SoraFanatic 27 Posted March 20, 2011 In Birth By Sleep, the world of Destiny Islands (shown from the World Map point of view) is just a glowing sphere... it doesnt have a design to it. Is there any specific reason as to why its just some random glowing ball in space and not decorated with landmarks like every other world?
Lt Ultima 82 Posted March 20, 2011 i think it was a barior to preven anyone from geting in (but thats just me)
Tails 6,690 Posted March 20, 2011 It was because Destiny Islands wasn't connected to any worlds. Plus Destiny Islands wasn't a playable world.

I don't think you could see it before you visited it. I just figured it was to differentiate it from other, playable worlds. Also in ending credits you see stitch going off in that direction, is that him going to destiny islands (a tropical island like lelo's world) or is he curving around it to radiant garden? We know that this is 11 years before KH2. I'm assuming Stitch went to Lilo's world, which would make sense since in KH they always follow the movies just with a KH twist in it. Then after the worlds where conquered, Stitch found his way to Radiant Garden after it was saved or he just left Lilo's world(something like that). Coffeemug 1 Posted March 20, 2011 he must've gone to lilo's world. why else would he be in that form? (that form being 4 legs, no antenee, etc.) i guess that's somthing to look forward to in bbsv2, assuming, of course.
Keyblade King 12 486 Posted March 20, 2011 Destiny Isles became a huge purple sphere when you leave, because you can't go there anymore. That's it, there's no other reason. It's like in KH2, where you can see a world, but it has a shield in front of it.

It's like in KH2, where you can see a world, but it has a shield in front of it. There is a defferent between not showing the world or not allowed to get in , about ur example it's similar to making the worlds in dark like bbs and u can't get into it until finishing other worlds, there is another 2 kinds : the first one is showing the world but u can't get into it ever in the game (for example Disney Castle in kh1 ) and the other kind is not showing the world only a ball of light like destiny island in bbs , there is one more kind like removing the world , sorry if it is a long story

Multifridgeman 1 Posted March 20, 2011 Yeah, I was thinking what it was as well. You get there by accident and suddenly everyone goes there. But you can never come back because it would be a plothole.
