. I recovered myself quickly to hit the mouse in his face, knocking him to the ground. He then raised his Keyblade and summoned Ven over to him. “Let’s team up” he yelled and him and Ven created a large light ball in the air that caused a lot of damage on me.

I laid there in defeat. Ven walked over to me to see if I was dead. But he was wrong. I got up and stared over at the two. “Humph, you win” I said “Consider yourself on probation” I told him. Then I backed up slowly into my portal. The portal brought me back to Xehanorts hideout where the Master was already waiting for me. “Good job, Vanitas” he congratulated me. “Because of your strength, Ventus has gotten stronger.” He said. “Thank you Master” I said “But, now what about his friend, Aqua, isn’t she catching up to Terra?” I asked “Yes, she is, we can’t let that happen. Vanitas I need you to keep Aqua from succeeding in Eraqus’ commands” he said. “So, I must kill her, is what you’re saying?” I asked. He nodded. “Do what you must from keeping those three from going home” I bowed. “Yes, Master”

I looked at the world map located in the hideout to find out where the three were heading next. The next world was called radiant garden, the city of light. “Well, I guess that city needs a little darkness now doesn’t it” I thought. I grabbed a snack and was on my way to radiant garden to where this plan could come to close. Xehanort decided to go with me as well because he had hired a palace guard from that world to trick Terra into using the darkness. My objective is to find Aqua and kill her.

Chapter 10: Radiant Garden

I finally arrived at Radiant Garden. Yuck, this place hasn’t the sliver of darkness anywhere. I guess I can change that can’t I. I began to throw down a few Unversed down in the city area, and as I was doing this Ven finally showed up. I decided to ignore him for now because my objective was to hunt down Aqua. I made my way up towards the palace gates using the millions of stairs to get there. Once I finally made it to the top I spotted a little girl with red hair and looked as if she was four years old. I sensed light within this girl. Is she the main reason why this city is full of light? I couldn’t let that happen, this place needed darkness on their side. I then commanded my Unversed to attack her. She stopped picking flowers and began to run away from the creatures. She screams at the top of her lungs when all of a sudden Aqua showed up and saved her. She began to defend the little girl but couldn’t fight and protect at the same time. Suddenly a light shone down to the ground and that mouse had appeared to their rescue. “Hurry,” he said “You got to get that girl to someplace that’s safe” he commanded. Aqua ran the little girl over towards the safer part of the palace gateway and rejoined the mouse to take out the Unversed.

They had defeated every enemy and I just decided to leave Aqua be and create an even bigger Unversed. This one I created was about 200 feet tall and was in robot form. It had two arms, two legs and one body with a head attached to it. I looked over and saw that Terra had shown up to. I sensed the darkness roamed strong within him. Now if only Aqua knew what he had become then he’s bound to avoid Ven and her. So I split my Unversed into three separate pieces, the arms combined and formed a mini chopper and I commanded those to lead Aqua to the field. The two legs formed a whole lower torso shape, and Ven had spotted the head and the body in a tank kind of shape. I saw there was an aqueduct just behind the palace that would lead them to an open spaced reactor. Perfect for a little rumble. I finally saw Terra follow the Unversed to the reactor, followed by Aqua then Ven. Aqua and Terra seemed surprised to see Ven out and about. But, the happy reunion was fast when they saw each of the giant Unversed pieces morph together and created one big Unversed.

I commanded my new creature to attack them and not to go too easy on them. I then left them to fend for themselves and ran back to find Master Xehanort. When I got to the outer gardens area just outside the city I found Xehanort talking to a palace guard. I called out to him. “Master Xehanort” he turned around. “Ah Vanitas, how are things with taking out Aqua?” he asked “I created a little something to keep all three of them busy for a while” suddenly a light appeared from behind me and I heard my Unversed cry out and blow up. “On the other hand,” I said “I still got a few tricks up my sleeve” I told him. “Well then go” he commanded me “Take them out we got to get into position for Terra and you need to take out Aqua” I nodded and ran back to the city.

