The group finally ehaded into the portal room, Quuentinb saw a group of keyblade weilders, he gestrued for the others to sneak around them, they quickly killed them with rapid fire. Quentin looekd and saw five portals, all goionjg to the same place, a base on hollow bastion.

"c'mon men, we have people back there." Quentin said, the others nodded, tghey went to the portals and went through, there was a camera of the room they reappeared in, it was night there, they quickly killed the cameras in there. Quentin nodded for the next group to go through.

"Have I said I was the best?" said Red between blocks. "I believe I said the you have no restraint. Was that grounds for accusation? Merely a observation. Could I be wrong? Yes. Am I wrong this instance? No. You clearly just showed no restraint. You fired back insults. I got a response. If that didnt show you didnt have restraint then I dont know what will. Red pressed hard on his heels and ignoring the next blow that struck him he slashed quick and hard at the boy. "I have fought longer and you should respect the difference between the power of our experience. And looking good wont save you. It will just make a good looking corpse."

Quentin saw thje next couple groups go through. There were seven left, they reappeared safely on the other side. Quentin kept lookign out to see if the keyblade weidlers would come, they haven't. Quentin sighed, the next group of five went through, only him and captain Narville were left.

Alex got knocked back by a blow by Red. "Hey, I have a habit of rambling. Don't blame me." Alex dashed forward and clashed with Red. "You know, I just realized something: you're a Keyblade wielder. Why are you trying to fight me and Marina? We should be on the same side." Alex pushed him back. "And hey, I respect you as a fighter. I don't like you, but you're tough enough. I especially liked the part where you got kicked in the face by a 14 year old kid who you charged at because he taunted you. Should have recorded that."

Marina saw them fighting. She just steared at the corpses. She looks down. She didn't noticed at all. They just sneaked in. Right behind them. Her mask had a really big crack in the middle and passing from one side of the mask to another. A few tears came falling through that crack. She just felt so guilty all of a sudden. She sighs and slowly stood up and called through the com. "We need reenforcements...now."Marina says.

Stahl was staring at the cameras.

"Did they just?" suddenly an explosion happened on cam, the camera disabled.

"those WPA firetruckers!" Stahl ranted. The com spoke up a couple minutes later.

"We need reenforcements...now." a voice said, He sighed.

"No can do, we're already tight from attacks, there are three of you and now... two of them. You're keyblade weidlers damn it, get the job done and kill them, they're responsible for Visari's death and you're just letting them fool you!" He yelled, he ended the transmission. The camera to the portal room was disabled.

(Meanwhile)

the last group was through.

"Good." Narville said. He saw a couple of the machines short out.

"Damn." He said, he crouched down intro one of the machines.

"there's a power shortage, iut'll take a couple minutes tor estore the connection." He said. Quentin sighed.

"Alright, hurry up sir." He said.

Marina sighs. She slowly stood up and looked at the battle. She then walked towards the door. She heard a small beeping just when she was about to open it. She stopped her hand. "(firetruck them. Even the freaking door.)"Marina thinks. She backs away and gets a bombarga sphere. She throws it towards the door. A two chain reaction happens. The force of the explotion force them away a bit. Marina's mask started to crack more. She would have throwned it away. But she didn't. This mask...was a small gift from Visari. She wouldn't even throw it away. She started to run tgrough the smoke. She gritted her theeth and started to run towards where the soldiers that were around were pointing. It was the teleportation area. "QUENTIN!!!!!!!!!"Marina yells remembering that acursed name.

"And why are you fighting the WPA soldiers? If your excuse is that they are the enemies, that would be a load of BS. And I don't like you either. The air of evident cockiness around you disturbs me. You being able to take a battle and make it a joke. This war has been around a while. Before I was born it raged. I dont see why I have to carry the burden. I just want to fight. Feel the adrenaline. Feel the power! Well looks like princess over there is calling for troops. Guess its time to take my leave. With a wave Red said "Follow me to Hollow Bastion. Undoubtly thats where she will be going. Goodbye and may we meet again again. It was fun." Red dissappeared in a cloak of flames.

Quentin's eyes widened.

"You?" HE asked, she thrusted her keyblade towards him, he dodge rolled to the ground, he fired at her, she raised her hand, it created a force field blocking the bullets, he looked to Narville.

"Sir, she's gaining." HE said. Narville sighed and kept going. He finally got it going.

