Naroco 26 Posted April 13, 2011 if not then that would xplain namine and roxas. but if so then why does namine use a lookalike body of kairi? Same with roxas 1 KHlover12 reacted to this
Slicer9875 27 Posted April 13, 2011 Nobodies use the body to form their own "body" so to speak because they are imprints of hearts left behind. Roxas looks like Ventus because he has Ventus's heart which went into him after Sora turned into a heartless. Namine looks like Kairi because she is Kairi's nobody and Kairi had no darkness in her so her nobody was different. Basically, strong willed people use their hearts to form their nobody after being turned into a heartless. However, ordinary nobodies can form (dusks) if the person does not have a strong heart. ::Heart_XIII:: 2 Posted April 13, 2011 Yes, every Nobody needs the body and heart of their somebody. Namine and Roxas are no exception, because they really were the body of their somebodies, even if their somebodies retained their form after losing their bodies. Namine is Kairi's Nobody. She was created when Sora released her heart from him, or when she lost her heart. (I've been confused about exactly how Namine came into being. Clarification would be great.) Kairi retained her form when she lost her heart because she is a Princess of Heart. I can't really explain too well how she is Kairi's Nobody, but I can assure you that she is. As for Roxas, he is Sora's Nobody. He is made with Sora's body. When Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Peoples' Hearts, his heart was released along with Kairi's and Ventus', thus creating Roxas. Sora regained his form thanks to Kairi's PoH powers, but he still was pretty much a Heartless. As for how Roxas looks like Ven, it's more than likely because Ven's heart stayed with Sora's body when he was created, thus explaining his appearance and emotions. To put it shortly: Namine = Kairi's body Roxas = Sora's body + Ven's heart Hope that wasn't too confusing. ._.;
Rob 5,571 Posted April 13, 2011 Do nobodies need the body of their somebodies? Watch KH2 when Yen Sid explains it to Sora what nobodies are. As stated by what they said, Roxas is Sora's body and soul, but he looks like Ven because Ven's heart went into Roxas when he was created. If Ven's heart didn't go into Roxas, he would have looked like Sora. Namine was born when Sora turned into a heartless with the use of Kairi's heart(which is why she looks like Kairi), and if I remember correctly, from the Ansem reports in KH2, Ansem said Namine's existence is a mystery. You need a body to take shape, In my opinion, Namine used Sora's body just as a base(since Roxas took his body) to take form. But Nomura has avoided questions asked about Namine, so we'll probably never know.
Zexion's_Lover_46 76 Posted April 13, 2011 Without a somebody, you can't have a nobody because a nobody is half of what their somebody is. A nobody is created when a somebody loses their heart. The more powerful the somebody was, the more powerful the Nobody will be.
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted April 13, 2011 Just like others have said you need a Somebody to be a Nobody. Get it?
_kairi_namine 0 Posted April 13, 2011 Namine doesnt look exactly like Kairi because Kairi had no darkness in her heart so she was made of Kairi's body and soul but Sora's darkness and thats why she has that strong connection to Sora and has the power to mess with his memories and the also explains why Namine has no memories of her live before she was a Nobody. Roxas using Sora's body, soul and darkness. Namine was created using Kairi's body and soul but using Sora's darkness. thats why she dosnt look exactly like Kairi like she should, she is like 3/4 Kairi and 1/4 Sora. This is the debatable part, but I know Namine does not have Kairi's body (and possibly soul). Throughout all of kh1, Kairi's body remained in the realm of light so Namine could not physically have her body, and because "nothing is physically required to make a nobody, a body was unnecessary in her case". Also by darkness do you mean heartless, because that would seem to make more sense seeing that a heartless is necessary for a nobody. Because of this, namine's case shouldn't affect how we currently look at regular nobodies, but perhaps we could take it as a possibility in the future.