I made my way back to the center of the town and spotted a young boy in a lab coat with silver hair that covered up his right eye. I then saw Ven running towards here to so I decided to plant a few Unversed to attack the boy and distract Ven before he found Terra. I walked around searching for Aqua, surely she couldn’t be far. I wandered up towards the shopping area and that’s when I found her. But she was already on her way towards where Ven was. I had to follow her and make sure she doesn’t run into him anymore. By the time she got there Ven was gone, I walked in front of her and she couldn’t believe her eyes.

“A mask?” she asked “You’re the boy that Ventus mentioned!” I smiled. “Ah, yes, Ventus.” I began. “Tell me something? Has he learned to put up a decent fight yet?” I asked her. “W-what do you mean?” she asked. I raised my voice. “I’ll be asking the questions, and why should I, after all between the two of us I’m the only one who will walk away from here alive” I summoned my Keyblade and stood there ready to fight. Aqua gave me the evil look. “Guess again!” she yelled and our glorious fight began.

She came at me from the left so I moved to the right with a few attacks in the back then she swung her Keyblade and struck my chest with a very powerful blow. I jumped into the air and came down with a few aerial attacks, which she failed in blocking. I did a few somersaults away from her blizzard spell and countered with a strong dark slash. She knocked me back a few feet and I recovered back to my feet. I created a dark portal below me and jumped in it. I then teleported myself to beneath her and struck up giving damage from the feet and up. I went for a back attack and she blocked using a fire shield which gave me multiple damage. I then went for a powerful leaping attack on her when she was caught of guard and I struck through her, or so I thought. She had created a decoy of herself then I turned around to find her and she struck me hard in the face knocking me down to the ground.

I laid there pretending to be dead. Aqua was breathing heavily as she walked up towards me. “Who are you?” she asked. She reached for my mask trying to pry it off but I stopped her with an evil laugh. “Mwahahaha” she gasped and jumped back. I stood up and put down my Keyblade. “Not bad.” I said “Not bad at all, I’ll keep you around.” She gestured to me to beat it. “Congratulations. Never hurts to have a backup” I said as I opened a portal and walked through it teleporting me back home.

I returned home safely and sat on the couch until Xehanort returned. I may have grabbed a few sodas and chips and clean out the Masters cupboards but it was worth it. Xehanort finally showed up with that palace guard all bundled up in bandages. I take it he lost. “Hey Master,” I greeted “I had a little strength test with Aqua and let me tell you she’s pretty good” I kept congratulating myself. “Did you dispose of her” he asked “Well, uh, no but I promise you I will kill her soon. I won’t let her ruin out plans I promise!” Xehanort looked at me. Then he changed the subject and introduced me to the palace guard. “This is Braig; he’s very fatal to our plan. We can use him as a good distraction on Ventus and Aqua since you decided not to kill her at all. I dropped my head in disappointment. “Don’t you worry Master,” I began “She will be dead before we forge the χ-blade.” I promised. “She better be or we’ll have to go with the new guy to killing Aqua, understood.” I nodded and bowed to him.

I began to go to my next world. A place where the three friends would go to next. A place where heroes from all over the galaxy come to fight. Olympus Coliseum. Very brutal places were heroes become true heroes. That would be perfect to create an ultimate Unversed to actually kill Aqua and maybe tire out Terra and Ventus. This world was my next stop. I couldn’t screw this one up. For Master Xehanort.

Part 3: Missions

Chapter 11: Olympus Coliseum

I finally got to Olympus Coliseum, and well, I really don’t see what the big deal was. This place looked all dull and there really wasn’t anything fight related here. I walked around the outside of the lobby doors and saw several signs of special events such as most strongest and most valuable fighters. I turned around and noticed a tall dark figure with flaming hair and dark blue skin. He seemed like the dark one of this world. I summoned some Unversed to attack and see how he reacts to the creatures. He turned around and with a snap of his fingers the Unversed were gone. I gasped. “Anymore things you’d like to do to Hades the God of the Underworld!” he asked me. I gasped again. A God? I bowed to him. “My apologizes” I said. He smiled. “So,” he began “You can create these creatures?” he asked. I nodded. “Hmm then I can use your help with something.” He said. “What is it?” I asked him. “There’s this kid named Hercules and well he gets on my nerves, he’s so full of light and power and he’s just INFURIATING!!!!” I think this loon is getting a little out of control. “Anyways where was I” he continued “Oh yeah, I need you to summon those creatures to take him out and kill him once and for all before he gets to strong and brave to overthrow me” I looked around and decided that he was dark enough to not care about anyone here so I’ll do what he says.