"Alright, it's on." HE said. Quentin saw another keyblade, he got hit at the side. he fell back holding his side. He looked to Narvile.

"go through sir, I'll get through right away." He said, Narvill we looked at him and then ran into the portal, he dissipeared. HE looked to Marina.

" You know, I never really caught your name." quentin said, she lunged at him, he blockled with his knife and then fired his pistol towards her face, she fell back disoriented. the rest of her mask crumbled to the ground.

Marian felt as the bullet hitted her mask. It crumbled into peices. Marina's eyes widened. Time seemed to slwo down for her. Right at this moment. She preffered to get headshotted than for that mask to break. She felt her heart just stopping for a few seconds. Time went back on again. Marina fell down and her mask turned into peices. She slowly steared at it and looked down. "Marina...Marina Rocecrant..."Marina says. She could hear someone yelling at her through the com asking her what was going on. But she ignored it all. She slowly picked up the peices of the mask.

 

 

"There ya go. Now dosn't this look good?"Visari asks as he puts on the mask on Marina. Marina laughs.

 

 

She picked up the peices. "You...broke it..."Marina says feeling furious and tears falling from her face.

Alex watched as Red disappeared. He dismissed his Keyblade, and fell to one knee, breathing heavily. Well, I maaged to get under his skin. That's something... Alex heard a gunshot sound in the distance. "Marina?!" Alex began running around aimlessly, not knowing the layout of the base. "Marina..... Marina...? Marco? Polo?" Alex then heard the sound of crying in the distance. He bagan to follow it.

The air was silent. She stared at him, he heard Narville speak up on the comm.

"what are you doing, kill that scum?" He orderred. Quentin slowly turned it off, he looked at her for a moment, he slowly got up. He slowly put the gun away, she stared at him, he looked at her eyes for a moment. He suddenly understood her, Visari was ehr hero, and it hurt her to see him cut down.

"I...I'm sorry." HE said, he slowly walked to the portal, he activated it, she didn't do anything. The portal flashed and he went through. He re-appeared at the base in hollow bastion, it was night, there was nobody around. He looked to see Narville with the other soldiers, he stared at him for a moment, and then looked to the men.

"We need to get out of here." HE said, Quentin nodded. He looked at a comm and saw more captured WPA soldiers. He then looked at the portals, he pointed five men to them, they nodded and opened fire on them, they disabled the portals.

Marina looked down and moved and orgenized the peices until it looked like the face of the mask...or atleast of what it was left. Marina felt her heart shatter. This was all that was left.

 

"You got in trouble again. You need to obey orders."Visari says as he paced around. Marina had gotten in trouble for setting an enemy camp on fire...again. She couldn't do that at the moment. Since they were just trying to make peace. Not break it. "Sorry master..."Marina says. Visari then thinks for a while and looked for something in his gabinets. He took out a cape with a hood. He got it over her. "Well,if you're going to cause trouble..."Visari says. He then took out a mask. "I think you should atleast hide your identidy."Visari says.

Narville nodded.

"Alright, we need to round up the men, and disable this base." He said, Quentin nodded. they quickly headed tp the prison district. Narville pointed to the cells.

"Alright, plant the C4." He said. Quentin nodded and planted the explosives on the door. He got behind cover, it exploded, waking up the prisoners, they looked at him. he nodded and pointed towards the others, they left the cell silently. Narville looked at a map.

"Alright, we need to get these men out of here, Lieutenant, escort them out safely, I'll plant the explosives." Narville said. Quentin looked at him then nodded. HE gestured his hands towards the exit.

Alex finally came across Marina, on her knees in the teleporter room. Thankfully, it didn't look like she was hurt, but something was clearly wrong. "Hey, Marina, you okay?" He looked down on the floor to see her mask, shattered to pieces. Not going to pretend I know what the big deal with that thing is, but I won't bother asking for now. Alex quickly ran nearby and grabbed a bag. He brushed the shattered pieces into it. He then stood up and grabbed Marina's arm, pulling her up. "Hey, come on. We need to go somewhere and report what happened to the other outposts...... well, you have to, since I don't really know how-" Alex saw how broken she was. "....yeah, I'll just shut up now."

