Zenithia 305 Posted February 28, 2011 tutti frutti. I read more on KH3D and read that the game is based around trust (feel free to correct me since I don't believe everything on the internet). But nonetheless, if the game IS based on trust in some way, maybe we will see Sora and Riku just stop trusting one another from something that may happen during the MoM exam. I know they kind of went at it in KH1, and CoM if you replace Riku with Repliku. I think that it would be a pretty interesting setup for KH3. What does everybody else think about what will happen regarding this trust in KH3D?
Wuver 920 Posted February 28, 2011 Maybe Sora will backstab riku or vice versa
::Heart_XIII:: 2 Posted February 28, 2011 That'd be interesting for the ending, to have them stop trusting each other. But I think it just means that a lot of what will happen will rely on them trusting each other.
Zenithia 305 Posted February 28, 2011 Maybe Sora will backstab riku or vice versa tutti frutti. haha, honestly, I would love to see Sora backstab somebody. That would be a crazy twist to the story. I would really be surprised if Nomura did something like that in a KH game, it wouldn't matter which one to me.
Rob 5,571 Posted February 28, 2011 Yes, Nomura said the game was about trust. I made a thread based on what I saw in the KH3D trailer when it came out and it was about the trust theme. I said: In the KH3D trailer, you see Ansem with a see through Xemnas behind him, vice versa. Nomura said that KH3D is about "trust". So Sora can see Xemnas and Riku can see Ansem. What if Ansem and Xemnas were just an illusion, and Sora and Riku were fighting each other without knowing it because they think they're fighting Ansem/Xemans, and they would have to figure out that it's not really them and that they are fighting each other. It reminded me of something from an episode of Street Fighter years ago where Ryu and Ken were fighting a doll but they realized they were fighting each other. Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted February 28, 2011 That could happen because Terra and Aqua fought each other during the MoM test in BBS. But theres a chance it could be an illusion. Yen Sid could have set them up.
Wuver 920 Posted March 1, 2011 Kinda like when xion and roxas fought.. (358/2 days) Halloween town? Ring a bell? 2 Akihiko and A Black Sun reacted to this
J. Severe 1,137 Posted March 1, 2011 I'm thinking Sora and Riku are competing against each other in the Mark of Mastery exam, trying to beat the other and earn the title of "Master." That could lead to some tension between the two, and ultimately them losing trust in one another. Oh, and like in all classic Disney scenarios, they end up facing someone they need to work together to beat, and then they reconcile, go on to fight Xehanort, etc.
VanitasRemnant 1 Posted March 1, 2011 I believe that Riku will go back to darkness. He does not fit with "the light" type of character. In Chain of Memories he chooses the road to Dawn, that I believe is the road of having both light and dark equally. Maybe he can pull it off. Sort of light Cecil From FFIV having the powers of light and darkness. Riku needs a light transformation ( has to be different from the dark form that looks like a Hawaiian skirt). Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted March 1, 2011 It looks nothing like a Hawaiin skirt and if you said that to him he'd blast you in the mouth with Dark Aura. 1 Kinode reacted to this
Keyblade King 12 486 Posted March 1, 2011 Well considering that it is an exam. I think it'll be all about Yen Sid testing their trust in each other, making fake version of each other and seeing if the real Sora and Riku can tell that they're friend is a fake. That sort of thing.
DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted March 1, 2011 Maybe they will learn that there is some sort of enemy who can change form and they have to find them, then at some point they start accusing each other of being that person. This could also fit with the "Not the Sora we are familiar with." I didn't realize that until I had typed the first sentence in this post.
AnHeiressofaSOLDIER 358 Posted March 1, 2011 "Sora, are you certain you can trust Riku?" Honestly, I believe Nomura's been planning something like this for a while. And if the games anything like BbS, their actions in the different worlds could put them at each other's throats. A lot of people think Sora and Riku will begin growing distant (no pun intended), and I have to agree. Not to sound like a therapist, but there's a lot they've kept bottled up inside. And about Sora stabbing Riku in the back: it could happen. After all, some think the people inside Sora will start effecting him. Anyway, even though I want Sora and Riku to be friends at the end, I think a strain in their friendship would be good to see. It'll make them seem older and more real. I don't want them to try and kill each other again (really they'd only do that if possessed), but I don't want them to depend on each other, either. Lt Ultima 82 Posted March 1, 2011 NOPE its become clear to me that their all gonna bord the titanic and learn to trust everyone and prevent the evil "heartless" iceburg from sinking the ship of trust ~no one should take this seriously but u should read it~

AnHeiressofaSOLDIER 358 Posted December 25, 2011 I can see this happening Oh wow. It was so long ago that I wrote this. I don't really see it happening anymore, either -shrugs- But with 3D, who knows? I bet a lot of crazy stuff will happen in that. Especially since it's the Anniversary Game. At least, I've started to think it is. I think a lot of past things might happen again in some way.
replika13 455 Posted December 25, 2011 maybe vanitas causes riku to think that sora has changed sides and makes sora to think that riku tries to replace him by looking like him. 1 Zenithia reacted to this
Zenithia 305 Posted December 30, 2011 maybe vanitas causes riku to think that sora has changed sides and makes sora to think that riku tries to replace him by looking like him. tutti frutti. Man, I was just about to put that down after watching the new trailer a number of times. Vanitas does have a helmet and can hide his face from Sora. While Riku can see Vanitas as Sora turn villain and completely mess with Riku. That could definitely have a crazy effect on Sora and Riku losing trust in one another. Sora thinking that Riku turned evil again, and Riku thrown off track with Sora using the powers of darkness. Unless Yen Sid and Mickey inform them of what happened in BBS, which I kind of doubt it since they seem to leave out important stuff in the series, I can totally see this happening. Shana09 5,769 Posted January 2, 2012 I think they are going to not trust each other after the game. Which means that mabye riku will die in kh3? That will be so sad! Mabye sora also who knows....
Mog 97 Posted January 2, 2012 I think they are going to not trust each other after the game. Which means that mabye riku will die in kh3? That will be so sad! Mabye sora also who knows.... Ridiculous. Nobody dies in Kingdom Hearts. Nomura said the concept of death doesn't exist here.
Zenithia 305 Posted January 3, 2012 That would be a major plot twist right there. I would love to see that kind of scene in there drama tutti frutti. I started a thread in the general/future section of this forum call "Vanitas Theory/Possibility" if you want to talk more about that theory, xSorawuver. But nonethless I think that it would be great to add to the series. Though I'm still curious on how SE is going to put in the "trust" part to KH3D. I starting to think that it's not just focused on Sora and Riku who will be put to trust in KH3D.