I walked into the lobby of the coliseum and saw a door that said arena at the top of the doorway. I assumed Hercules was through here. I walked into the coliseum and saw a boy training on the arena ground and a goat looking thing motivating the boy by yelling. I figured that little stick figure looking kid was this all powerful Hercules. That’s the God of the Underworlds most frightful nightmare? Jeez, he’s not as powerful and dark as I thought anymore. So, I did what I would normally do, I summoned some Unversed to attack them. He turned toward where the creatures were coming to get him and he ran away out of the arena. That was easy; the Unversed will take care of him soon. Or so I thought. Ventus showed up and defended the boy from the creatures. You have got to be kidding me, the second I’m doing good one of the three shows up and ruin my plans.

Ventus fought along side Hercules and took out all the Unversed. I groaned. How can this kid be everywhere? I walked out of the coliseum to return back to base, when Ventus began training with the boy. I then saw that this was the perfect time to end this charade. While they were training for the tournament that that goat is holding I can have my Unversed raid the town. That’ll stop them for good. I ran to the town and began planting Unversed until the entire city was covered in Unversed. There was no hope for them now.

Hades showed up at a bad time. Right as I was going to leave this world, he showed up. “Kid,” he said “Come here.” He walked toward me and I turned toward him as well. “I can really use you to overthrow the Gods up on Olympus. Are you in?” he held his hand out to me. I shook my head. “Sorry, but I’m on a mission right now with my Master. But, after my missions over I will come back and help you.” I told him. “I’ll hold you to it” he said. I nodded. “Don’t worry the Unversed should be enough for the boys to handle you’ll have your way in a second” he grinned. I turned back around at my portal and jumped through on my way to the next world.

Chapter 12: Deep space

I flew through the Lane between dodging asteroids. I started to notice that the scenery was changing. Had I entered a new world? I began to peek off in the distance and saw a huge round ship that soared by. I began to plant Unversed sown on the outer part of the ship. Then I threw some out to fly around the ship and have them attack any of the three keybladers when they come to land. My mission with this world was done. At least I thought it was until the patrol of the ship scattered out in separate ships yelling “INTRUDER ALERT, INTRUDER ALERT”.

I stopped were I was and began to face them as they were drawing nearer to me. I drew my Keyblade and readied myself for a fight. As the ships drew closer I began to cast a few dark spells out on the closer ships. I knocked out their engines and they plummeted towards, well, space. More and more came as I started getting tired. I began to close my eyes in exhaustion and they flew up next to me and took me aboard their big ship.

I woke up in a cell that I assumed was inside the big ship. It was in an awful condition, as if someone or something had thrashed it before I was sent in. I banged on the glass that was keeping me locked in the cell screaming for someone to explain what was going on. Suddenly, an elevator rose up at my level and a large alien looking creature with a shock pistol in his hand walked out of it. “I demand to be released” I commanded the alien “Shut up” the alien said “The grand council women has a few things to say to you” he said. I gave him the face of death threaten him that if he doesn’t let me go I was going to go all kamikaze on him. “Wait here I’ll go get her” he said as he pulled the elevator lever and began to go down to the floor which was about 1000 feet from my cell. I gulped, wondering how I was going to get out of here. I summoned my Keyblade and began to land a few solid hits on the glass. After a couple of whacks I broke the glass and jumped out of the cell, falling towards the ground.

I started to see how close I was getting to the ground and began my safe landing. I did a few flips in the air and pointed my Keyblade at the ground. When I reached the bottom, my Keyblade pierced through the ground causing many windows to shatter from the sound of the impact. I then started to walk towards the doorway when I saw some more cops walk by carrying Terra. He was asleep so I guess they knocked him out as well. They brought him up to a cell that was near mine and threw him in there.

