KH3D A dream in reality...

Recommended Posts

After being inspired by various by I came up with this simple theory idea on what the conditions are that allow these paradoxical situations to happen in kh3d.

Adding to what the title says a dream in reality has occurred in the kh days scene: "The Snarl of Memories." We have three people in this scene (or series of scenes), Xion, Roxas, and Riku. In a sort of phenomena, the memories and realities of that day are confused between them. Riku remembers that scene in CO then Xion absorbs it and through a convoluted connection between Xion and Riku and Xion and Roxas, the actual definitions of where this character is and who is that character become blurred beyond recognition.

It all comes down to this question: How did that happen? and my answer is this: While there was a definite location of Xion, Riku, and Roxas in reality, their dreams literally combined and projected themselves out into reality creating one nightmare illusion. It is an odd concept but not unheard of. In a way I would imagine it being similar to dreams while awake, except really convincing almost like being on a hallucigen (but I wouldn't know :).

Lets establish some connections in concept between 3d and these series of scenes; both involve switching characters, both have a sense of dreams and memories, both involve a new reality being explored.

The key concept in this theory is projections of dreams unto reality, and when it reaches the other's mind they become entwined in this dream projection. In kh3d Sora and Riku will both project their dreams and their dreams will become one in reality, they will switch conscience much like Roxas and Xion (Note: I am not referring to Xion turning into different people).

How will this affect (this form of) Xehanort? I find it possible that upon his entrance into the dream projection, he will be split again into the two forms we see in front of Sora/Riku at the end of the trailer, depending on ones perception. Riku of course interprets Ansem sod, and as for Sora, Xemnas.

Thoughts, opinions. Good idea, bad idea?

So you mean KH3D is going to be one big mindfiretruck? (Pardon the language; couldn't find a better way to put it.)

I hope not. ._.

For the lack of a better word' date=' yes.