Marina just looke down. She just felt like her heart shattered into millions of peices. That was all that was left. Andnow it was broken. She looked at Alex and heard what he had to say. She tried to suck up the feeling. But it felt a bit...difficult. What was she kidding?She couldn't pull it off. She was broken and felt to jsut walk into a training room without any weapons and let the training machines kill her. But she felt a bit happy and thankful towards Alex since it seemed that he was trying to cheer her up a bit. She wiped teh tears away. "You...You're right. Um. I need to report the number of deaths back at the union room...and stuff."Marina says,bearly being able to talk without sobbing. She looked at him. "Um...want to come with me to report it in?"Marina asks,trying not to sob.

Alex shrugged. "Meh, why not? Don't exactly have much to do anyway. So we'll just need you to do..... well, kinda everything, since I have no idea what the heck to do." Alex looked at Marina. "Hey, Marina. Thanks." The looked at him, confused. "I've been part of this war for barely two months. In that time, I've met a lot of people. Out of all those people, you're the only one who hasn't told me to screw off for being optimistic at 'a time like this'"

Marina smiles a bit and starts to walk around. She looked at him. "In this war. Optimisism. Is the most needed expression. We all need an example to follow. Since one already went away."Marina says. "Come on..."Marina says. They started to walk around. Marina was still not used of not having the mask. It meant practically everything for her. When Visari died,that mask gave her safety and hope. It was gone. She needed to suck it up. Man it was going to be hard. They got to the current leader,Stahl,position. "Um,sir?"Marina asks. He didn't seemed very happy.

Stahl stared at her. He then turned.

"I have nothing to say to you, you had them, and you did nothing, that is the incompetence that got Visari killed by these WPA dogs." HE said, She looked down.

"I knew Visari personally, and he would have you killed for letting him go... but I am not Visari." HE said, she looekd at him.

"you are to track down these lost WPA troops, and kill them... I want his head on a platter." Staahl ordered. HE then looked away to the others.

"Get me my cruiser." He said looking to someone else.

(Meanwhile)

Quentin and the troops were at the entrance.

"Hold it." Someone said, Quentin turned, he saw a large groups of soldiers, with keyblades.

"Put your hands up and bring your knees to the ground." They said, Quentin slowly lowered, th eothers did, Quentin suddenly started hegaring a strange high sounding noise. Sudenly the part of the building up colapsed, Quentin looekd to see... Kazaac with the troopers that got away, they were riding in standard flyers usied to transport troops,

"Raider Command, FIRE!" He yelled. They fired ont the keyblade weidlers, who fell apart from the attack, they lowerd down, Quentin got onto Kazacs.

"Where have you been man?" Quentin asked.

"When we escaped the camp, we found these other WPA troops." HE said, Quentin nodded.

"It's good to see your not dead." Kazaac said, Quentin nodded.

"I was close though." He said, Kazaac nodded. more of the small infantry ships came and picked them up.

The rest of the prisoners got into the dropships and headed out towards the woods, any place to hide out. They finally stopped, after a couple hours Narville got there he looked around, he sighed to see Kazaac.

Quentin stood by Kazaac, Narville just got there, but he just learned what happened. Quentin couldn't talk, he was too shocked. Kazaac looked to quentin.

"Quentin I'm sorry, I had to do it, he just-."

"I'll make sure you both get court marshaled when we get back to the cruiser." Narville said, they both stared at him.

"Leave? When the fight isn't even half finished?"

"Oh no you don't, you insubordinate son of a bitch!" Narville yelled, he looked at both of them. Quentin looked at him.

"Command's putting in effect command 85, we're falling back to the cruiser's and escaping."

 

Of course Narville was still pissed with Kazaac over killing Visari. They needed to find a way off the planet, or they'd be screwed to face more of the keyblade weidler forces, they had roughly 200 guys all with them. Narville was in charge of them all since they're commanding officer was either captured, or died.

"Sir, there gonna find us, it's just a matter of time... we need to keep moving." Quentin said. It was true, they were probably some of the only forces on the planet.

Marina slowly noded. "Yes...sir."Marina says. She then started to walk out and saw all the chaos all around. Well,not chaos. But mess. Keyblade wieldeing soldiers were running all around from place to place,side to side,either trying to either kill a fire that was around or helping the injured. Marina sighs. She looks at Axel. "Um,gonne ba a bit occupied."Marina says. She looked back upfront and got the comm working. "We have some dead bodies at the union hall,we need outopsy on them asap,all of the dead must be taken to the lab,and the injured to the infermery.The ones' who belong to the army's division,3 and 4 report to the ships to further instruction. The others....please make sure that this place dosn't end up completetly underwater. The machines cannot work that way."Marina says. She sighs and walked over to see the ships. "(We need to get a full scan of the world's we are in control the most. Then the other worlds.)"Marina thinks.

