KHBbS Strange Logic

Okay, these scenarios have been driving me crazy for the longest time...

First of all, is Terra. Xehanort wanted him as a new vessel, so he could be young again, and see his Kingdom Hearts/God plan come to fruition, no? He got his wish, and became the Xehanort we know and...love? lol. Okay, now we go back in time to the day when Xehanort was a young man, staring out at the ocean surrounding Destiny Islands, and saying to himself, "this world is just too small," correct me if I got that dialogue wrong. Now, here's the thing that bugs me...

Xehanort's haircut/hairdue is exactly like Terra's before even knowing about Terra's existence...

WHAT?!?!

That automatically registered in my brain as a signal towards the continuing storyline shockers of this mind-blowing series. Xehanort must be either related to Terra in some way, otherwise they wouldn't look so much alike. Which would explain the natural dark-intent of Terra's personality.

The second senario is about Ven. At the very beginning of the story, Master Xehanort takes the nearly broken Ven to Destiny Islands to live out his supposed final days in peace, or something along those lines. Anyway, Ven had his own Station of Waking sequence, and witnessed his broken heart. Then a voice comes out of nowhere, telling Ven that he can use this person's heart to heal his own, until he can be normal again one day, right. I know that everybody says that Sora was the person talking to him. But if that was true, would Sora have even been born yet?

I know this takes place 4 or 5 years before Ven has his little war against Vanitas in the Keyblade Graveyard, but does it make sense? Unless Tetsuya Nomura says that Sora was talking to Ven because of some past event, I'll be confused. After Vanitas was destroyed, Ven sought out Sora again, making me think that he instantly recognized Sora, or his light.

Somebody else posted that Ven's past is still a mystery. Perhaps his past, as well as Terra and Sora's past will be revealed in BBSv2. And perhaps we'll learn the origins of Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene. Tell me if I left somebody out...

Any thoughts?

You have a good point. But, why doesn't Ventus age at all after he reaches the station of waking. I thought he had been with Eraqus for at least two years. Sora gained height after one year but Ventus looks exactly the same.

Good questions. Let us see if I can get my brain working.

Okay, these scenarios have been driving me crazy for the longest time...

Now, here's the thing that bugs me...

Xehanort's haircut/hairdue is exactly like Terra's before even knowing about Terra's existence...

WHAT?!?!

From what I remember of Xehanort's hair, it seemed that it was very close to Terra's hair, just a little different. A little longer in back and thinner "bangs." For a good look, check this video from Terra's visit to Destiny Islands. At around 3:36, you see young MX's back and the side of his head.

That automatically registered in my brain as a signal towards the continuing storyline shockers of this mind-blowing series. Xehanort must be either related to Terra in some way, otherwise they wouldn't look so much alike. Which would explain the natural dark-intent of Terra's personality.

I doubt it, but possible.

You also need to add Riku to possible relative list of MX as both Riku and MX come from the same place, have white hair and young MX and Riku uses the same voice actor.

The second senario is about Ven. At the very beginning of the story, Master Xehanort takes the nearly broken Ven to Destiny Islands to live out his supposed final days in peace, or something along those lines. Anyway, Ven had his own Station of Waking sequence, and witnessed his broken heart. I know that everybody says that Sora was the person talking to him. But if that was true, would Sora have even been born yet?

Sora was just born.

I am a little confused at what you are saying here.

If you are wondering how and why Sora's infant heart connected with Ven's broke one, I do not have a clue. (If this is not what you meant, please post what you did mean)

Somebody else posted that Ven's past is still a mystery. Perhaps his past, as well as Terra and Sora's past will be revealed in BBSv2. And perhaps we'll learn the origins of Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene. Tell me if I left somebody out...

I too hope for some more character clarification in future installments of the series. BBSv2, hopefully.

I hope I was of some help in the questions.

Just because Xehanort's hair looks a little similiar to Terra's doesn't mean they're related. Terra wasn't even born back when Xehanort lived in the Islands. And just because Terra's personality is a little simaliar to Xehanort's means nothing. It's all jusy a coincidence in this case.

The second senario is about Ven. At the very beginning of the story, Master Xehanort takes the nearly broken Ven to Destiny Islands to live out his supposed final days in peace, or something along those lines. Yes, Sora was born around that time. He "followed the light" which led him to Ven's fractured heart.

Well, it was like how Sora found Ven's heart. He "followed the light" which led him to Sora's heart once again.

Somebody else posted that Ven's past is still a mystery. Perhaps his past, as well as Terra and Sora's past will be revealed in BBSv2. And perhaps we'll learn the origins of Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene. Tell me if I left somebody out...

Well, all I can say is who really knows? But it might possibly happen. From what I've seen, we might see new scenes of previous KH game that were never seen before.

Here's my big "what if" moment: What if Xehanort is Terra's grandfather and Riku is actually Terra's brother??? /shot

The voice said it was a newly born heart and if you listen when he and Ven say "open the door" you can hear Sora's voice.

Somebody else posted that Ven's past is still a mystery. Perhaps his past, as well as Terra and Sora's past will be revealed in BBSv2. And perhaps we'll learn the origins of Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene. Tell me if I left somebody out...

It might be just me but after seeing Sora, Riku, and Kairi as little kids I've been dying to see a little Ven :) /shot

And it showed Braig, Even, etc already in BBS so why not show Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene's pasts? I'm betting Demyx will be a rockstar :D

Seriously, you guys make the simplest things look so confusing and confuse yourselves in the process. Having the same kind of hair has nothing to do with it. I can have a mohawk and a guy across the world has a mohawk. Does that mean we are related in any way? No, but we can have similar personalities which is possible. If Sora wasn't born, then he wouldn't be talking to Ven. (I believe I told you this in another thread you made)Nomura said the newly born Sora restored Ven's damaged heart. This happens 4 years before Xehanort comes for the Mark of Mastery, seeing as though Sora is 4 in this game. Yes, when Ven damaged his heart again, he went back to the source that helped heal his heart the 1st time.

I knew you made this thread because of somebody else that mentioned Ven's past is a mystery(Just by reading what you said about Young Xehanort's hair looking like Terra). There are some things we learn, and some we don't. I doubt we will know Ven, Terra, and Aqua's past, which I think might be informative, but kind of pointless or else it would've been mentioned already. Also, I doubt we will learn anything related to Demyx, Marluxia, Larxene, etc. since they weren't founding members of the Organization, and aren't Ansem's apprentices(founding members that were mentioned the Ansem reports), and aren't from Radiant Garden like Lea and Isa.

you have awsome questions that i can most likely answer.

1.xehnorts hair? well i guess its like a future refrence

2. to be honest you got the time wrong of that its ten years befor sora got the keyblade but when the little boy is talking to ven thats a few months befor he got to leave the LoD so yes sora was born then i mean he was five but still. and yes vens past is still a mystery and so is terra's and aqua's but we know a little bout sora's past. maybe we will learn more about Demyx, Marluxia, & Larxene and i hope its sometime soon

I can't believe I forgot Luxord! lol. I just think that you can't have a complicated hairdue like young Xehanort's, and not have some relation to him. I mean, Terra's mom probably had brown hair, and maybe his dad could of been Xehanort's son? I don't think Nomura would leave TAV pasts unknown, and they'll probably be revealed in BBSv2.

Though I don't think people having similar looks necessarily means anything (in the real world, anyway), I will give credit where credit is due. Lightning/Serah, Jote/Fran/Mjrn, Laguna and Raine/Squall, Ifalna/Aerith... Square-Enix does seem to make family members look quite a bit alike. Xehanort could be related to Terra, but as rikunobodyxiii said, I think with this logic he could be related to Riku, too. After all, young Xehanort's line, "This world is just too small" is very similar to Riku's, "What a small world."

I keep leaving out Riku for some reason. That could explain a lot of things. When young Riku is talking to Terra on Destiny Islands, Terra envisions a young Xehanort, then Riku turns around and appears in his KHII outfit. That's a dead giveaway that Riku is also, somehow related to Xehanort. Destiny Island inhabitants are all mysterious, no? lol.

...Destiny Island inhabitants are all mysterious, no? lol.

heh, Definitely.

it shouldn't be surprising that the most dangerous antagonist in the universe came from Destiny Islands, I mean they spar with wooden swords for fun, they are pretty violent people.

And I could totally see Xehanort being Riku's grandfather.

And that's a good point about Ven, I never really realized, but I think there was supposed to be about 4 years between when Sora completed Ven's heart at the beginning of BBS and the end of BBS. Ven didn't really do alot of growing...is he just a midget? lol
