People...i just saw the trailer for 3D and apparently ASod and Xemnas Are Back to back. Possible Switching of Fight Between him and Xemnas ingame, just like ff7?

Nomura says that you'll be randomly switching between Sora and Riku during the game, so that could be one of the times you'll be switching back and forth.

It'd be cool if they had something like that for each world. Like Sora fights the villain as Riku fights the hero, or Sora fights an Ice themed enemy, Riku fights a fire themed enemy

Xemnas and Ansem SoD aren't back to back. They're facing the same direction and in the exact same spot.

That would be impossible because they're both facing away from the mural. What you see it their hair. What it looks like to me is their images were super imposed on eachother, so you see Xemna's hair on Ansem SoD and vice versa.

The way they are back to back may just be for effect for the trailer, just saying that ASoD and Xemnas will appear as bosses for Riku and Sora Respectively. The only thing I'm interested at the moment is how this dimension showing younger Sora and Riku connects to the current versions of them. I try and think of examples like Re:coded, where it was a data Sora, seperate from real Sora, but any ideas?

What do you mean back to back? Like, they are facing the same general direction but their backs are kinda facing towards each other? If so, I'm not seeing it, I watched it and they look like they are facing the same exact way, so either I misunderstood what you were saying or there's just something I'm not getting.

 

Edit: Oh, I read some of the posts and looked again. I never saw the transparent part behind the person that was being focused on, wow, that's kinda cool. But are they actually facing back to back? It kinda just looks like one of them is behind the other during those video parts.

 

Edit again: And then I kept watching and saw all of Xemnas' spiky hair when it zoomed in on Ansem, so never mind, they are back to back, I just wonder what it all means

 

And again: Unless I can just see it and it makes me think that I see the back of Xemnas' hair when really I don't. I honestly have no clue anymore .

Actually, they are. When you first look at Ansem, you can see the back of Xemnas' hair, as well as the back of his shoulders. Then the second time when it zooms on they're faces, as you look at Ansem, you can see the back of Xemnas' hair, and when it switches to Xemnas, you can see the back of Ansem's hair, especially the tips of the 2 spikey parts Ansem has on the side of his head. So yes, they are back to back.

i just went and watched the trailer. when it's showing Riku and Ansem SoD, as it's zooming in on Ansem SoD, it when you see Xemnas' hair off to the side, the way the spikes in Xemnas' hair are pointing is leading me to believe they're both facing towards the open area, and not towards the fountain with the picture, but the rest look to me like they're facing opposite ways. so now i'm sorta confused?
