Sora96 17,256 Posted March 12, 2011 will this slow down the making of the new kh game? That's just stupid. People are probably dead. And you just care about Kingdom Hearts games being released sooner.

J. Severe 1,137 Posted March 12, 2011 Yeah, found out about this a few hours ago on IGN. Pretty sad. I don't have any relatives in Japan, so I probably don't know the pain numerous Japanese folks are doing, but I can imagine it's probably horrible. Japan's a country full of rich history and tradition. Hope that doesn't go down the drain and the country can pick itself back up. After a huge earthquake and tsunami though, that'll be a hard task. And why's everyone getting all angry at the guy who asked about a KH game? Either the guy's trying to make a funny or he's just curious. No need to go all beast and say, "Oh, you're insensitive! Get a life! Who cares about a game at a time like this?!" People have feelings, y'know...
Tails 6,690 Posted March 12, 2011 Yeah, i also heard the news as well. I really hope those people are okay, because I really love Japan and always wanted to visit there. i just hope that Tsuname doesn't ruin that all for me. I heard that over 100 people died during that Tsuname too. Also, Sora96 that Tsuname has nothing to do with 2012. The Tsuname was caused by the Earthquake, and earthquakes are caused by techtonic plates that clash with one-another. So after the earthquake was triggered, it also caused a Tsuname to happen somewhere underground in the water.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted March 12, 2011 This is just tragic. Complete towns destroyed and litterly washed and dragged away by the strong forces of the tsunami. thousnads and thousands homeless. Hundreds to a thousand missing I belive. And a thousand are dead and the number of deaths is expected to rise when they start looking around the rubbles and destroyed buildings. I really don't know what to say. I'm speachless of this really. I just say that may those innocents who died in this incident may rest in peace and may the lord take them all to paradise by his side. khoathkeeper13 429 Posted March 12, 2011 Okay all you guys need to relax. Espically Cardcaptor. He's taken everything I say to seriously and sensitivley. Ever heard of a "joke"? Yes, this catostrophe is horrible I understand. 1000s have died and this will cost japan a fortune to recover, however you think its socially acceptable to act facetious at a time like this, you really are a horrible person Yeah, its a bit like watching the news for 9/11 and going "haha that plane 'sploded" Its really disrespectful to all the people who have got injured or died and to the people whose familiy or friends may have been injured or died. FireStorm 162 23 Posted March 12, 2011 just want to say, to EVERYONE specifically wishing Square's safety, stop being so selfish and think about all the people in japan, not just your favourite game publisher this. one million percent this. it's a horrible thing that has happened, and also telling jokes about what happened is the definition of disrespectful and too soon, it's quite insulting, and if people that do joke are trolling, don't do it here, you look like a doushebag when you do and spenskh89, the post you made that got deleted was childish, people told you off for saying something horribly insulting so you decided to insult some more, honestly I'd give you a warning for that post if I could, I really would... ObsidianEagle 103 Posted March 12, 2011 my heart really goes out to the japanese people, i hope that everyone managed to get safe. i have donated money as well. and i will say that, personally, i will be neutral repping everyone who has been especially woried about the state of the new kingdom hearts game. Aaron 579 Posted March 12, 2011 Apparently the nuclear reactors in Japan are becoming unstable. They could melt down.
ObsidianEagle 103 Posted March 12, 2011 jeez, so much stuff is happening. but tbh, if there had to be that earthquake anywhere in the world, i'm glad it's japan. japan have alot of earthquakes, and were prepared enough for this one. any other place would have been completely devastated by a Tsunami, or even just the earthquake
Aaron 579 Posted March 12, 2011 Ironic: Japan sent a team of 10 over to New Zealand to help with the recovery effort after their recent earthquake. They were due to return to Tokyo today.
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted March 12, 2011 Okay CardCaptor just be quiet. You act as if you know my state of mind right now and as if I'm "evil". And I live in New York City and my mom was almost caught in the explosion during 9/11. Really I would expect some one your age to be more mature. If you think about it you're really a horrible person to come here and say something like that when you don't even know me. If you want to keep on calling me a "horrible person" then go ahead.I don't really care. I just laugh at you like the whatever you are.
FireStorm 162 23 Posted March 12, 2011 people, stop the arguments NOW!!!!! A disaster is happening and some of you are arguing and making jokes, not on, I'm becoming a little ashamed to be here right now...... How about you think of the people who have lost their lives to this tragedy, and not SE, I know you all like the company and all, but get your priorities straight and think of the people instead. Hopefully this will be the last post of an argument between sane and joking people. also, to people telling jokes, a little sympathy goes a long way ok, think about that for a minute before you post a joke Everybody, if you can, please donate to Japan so they might be able to get through this sometime soon (I donated, you get a really good feeling when you do it, as I just found out)
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted March 12, 2011 You know I would have to agree with you. But I never really did anything to upset you guys. Some people here take things too seriously *cough* CardCaptorDeadpool *cough*.
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted March 12, 2011 Alright fine. I'm done arguing. ABC news is acting like the nucleur power plant is going to explode. I hope it doesn't.