I exited through the prison doors and began my escape. I heard sirens and alarms going off and a voice over an intercom saying “A prisoner has escaped from the cell bay. Close all doors and secure the perimeter, do not let him escape” I knew that was a sign that I have to leave now or I was going to be locked in there for a while. I broke the glass to the ship and stood there as the wind began to pull me out of the ship. I turned around and saw the cops point their guns at me. “Freeze!” they yelled “There’s no where to run besides toward your death” I smiled and jumped out the window leaving nothing but their confused faces looking at each other.

I flew through the space again but only this time I couldn’t control my flight. I was falling towards my death with nothing to save me. All of a sudden a light appeared in front of me and then there was a flash and I appeared in the hideout. “How did I get here?” I asked myself. Suddenly, Xehanort walked up to me. “Oh boy,” he began “You let your feelings get in the way” he said. I got up from the ground. “What do you mean?” I asked him “I wasn’t feeling anything!” “Why yes you were boyo” he said “You nearly opened your heart to light when you were falling, if it wasn’t for me you would’ve lost yourself to the light” I sighed. “Sorry, Master” I apologized. The master looked at me then turned around and changed the subject. “You know,” he began “There is still one more world you must go to in order for you to succeed this mission” My eyes widened. “What is it?” I asked. He pointed at a map showing a world with mountains and a rainbow and pirates and Indians. “Neverland”

here's everything up to the final battle. enjoy.

Chapter 13: Neverland

When I landed on Neverland I saw a bright light, somewhat of a shooting star. However, when it landed it still was glowing. I followed to where it had landed and saw that mouse thing again. I opened a portal in front of him; he stood there gasping wondering where it came from. I walked up behind him and he felt my presence. He turned around and saw me glaring down at him. “Move it!” I commanded and pushed him into the portal.

After I’d sent that mouse to Xehanort I saw another shooting star. I looked closer at it and it turned out it was Ventus. I knew I had to quickly set up Unversed here on this world before…. I paused from the sight of Terra. He was walking toward a summit of the mountain in front of me. I summoned some Unversed to attack Terra and I ran off toward Ventus. I spotted Ventus in a clearing in the woods talking to three kids; one of them could fly. I sought to destroy Ventus right there as he was distracted but sadly my plans were foiled when a cannonball slammed not two feet in front of me.

I looked out into the distance and spotted a pirate ship. They were shooting at me!! I ran off deeper into the woods trying to dodge the rest of the shots. I soon exited the woods and appeared on some rock structure. I looked closer towards the water and saw Terra rowing a boat towards a skull shaped rock. I smiled and created a portal to teleport me to the rock where he was heading. I beat him there and I climbed the rocks so he would be at the bottom and me on the top out of sight. Luckily for me there were a few cliffs inside the rock that I could stand on. Terra was talking to some pirates with a treasure chest by their side. Soon the pirates left leaving Terra to defend the chest. This was boring me and I was ready to leave and go stalk Ven again but that’s when that flying boy showed up and Terra challenged him to a duel. Now this I couldn’t miss.

As Terra was fighting that boy the other two kids were making off with the chest. They tripped revealing all the contents of the chest. Terra looked disappointed about something but I didn’t know what. Soon, he left, leaving the other kids to fend for themselves. I jumped down off the cliff and landed in front of them. “Why hello” I greeted the boys. They flipped out from my arrival. “Who are you?” one asked. I smiled and drew my Keyblade. “I’m your worst nightmare.” They scream for help. That was a clue to beat it since I heard Terra coming back. I summoned thousands of floating Unversed to keep Terra busy for awhile.

I began to leave the rock and head back to check on Ventus. I saw him fighting the pirate that was talking to Terra earlier. He knocked him into the water and a crocodile began chasing after the defeated pirate. Ventus was soon reunited with those three boys again but this time they had the chest. They began throwing junk in there and soon Ven put his wooden Keyblade that Terra gave him in there. He grabbed the starshard that the mouse had earlier and then there was a light and he was gone.

I was ready to leave when I heard a familiar voice in the distance. Aqua. About time she showed up. I began to follow her and summoning Unversed here and there hoping they would be to powerful for her. I was ready to go down there and challenge Aqua for the last time but she ran into those boys. She paired up with them for an exhibition and I was left with no choice but to come up with a plan to split her from the boys. I summoned many more Unversed at the Indian camp area hoping to lure her closer to my location. However, she was long gone on the other side of the island.

I began to walk onto the summit of the mountain where I saw Aqua finally go back to where I was just at. She was digging through the chest along with the three boys and she noticed Ven’s wooden Keyblade. I had the perfect idea, I saw her depart from the boys onward to the Indian camp. I jumped down and the boys freaked out again. “That’s him, Pan, that’s the guy that attacked us before” the two little ones yelled. Pan stepped up to me with a confused look on his face. “Are you a friend of Aqua’s?” he asked “Because you’re not from here” I pushed him to the side. “I don’t have time for this” I told them. I walked up to the chest and grabbed the wooden toy.

Aqua was about to leave the Indian camp until she ran into me. “So,” I began “Having a good time hanging out with the kiddies?” I asked her. She gasped when she saw me holding Ven’s toy. “Where’d you get that?” she asked. “I think this kids outgrown such a childish toy” I said. “If you ask my opinion” I grabbed the sword with both hands and snapped it in half. Aqua gasped in despair. “Just like how I’ve outgrown my need for you” I drew my Keyblade and challenged Aqua for her final duel. She got angry quickly and yelled at me. “You freak!!” she then drew her Keyblade and readied herself for a fight.

She attacked my left so I jumped to the opposite side and swung at her back. She flipped away from that attack and shot a fireball at me. I blocked it and repaid the favor with a few impulses that separated from each other and hit her from different angles. She rolled away after that and began to attack me from behind. I counterattacked and hit her in the face. She began to shoot several spells at me and I was only capable of blocking a few. I ran at her with a few aerial shots, I shot more lightning down at her but she blocked with a magical shield. I came down with a strong stab to the ground, piercing through Aqua’s defenses. She took a knee and nearly gave up, I began to walk toward her to finish her off but she got back up with a fire attack and rapidly hit me with a flaming Keyblade. I fell to the ground defeated again, but at least this time she used up all of her power to finish me off.

She fainted to the ground and I began to struggle standing up. I looked down at her as she lied there falling asleep. I heard the boys screaming for Aqua and that was my clue to ditch this place. I opened a portal and reported back to Xehanort.

Chapter 14: The final mission

I returned to Xehanort and he seemed depressed. “What’s wrong Master?” I asked him. “Oh nothing boy,” he began “It’s just that I have lured Ventus back to his home world where he will experience his Masters bitter fate” I gasped. “You mean,” I began “Master Eraqus is going to die?” I asked. “Correct.” He answered. I smiled thinking how Ven would turn out knowing that his Master would have passed away. Would he actually give up and forge the χ-blade? Who knows?

“Vanitas,” Xehanort said “I need you to visit my home world, Destiny Islands, and persuade him to come to the Keyblade Graveyard” he commanded. “Anyways fine” he said “Just get him here ready to forge the χ-blade” I bowed to him “Yes sir, I promise I won’t let you down this time.” I told him “Good,” Xehanort said “We’re doomed” I heard him mumble. I began to depart from this world, preparing for what would be my final mission. I knew I couldn’t let Xehanort down, not since we’ve come this close to succeeding.

I began to fly through the Lanes between when I noticed Ventus just floating there in front of his home world. He woke up and began his decent onto his home. I took off further through the Lanes between until I came sight of Xehanorts home world. Destiny Islands. I can see just from the look of it why Xehanort wanted to leave that place. It’s dull and boring and surrounded by all that water with only that much space the island. Talk about claustrophobia. I began to land on the islands where Ventus was sure to show up soon. When I landed on the islands I saw two little boys rowing from the island I was on to the much bigger one across the small bay. I walked around everywhere waiting for Ventus and getting to know how it felt like for the Master. I jumped onto a small shed that was near the edge of the island and it led to a bridge to a rock formation with a few trees on them; one of the trees had star shaped fruit on it. As I walked across the bridge, he finally appeared.

