HelpMeRan-Sama 141 Posted March 26, 2011 Anyone remembers "The World is gonna end in 2000"? I don't think the world is gonna end in 2012
khkeyblader1 0 Posted March 26, 2011 I respect your public ranting however I believe it is not necessary. There are people here who seriously believes this will happen and starting a thread titled "There is NO SUCH THING AS 2012!" Is like saying "There is NO SUCH THING AS GOD!" on here. It is just as offending for someone who believes in it. I trust that you will respect their belief next time and not be so foolish as to go against another's. To be on topic, I personally believe that it may happen, but the odds of it happening this soon is slim. I think that some people are getting worked up because not only that the mayan calender ends on that day, it is also an "ancient warning" described by Graham Hancock. There is something more to the calender than we can comprehend. I am not saying I think the world will end, however, I believe that something may happen. I know that the planets will align on that date and I do know that the calender did not just simply end because they got tired of creating the calender as proved by Professor Hancock, as the calender is a cycle, not a calender like ours, but because a series of events may lead up to that date. Is it a bunch of nonsense created for entertainment purposes only? We will have to see when the day comes, so live your lives the way you wanna live them and put 2012 aside. When and if the end comes, don't be afraid because everything living was meant to die. It is a cycle of nature and is to be treated as such. Oh and one more thing. The earthquake in Japan? Man made. khkeyblader1 0 Posted March 26, 2011 errr... no it wasn't. Some people actually believe it is man made and some don't..like you. I am not saying your wrong, I'm right as that would be childish lol. I am just saying everyone has their opinions. I was told it was man made and someone described who made it, why, and proof to their conclusion so now I guess I believe it was man made. Most people will disagree with me, if not everyone but I'm okay with that honestly.
ObsidianEagle 103 Posted March 26, 2011 i just don't see how it could possibly be man made. it was caused by the natural shifting of earths plates due to the fact that they are floating on the magma under the crust and the crust is broken up into plates, which don't cover 100% of the world. japan is right on a plate margin where three plates meet. one slides over the other and it causes an earthquake, and (if under water) a Tsunami

Either way, I'm pretty sure that's for a different thread. :// About 2012: Like Ran said, everyone thought the world was going to end in 2000. And you know what happened then? Absolutely nothing. Amon 4,279 Posted March 26, 2011 The only thing humans can do that can set off an earthquake is detonate a nuclear weapon at a fault line or something. And that couldn't be done without being detected.
Coffeemug 1 Posted March 27, 2011 I mean seriously people, do you really think the world will end in 2O12? Just because some crazy myan says it will doesn't mean its true. I'm more than 1OO% sure that 2O12 will never happen. I see people on this site pretending they think its going to happen. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 2O12! And if there were than that would mean we all die at young ages. there IS such thing as 2012, there ISN'T if the world ends lol sory if any one else said somthing like this, i only read the 1st post and you can't be more then 100% anything, just sayin'
Lu Xun 2,069 Posted March 27, 2011 No it won't. And anyone who doubts 2O12 won't happen will see 2O12 come early! How can you be so sure? Have you ever talked with God and asked if this will or won't happen? I seriously don't know if it'll or not. We'll find out next year. And I also think that you're being rude to those who believe on it. Seriously, everyone got differently opinions. You can't say "It won't happen" and think that everybody will agree or change their faith.
HelpMeRan-Sama 141 Posted March 27, 2011 errr... no it wasn't.The quake and tsunami itself is natural, but the radiation madness is man made. Well I believe that the predictions of the world ending in 2000 was very uneducated because it was based on the start of the new millennium. However, 2012 is more accurate as it is actually based on the mayan calender, which some say were more advanced then us. I've just got some news about one prediction made by NASA that a planet sized object named Nibiru (Planet X) whatever you'd like to call it, will collide with earth or closely approach it in the 21st century. It had initially been predicted to collide in 2003 but it was a no-show. Now it is predicted to collide on the date the mayan calender ends. I find this a little funny because if it was predicted to collide in 2003, and did not, why would NASA take another shot at it and say it will collide on december 21st of 2012 when they had been wrong the last time? Now, there are at least over 200 videos about planet Nibiru and how it will collide with earth in 2012. Do we want to die so much that we'd make every single little thing the end of the world? We jump to conclusions too much i suppose. I'd laugh my head off if the 21st passed and everyone's like "yay we didn't die!" then the 22nd comes you wake up with a huge meteor-like thing coming towards the earth, 4x as big. Hey, the mayans would be a day off wouldn't they?