DChiuch 5,773 Posted March 12, 2011 will this slow down the making of the new kh game? No offense to you, but couldn't you feel just a little sympathetic? Some people aren't just losing a house, or some expensive electronic device. Some are losing family members, and some are losing their lives. The least you could do is stop thinking about whether one game is going to be made within the close future, and start thinking about other people. What if a tsunami hit where you live? Would you be worried about video games, or for your life, or your family's and friends'? Please, just think about that for a bit. Thousands of people die every day, and even worse than a natural disaster, they die from causes that we could easily prevent. Poverty and the like, etc. Anyway, does this mean we should, every day, stop everything and worry about people dying? Why does Japan deserve special sympathy? Of course it's terrible, but I just think it's hypocritical for people to feel terrible about this but not express the same concern every time many die from poverty (every day). Poverty doesn't kill thousands of people, all at once, in one area. Nor does it destroy entire cities and towns all at one time. Poverty is something that, like you said, we CAN prevent. Natural disasters are hard to predict, and even if you do, there's nothing you can do to stop them. There are people that, everday, try and help people suffering from poverty & etc. and are concerned about them. They just don't jump up and say "TODAY I HELPED HOMELESS PEOPLE, PLEASE CONGRATULATE ME AND TELL ME WHAT A GOOD JOB I'VE DONE."
Sora'sMum 352 Posted March 12, 2011 Well this wasn't what I was expecting out of the thread, but anyway there was an explosion in one of the nuclear plants and it has a good chance of going into meltdown which would not be good at all. Also, DC makes a good point about lack of concern about other tragedies that occur everyday but I don't think that it should change how we feel and act about Japan. Arguments over
Zexyon 1 Posted March 13, 2011 Dear people who think this is funny, Japan gave us Kingdom Hearts and if they didn't this wouldn't be a site that we all enjoy. Thank youlol
CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted March 13, 2011 @DChiuch you have a point about why it should have such sympathy I mean Japan's still an affluent country with people and the buildings used to tremors or earthquakes although in this case its quite a significant one. Your also right how we shouldn't just drop everything and morn but I strongly disagree with and challenge what you said about poverty. It isnt as preventable as you say I've seen plenty of people with barely enough money for their essentials and families, Ive also seen the worry in trying to pay the bills that they barely can, Ive even seen a couple of people barely make it by the skin of their with just hope and luck. The only definite cureis for the wide gap between rich and poor became even. So and no offence but please dont talk about things you dont truly know

When I said it was preventable, I meant exactly what you said, about the gap between the rich and the poor etc etc. So yeah your last line is a bit uncalled for lol... CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted March 13, 2011 I get how you mean, and sorry about the last line it was a little hardcore, I used to do work experience in a soup kitchen and the amount of people down on their luck just broke my heart, they had plenty of hard tales to tell to. Kaiso 2,764 Posted March 14, 2011 In all seriousness I hope for the best for everyone effected by what has happened. I do agree though that people overlook other more smaller things that happen in the world that should probably receive more help than it does. But despite all that the earthquake, tsunami, and all of that did happen and there are people there who need a helping hand at this moment too. In my opinion I feel that both need the same amount of help: those who aren't necessarily involved with natural disasters but still are at risk, and those involved with natural disasters like the one that has occurred. I know personally I'll try to do things every now and then to help both causes, but it is up to an individual to decide whether or not they want to focus on one cause or both (even though both are equally important imo). Natural disasters are more widely posted on the media, so naturally they would receive a bit more attention than the other things that get overlooked. >: Now moving onto another thing--Seriously guys... mourning over whether or not your favorite anime or game isn't going to progress any further due to the event really doesn't do much in my opinion, but I know deep down it means you're just hoping for those involved with your favorite game/anime/etc. will be okay, so I'll overlook that. I'll send my prayers and do what I can such as a few charity events my school is holding, but I don't see any reason in dwelling on any disagreements that are occurring. If someone's posted something you find to be a little bit wrong just report it okay? Don't start any unnecessary arguments or at least keep it in PM's. D: Nomura's wikipedia says he died in the Earthquake D: RIP Nomura and the other people who died, you'll be missed. that might just be someone trolling. if they were at work at the time, he would have been completely safe in SE tower Okay Nomura is either safe in SE tower or he's on a plane far, far away from Japan. Wikipedia and Wiki is full of miss imformed people that make up lies all the time. I just hope that everyone involved makes it through this okay.. = But for those wondering: Square Enix confirmed on their Twitter that everyone is ok which means Tetsuya should be ok too then since he works for Square Enix. ????????? ??????????????????????????????????????????[OK]??????????????[OK]?????????Twitter??????? Whether or not the person who submitted this on Person Finder is trustworthy or not, I'd like to believe this is true for any case so with this I'm hoping everyone will stop worrying about if their silly series will continue on or not. But in all honesty, I'm very happy to know that (hopefully) everyone in SE is okay. Apparently the nuclear reactors in Japan are becoming unstable. They could melt down. Man, if those take a turn for the worst, that would be terrible for the entire world... This is such a scary thing to be watching. D:
