We don't know what Lea and Isa's intentions were, but it's clear that they weren't allowed to enter since they were kicked out, as shown in the credits when you beat the game.

You need to beat their stories on the 3 difficulties. Normal (the second one on the list) Proud and Critical. Beat those modes with a character and tada, secret ending. Thats how I did it.

That's not how you do it. In Normal you have to get 100% in the trinity report. For Proud and Critical you just have to beat all three of the characters stories.

I believe that they were only trying to talk with Ansem the Wise but, Dilan saw them and threw them because they didn't have permission to talk with him.

I think they just wanted to see what was inside and they were mischevious teenagers, that simple. It totally sounds like Axel to do something as ridiculous as breaking into a castle of the founder of his home world.

To be honest, we really don't know. We never find out why they wanted in, just that they weren't allowed in.

 

But, as has been said before, it was probably to just see what's in the castle, or to cause some sort of mischief.