Alex looked at Stahl. "Yeah, we're probably not going to get along very well." Alex watched as Marina looked at all the deaths around them. If she were looking at Alex, it would look like he was completely unfazed by all this. When she was starting to scan the worlds, Alex put his hands behind his head. "Soooooo..... why did you join this war? I mean, there has to be a reason, right?"

NArville looked at him.

"We need to do what it takes to survive." HE said, Quentin nodded.

"Sir, I think we have another problem." Someone said, It was Arthur, Quentin looekd at him, he handed Quentin a datapad.

"we found this in the Base while exvacuating the prisoners." HE said. Quentin looked at it then handed it to Narville. He pressed a button on it, it immediately started responding, it showed the collection of keyblade weilder worlds, Hollow bastion, Atlantica, Traverse Town, Holloween town, and others, it showed over hollow bastion a large ship, looked very advanced, it was equiped with nukes that were stolen from the WPa, to the other worlds, including the WPA's headquarters and home... Twilight Town. It fired the nukes and decimated everything.

Quentin's eyes widened.

So, to honor Visari, tomorrow we launch the greatest military campaign in our history.

"No... the WPA won't stand a chance!" Quentin said, Kazaac looked at them both.

"We can't jsut let it end like this." HE said, Cairo thought for a moment. Quentin looked at him.

"There has to be something we can do." Quentin said, KAzaac stood up.

"I say we get on that ship, and stop them." He said, Quentin looked at him.

"If anything we gotta warn the fleet, or it'll tear them appart." Quentin said. The others looked out and saw the ship miles away, they were close.

"WE're this close, we can't just do nothing." he said.

Marina slowly nods. "Twilight Town used to be a peaceful world,where war was nothing but a mith. There were a whole bunch of keyblade wielders though,there was even an academy only for them. Then when the goverment started this war against the keyblade wielders. Everything turned upside down. One day they charged at home full force. They were killing all of the keyblade wielders. I saw my friends being murdered right infront of my own eyes. The reenforcements came to late. Out of 185,only 38 were left of the keyblade wielders. Then I started to go on missions and be part of the main army at the mayor HQ. I considered Visari and inspiration. Then you know what happened. He got killed. I'm fighting for those who never got a chance to. Who died before even summening their weapon to the battlefield."Marina says. "Hey,we're ready. We have some activity in Twilight Town,Halloween Town,and Hollow Bastion."One of them says. Marina looks down. "Get a ship ready for Hollow Bastion. Alex,wanna come?"Marina asks.

Narville slowly stood up an dlooked out, he turned to the troops,

"C'mon, we're going in." HE said, they nodded and started going towards the place. Quentin saw the amount of keyblade weilders therem they easily outnumbered them. They saw a camera, Quentin fired on it disabling it. they got into a trench around there, but then saw some keyblade weidlers, they turned to them, one puleld out a comm.

"Sir, they're here." He said. Quentin fired towards them, they deflected and attacked them, Quentin ducked and then fired at onwe, he fell down. another one attacked and stabbed acouple WPa soldiers, they fell to the ground, NArville's eyes widened, he fired on them. They died. Kazaac was busy in the air attacking with Raider command. Narville looked down, Quentin loked at him.

"We gotta stay put and stay on the defensive." HE said, Quentin stared at him.

"Sir, we need to get going." HE didn't listen. Kazaac called him.

"Narville, what do we do?" NArville looked at it.

"We gotta fall back and get into defensive positions." He said, KAzac gasped.

"Are you firetrucking insane?" HE asked.

"Don't you ever question my orders on an open channel, now get down here." HE said, Quentin looked out and his eyes widened, there some sort of giant mechanical monster, it was easily larger then an entier WPA cruiser. Narville must of saw it.

Alex thought for about two and a half seconds. "Hey, sure. I'll go with you." Alex thought of something. "Hey, Twilight Town was my home too. I was one of the few that wasn't slaughtered there. My mom was one of the civilian casualties. She wasn't a Keyblade wielder, and I hadn't gotten one yet. This is all I've got left of her." he said, holdig the locket he wore around his neck, but still sounding cheerful. "So, Radiant Garden it is? Few people call it Hollow Bastion anymore."
