TheApprenticeofKingMickey 3,689 Posted March 28, 2011 I'm pretty people have already gotten annoyed by me posting two threads asking two useless questions about BBS, seeing as how I just recently got the game. But please bear with me on this question because this is something I would like to know in advance. Anyhow, like the title suggests, this is about Blank Points. I finished completing all three scenarios and the Final Episode just not long ago and I really want to unlock Blank Points so I'm debating going straight to Proud Mode rather than Standard Mode. The problem and the question I want to know is (since I have all the Xehanort Reports in the Trinity Archives) if I automatically play Aqua's scenario on Proud Mode, will I be able to unlock the Final Episode and Blank Points? Or do I have to replay all three scenarios all over again to collect the Xehanort Reports?
NumberXIII.Roxas 64 Posted March 28, 2011 To unlock Blank points on Standard, you have to finish the Journal for all three characters 100%. On proud you have to simply have a file for each character on proud, including Final Episode. So no, simply doing Aqua on proud will not net you Blank points. To be honest, you're better off on proud, seeing as the game is not all that challenging.
NOXARA 0 Posted March 28, 2011 I agree with TerranortXIII I played the game on critical and aside for a few bosses the game was relatively easy (granted the few bosses are incredibly difficult) but id imagine proud mode wouldnt be too challenging
Azure Flame 670 Posted March 28, 2011 Nope, on Proud you just have to beat it as each character. You don't have to beat Final Episode. I know, because that's what I did. However if you're like me and not good at dodging and blocking, you'll have a hard time beating Proud Mode, I know I did. Took me forever just to beat Terra's story because I kept dying several times on the last three boss fights, especially Terranort. However, its easier than getting 100% in the trinity reports. Sure, once I understood the gameplay I thought the game was relatively easy but I thought that was just because I was playing on Beginner Mode.

TheApprenticeofKingMickey 3,689 Posted March 28, 2011 Well, here comes at least another three to four days of constant gaming.
NOXARA 0 Posted March 28, 2011 well honestly what i did is i stayed in the first world and leveled up til i was level 20 and then fought the boss and the rest of the game was cake. I didnt do that as terra but from what i remember i only had trouble with eraquas and terranort. with ventus and aqua i dont remember having much trouble but i played it when it first came out like a year ago so i dont quite remember every detail. but if you take the time early and level up it shouldnt be too bad. also it helps if you know how to get the best moves and get them early. AnHeiressofaSOLDIER 358 Posted March 28, 2011 You're better off beating the stories on Proud. What I did was level up my characters three times on each world. I think, if I remember correctly, that puts you at around Level 48 when you're going to the Keyblade Graveyard. Just as long as you level up, you should be fine. I beat most of the bosses easily and on my first try. LOL
Lu Xun 2,069 Posted March 28, 2011 No. You'll have to make Ven's, Terra's,Aqua's and the Last Episode in the proud mode. I think it's not that hard, and you may do it in 4-7 days. A good way of getting through it easily, is: -Having Once More and Second Chance as soon as you can. -Buying the Victory Pose which helps a lot in the lvl-up. -Stay lvling up until lvl 15-20 before proceeding further into the story. -Ask boss' tips to us Anyway, it's way better to do it in proud/Critical. I myself, couldn't stay doing 100%. I only did 99% in Critical D: Also, I think you should use this thread to ask bosses' questions as well, instead of creating new ones if you do choose to play everything again. Hope it helped
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted March 28, 2011 You have to replay all three scenarios.
Slicer9875 27 Posted March 28, 2011 Proud mode is simple once you get the hang of it if you get abilities and it is definitely a lot faster. Trust me, to get all the frienship commands takes forever. Even besides that, who can actually finish the ice cream beat. I would restart my file on standard mode if not for the Ice cream beat. The rest of standard mode journal is pretty easy. Rob 5,571 Posted March 29, 2011 Well, I played Terra on Beginner, Ven on Standard, and Aqua on Proud. I already collected all the reports in the game, so it was saved. After I beat Final Episode, and didn't get blank points, I had to reply Terra and Ven on Proud, and after that, replay Final Episode and it was unlocked. Well, the only way I can see you getting Blank Points without doing final episode is if you got all the reports and finishing the Journals 100%. That's the possible way of getting Blank Points without without doing Final Episode.

That's the possible way of getting Blank Points without without doing Final Episode. I didn't get the Journal to 100%, but I did get all the journals in both beginner and Proud, as well as beat the Final Episode in Beginner before starting Proud. This is what happened: As soon as I got the game I started Terra's story on beginner. Beat it and went back to get all the reports in his story. Then I moved on to Ven and did the same, still beginner. Then, as beginner again, I went to Aqua's and did the same, earning me Final Episode on beginner. I then beat that and beat VLS as Terra. Then I started Terra's story on proud and beat it will all the reports, did the same with Ven's on proud, and then Aqua's on proud. When I went to the Trinity Reports, it said I unlocked Blank Points. Then I beat Final Episode on Proud just for the heck of it. That's what happened, in order. And from what the OP was saying, it seems like that's pretty much what he did too, except the whole VLS and Proud Mode stuff. So what I said would help him, since he pretty much did the same thing.