heartless101 83 Posted March 28, 2011 I like most people, don't believe that the world will end in 2012. It was supposed to be said that the world was going to end in 2000, but look where we are. We're still here. But like some people said, you're basicially shutting down other people's ideas when you're like "THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS 2012!!!!!!!!!!!" Just respect other's ideas man. this is quite off-topic, but am i the only person who gets really annoyed every time you see his posts where he says ''2O12'' instead of ''2012'' Yeah, I'm a little annoyed with that. axel19 6 Posted March 28, 2011 The way you state your thread contradicts what you are saying, your title is basically implying that either the world is going to end in 2011 and 2012 will never come, or that some how the year 2012 is going to be skipped all together. I know what you are saying, but at least be clear, say like, "The world isn't going to end in 2012", and another thing, the capslock makes you look like a gentleman, just saying, capslock and this subject don't mix, it's like oil and water. Twin towers destroyed - 9/11/01 Japan earthquake - 3/10/11 9+3=12 11+10=21 1+11=12 12/21/12 ... Pure coincidence, no one can predict when the world is going to end, now perhaps the Mayan Calendar relates to some sort of event, but it doesn't predict the end of the world. If you are worried, then think about a few other things, there are many many people who have said the world was going to end, Christians in 1844, even some recent predictions, a few years earlier than now, and even some Christan radio station says the world will end in this May. The point is, so many people have predicted it and the prediction was totally wrong, and they just made some lousy excuse for the mistake, what makes an ancient civilization with a weird calendar any different? The thing is, the Mayans aren't even the ones that said that their calendar is predicting the end of the world, it's people that found it, and considering the past, what makes them so right now? The point is that I'm not believing it, besides, if we could predict when the world is going to end, then that basically means that there is no greater deity, being, or whatever it is that you want to believe in, or don't want to. If you believe that, you're basically saying that we are all an accident, do you want to live your life believing that you came from a glob of galactic snot? I don't think so. yes the mayan calander did stop at 2012 but it does not mean the end of the world it just means a new time to celebrate a new millimenum dont ask i watched 2012 on history channel and thats what they said about the mayan calender
DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted March 28, 2011 This reminds me of the time everyone went into a panic thinking by the end of the week the world would be sucked into a black hole because some scientists in some other country were colliding atoms or something with each other to create new elements or something. It was a few years ago, so the details are fuzzy, but since we are all alive and well, I think that panic was for nothing. My point: Just because everyone says the world will be destroyed, that doesn't mean it will be.
axel19 6 Posted March 28, 2011 i agree thats all we here about 2012 i would only believe them if some came in a time machine in my sight and told me
waytothexdawnx 1,159 Posted March 28, 2011 pfft, its all a bunch of bulsh!t. besides, KH3D comes out in 2012 (well, possibly) so the world cant end then ;P

PlatinumKiss 4 Posted April 7, 2011 *to correct previous posts for no reason in particular* Actually they didn't say the world would end in 2000- just that all technology would fail in an epidemic that would cause all of the businesses to crash because of our largest flaw: to be so dependant on electronics. Of course it was a load of BS but I just wanted to clear that thing up there. *cough* But that's beside the point Yeah Stalker, I completely get what you're saying; nothing is eternal(lol sounding like Xemnas here) so the world will end SOME DAY but........the people who came up with this whatnot never even knew what they were trying to say to begin with (it probably was a calender or some sh like that). People do this alot- we panic about nothing- it's just our nature. I mean REMEMBER the time people thought aliens were attacking or that the Russains would cause a nuclear war? Also..................I don't want to use a joke that this site killed already but.......the "end of the world" is on Friday......
Guest Twisted Enigma Posted April 7, 2011 um... the 2012 idea is based off of the fact that the mayan calendar ends in that year. well, the mayans have like, cycles in their calendar that change like every 30000 years. 2012 is simply the end of a cycle. and why make a calendar for a cycle a few hundred years later? ObsidianEagle 103 Posted April 7, 2011 lol, i never thought of that before
Leaxel 178 Posted April 7, 2011 Maybe the end of the world as we know it. I mean something will happen, but yeah you never know.