Ventus fell out of a portal that was formed at his home world, and fell flat on his back on the sand. He got up quickly and began to take off to find Terra again. I had to think of something fast to stall him. “Going somewhere?” I asked him. Ventus looked around for me for a while and then noticed me up on the bridge. “I’m through with you!!” he yelled as he began to walk away again. “Well I’m just getting started with you” I said back at him “You’re strong enough now to fulfill your purpose, so why run, join with me right here and now and create the χ-blade” I told him. “No” he said “Xehanort said the only way the χ-blade can be forged is if you and me fight, well guess what, I’m not fighting” he proclaimed. I dimmed my smiled. “You used to be to broken to talk back” I said to him. Suddenly Ventus fell to the ground having some memories pour into his head. “Fine, I’ll give you a reason to fight” I said. He looked up at me “What” he asked. “Come and find me” I said “at the one and only place to spawn the χ-blade, The Keyblade Graveyard.” He gasped “There you will see me choke the life out of Terra and Aqua. Then we’ll see how long you play the pacifist” I opened a portal and left Ventus on the islands to think about what I said.

I returned to the badlands, where Master Xehanort was waiting for me. “You ready boy?” he asked me. I nodded. “Good, then let’s head out to the Keyblade Graveyard and prepare for the fight of our lives” he said. “Yes Master, I’ve been waiting for this moment to come” I said. Xehanort smiled and commanded me to follow him to the Graveyard. I knew I was about to face the biggest challenge of my life and that there was no turning back, but it would be all worth it when I’m back but with more power than ever.

Part 4: The final battle

Chapter 15: The Keyblade Graveyard

I walked along side Xehanort down an open path that was between millions of dead Keyblades pierced into the ground. We walked miles creating more pathways for us to walk down until we reached Terra, Ventus and Aqua together in the middle of the field. We stopped a few feet away from them and Xehanort began blubbering again. “Behold, these lifeless keys used to be full of power, united with the hearts of their Masters. On this barren soil Keyblades of light and darkness clashed in combat, as a great Keyblade War raged.” He pointed at all the Keyblades in the area making sure the three were paying attention. “Countless Keyblade wielders gave up their lives all in search of one ultimate key, and it will soon belong to me” Xehanort paused and pointed at Ventus. “χ-blade” the three gasped and with the tap of their armor piece they transformed into their battle armor and began their attack.

Terra ran up first stopping Ven from coming to us. However, Xehanort had a fast reaction; he grabbed the ground and made a 100 foot tall plateau launching us toward the sky, leaving Terra behind in the dust. Aqua came next and I jumped down shooting lightning bolts at her which she blocked and countered quickly. I did a back flip toward Ven and clashed blades with him. After that I used my dark power to control hundreds of the dead Keyblades to fly toward me and when they got to me I jumped on them and rode around casting dark magic at Ventus and Aqua. I swooped down toward Ven and tripped him, as I did the same to Aqua. Aqua looked up and saw Master Xehanort push Terra off the plateau and yelled for him. I then summoned my Keyblades to pierce from below the ground and strike Aqua hard. She fell back and her helmet had broken off so her face was exposed. Ventus came to her aid and Aqua saved Terra from me clashing my Keyblades at him.

These three worked like a team trying to defeat me and my Master but they would need to work harder than that to kill us. I stood on the big plateau as Ventus jumped up and began to strike at me. I blocked his attacks and shot him back and teleported to behind him and stoke him again with my Keyblade. As he was getting tired of getting hit he looked up and saw Xehanort fighting Terra, so he went to his friends aid but Xehanort dodged his attack and grabbed his head and froze Ventus. Terra gasped and went to attack Xehanort but before he got a chance to save his friend, Xehanort dropped him off the plateau.

Aqua broke Ven’s fall and began to try and thaw him hoping to save his life. After getting rid of Terra and Ven Xehanort began to use his darkness to push the clouds away showing a heart shaped moon that he called Kingdom Hearts. The power of Kingdom Hearts had belonged to him and I. we stood there gazing into the light when that assassin, Braig, showed up. “What do you want me to do?” he asked Xehanort. Xehanort looked over the plateau and saw Terra flying up at him. He looked at Braig. “Buy time, fight Aqua and keep her from coming up here.” He commanded. Braig nodded and headed down to Aqua and Ven. Terra showed up and Xehanort began to talk to him. “Unleash the dark power within you, let it empower you!!” Terra shook his hand and said “Never” he summoned his Keyblade and began to swing at Xehanort. I jumped in the way and blocked his attack. “I will not let you hurt my Master” I pushed him back and we began to fight.

Terra swung at me but I teleported and began to attack from behind, he took a few hits then began to attack me. He got me in the chest and I began to attack much slower after that. He went after Xehanort again but I summoned a few Unversed to get in his way. He took them out and I went for another blow to the face. He began to use darkness and he used it to push me out of the way. I got up and saw Terra cross blades with Xehanort. The Master looked at me, “Go take what Ventus owes you, and take Aqua’s life!!” he commanded me. I looked at him hoping he’d be ok and ran to the edge of the plateau and jumped down toward Aqua and Ventus.

Chapter 16: Possessed

I flew down to the ground at lightning fast speed zooming down towards Aqua. Aqua had just fought off Braig and was standing in the perfect position for a clash to the heart. I rebalanced myself and stroke down hard with my Keyblade crossing right past her face, knocking her out cold. Ventus yelled “Aqua!!” and began to unfreeze himself with his anger. I pointed my Keyblade at Aqua’s heart and was about to stab her until Ventus threw his Keyblade at me. “NNNOOOO!!!!” he yelled.

Ventus attacked me with fierce strikes, reducing my chances to win. However, I thought fast and jumped on some of those floating Keyblades again and rode around in circles to make Ventus dizzy and confused. After he began to slow down I jumped off the Keyblades and stroke down hard on to him. He got back up quickly and gave a few blows to me, I jumped back and we joined blades once again. He gave me an evil face, ones he’s really good at, and began to mumble “I will kill you!!” I smiled and split from his blade and began my own combination of attacks. He blocked a few but then he closed his eyes and sensed my every move and attacked me from any position. I guess that’s a trick he learned. He swung at me and I blocked then he jumped back and stroke even harder on me again knocking my Keyblade from my grip.

I kneed to the ground and grabbed my Keyblade again and put it away. “You’ve done it Ventus” I told him. “Now that my body is about to parish, you and I will have to join together” I smiled and removed my mask, revealing my face for the first time ever. “The χ-blade will be forged” I stroke the ground opening portals for some Unversed to appear and tackle Ventus to the ground. “The Unversed come from you?” he asked. I smiled again, “It happened when you and I were split into two; the negativity took shape as these monsters. They are what I feel, a horde of fledging emotions under my control” Ventus kept squirming free from the clutches of the monsters but failed to succeed. “And better yet, no matter how many times you defeat them their negativity flows right back into me.” I removed the Unversed surrounding Ven and brought them back into me. “You never stood a chance against us Ventus” I walked up to Ventus and made him open his heart for me to join with him and make the χ-blade.

well here it is... the final chapters. the epiloge is epic so i hope yall enjoy and thank you for all the possitive feedback on the book. ill try to make a short film about this sometime in life.

Chapter 17: The χ-blade

Aqua got up aided by that mouse again. She looked around wondering what she missed, after a while she saw Ventus but he was in my suit, or was he? She ran up to Ventus. “Oh thank goodness Ven you’re alright” I looked up and gave her a shock. I had possessed Ven’s body and was controlling him. “That’s not Ven” the mouse said blocking my attack. “Correct,” I began “I am not Ventus his heart has become apart of mine now” they gasped and saw the Keyblade I carried was unlike any other they have seen before, that was only because it was the one and only χ blade. “This χ blade will open a door, one that leads to all worlds, and then Keyblade bearing warriors will flock here from each and every one of them to battle for the light within Kingdom Hearts. Just like the legend says, the Keyblade War will begin.” I stared up at the heart shaped moon pointing the χ-blade up at it. “Shut up!!” Aqua yelled “Give Ven his heart back”

Aqua and the mouse attacked me from different angles but I had set up a decoy and they had attacked him instead. I jumped back and shot lightning out at them to stun them so my next few attacks could be successful. The mouse called out to Aqua to join together but to me the power of friendship can’t withhold my power. They went back to back and began shooting me with multiple light attacks, however I’m smarter in battle than they think because I dodged those and stroke them in the back after they split. The mouse jumped up and crossed blades with me while Aqua came from behind. I did a quick spin to get Aqua off balance and attack the mouse instead of me. They turned around and saw me multiplying myself until there was five of me, I was able to tire them out and throw them both off the plateau we were on.

Aqua fell back and hit a rock hard as the mouse flew far off away from here. I walked up to the edge of the plateau and started to gesture to them. “What’s wrong giving up already?” I asked them. Aqua pulled out her lucky charm and bowed her head, and in an instant her Keyblade started glowing and she ran up toward me in rage. “You’re just wasting your energy” I told her and we clashed blades so hard that a sonic wave appeared and traveled far into the distance. She pushed harder against my sword and soon the χ-blade broke, but not like in half but some of it shattered. “What?” I asked. Soon the draining power knocked me out and I was lost to the darkness of my heart.

There was darkness everywhere and no sight of anything. After a while I began to think I was dead, but I wasn’t. I saw Ven floating down to a platform with me and him on it and he woke up seeing me. “Our union was not finished” I told him “The χ-blade shouldn’t stay broken like this; join me now and we can complete the χ-blade” I pointed the sword at him picking for a fight. Ven shook his head, “I’ve got a better idea, how about I destroy you both” he summoned his Keyblade and prepared for a fight as well. I laughed. “The χ-blade is made of your heart to idiot, if you destroy it your heart will vanish forever” Ven gestured to me “Whatever it takes, anything to save Terra and Aqua” I chuckled thinking how stupid this kid could possibly be. “It’s always about your friends isn’t it?” I asked him “At least I have some,” Ventus yelled at me “I’ve become apart of their heart just as they’ve become a part of mine. My friends are my power and I’m theirs” he pulled his Keyblade back and began to fight.

He attacked me with multiple attacks while still in rage form. I jumped up and created a floating “x” slash in the air to home in on him. He rolled out of the way and hit me a few times; I flipped back and slashed through the air striking through him hard with tough blows to the chest. He spun into the air and created a wind based attack to strike through everything in his path. That was an attack even I couldn’t block. I ran around the platform shooting lightning bolts one by one at Ven not letting him take anymore attacks. I soon got tired of all this dancing so I jumped into the air and pierced the platform causing it to shatter into millions of pieces. Him and I were falling into complete nothingness but every chance we got we would whack each other around a bit. Ventus came for a strong finishing move on me as I was trying to rebalance myself from his last attack and he finished me off in a snap.

Epilogue

His finishing move was so powerful that he was able to knock the χ-blade out of my hand. We were falling closer to another platform and I kept falling further from the χ-blade. I kept reaching for it, I needed that key to grant me the most powerful feeling in the world but I just didn’t have enough strength to grab it and I fell back, fading away as I grew closer to the platform. The χ-blade began to glow then it shattered away, it was gone forever.

I fell to the platform and there I disappeared from sight. I had failed my Master and my duties. Where to go now, well I can’t go anywhere really because I’m back inside a sleeping heart, but that just sets me up for the next big adventure. I wouldn’t give up on my Master that easily, no, I won’t give up. I will find my way out of here, even if it means I’ll be stuck in the realm of darkness for all of eternity unless Ventus wakes up. I promised the Master I would set things the way they need to be. “Master,” I began “I’m sorry, but, I may have failed this one mission but I won’t fail you again. I promise. I will return!!

THE END!!!!
