KH3D Dream Drop Distance's Ending

Didn't Nomura say the ending will shock people? What do you think the ending might be? We'll probably be way off, but it could be fun to theorize.

I made a thread about this less than 5 days ago. Like I said either someone will die or we'll see the return of a villian (Vanitas). But I think I'm wrong.

I think that the ending will show how X is back to his original form and that Sora and Riku pass the Exam. They go out of Yen Sid's castle and find the world torn with tear marks on the sky and floors. They leave that world and go to Destiny Island. Once there, they find X holding Kairi in a ritual type of way putting darkness into her. They try to stop her but Vanitas's spirit stop them. You then have to fight Vanitas's spirit. Maybe for a minute or so, then it shows X disappearing and leaving kairi there on the floor. Vanitas's Spirit also vanishes as Sora and Riku go to Kairi. Sora says," Kairi! Are you ok?!" She opens her eyes and starts choking both Sora and Riku holding them by their necks. She releases a dark wave and blows both of them into the water. Kairi says," If you wish to help Kairi, then come find us in Radiant Garden." She disappears into darkness and Sora and Riku get to shore. Riku says to Sora," Sora... we have to save Kairi." Sora says," I know... I won't lose another friend to darkness." They both disappear into light heading to Radiant Garden. Once there Radiant Garden has been destroyed and burned down. Sora and Riku walk to the center of the main square and find a dark shadow floating over Kairi. The shadow turns around as Vanitas's spirit appears. Sora and Riku both take out their Keyblades (well appear magically). Vanitas's Spirit fuses with the shadow releasing a powerful wind that blows Kairi towards Sora. Flash backs goes back to KH1 when kairi got blown by the door in the island flying towards Sora. He catches her and puts her down as the wind settles. Floating down from the darkness comes Vanitas. Sora gets his keyblade and stabs the ground releasing light. Riku covers his eyes as the screen goes blank. Sora is shown in the hall where Ventus lies sleeping. He turns around and sees him. Sora says," Roxas?!" He runs to him and looks at him. Sora gets a little dizzy as an orb of light flies out of his chest slowly. The orb of light floats around Ventus and enters his heart. A blinding light shines as Sora falls to the ground. Sora rub his eyes and looks at Ventus who is standing up looking at the ceiling. " Looks like you grew up Sora." Ventus turns around and smiles at Sora. " Remember me?" Epic Title Change to Kingdom Hearts III.

i think that kairi will go after them not wanting to be left behind and somehow i think by the help of namine she ends up in the realm of darkness and finds aqua and aqua teaches her to wield a keyblade because aqua is too week after the many years in the darkness and kairi learns how and save aqua and aqua brings her to radiant garden to find out her truth

We only know that Ven is in Sora's heart. We don't know if he's aware of anything while he's in Sora, since he's sleeping. If he was aware, it would have been him talking to Sora in KH1 in the station of awakening instead of Mickey(that's a mistake on Nomura's part lol), but we'll just have to see when Ven wakes up.

I think the shocking ending will be something like after fighting Xehanort (Apprentice one), he splits into Terra and Master Xehanort, and while Terra collapses on the ground, tired and in pain, MX disappears into a corridor of darkness, or something. There's also the chance Ventus and Aqua might be saved in the ending of KH3D too. I'd love to see the BBS trio in 3-D, honestly.

 

And as for that quite lengthy and detailed description VanitasRemnent wrote of what he thought would be the shocking ending... well, that's just epic. There are a couple of things that don't make sense though. I do like the end where Sora meets Ventus, but instead of cutting off to a screen that says "Kingdom Hearts III", it should just go straight to "Simple and Clean" playing during the credits. That'd be awesome!

I think Master Xehanort will make a famous come back [britney Spear's like] with two other masters, Vanitas + Terra [with the fusion with xehanort fusion sprite]. After Sora and Riku's disagreement (Riku has become a master, Sora didn't) they finally retrieve each other, but Terra finish by stealing Riku's heart [Don't see it as BL], waking up Ven by the same occasion, in front of Aqua eyes.

It IS a very believable scene. The whole time i was reading over this, I could imagine it playing in my head. For a second there I thought you were extremely accurate. It sounded as if you had played the game already. Well done! ^^

One thing i've noticed is Terra has a lot of similarites with Riku. They're personalities are very alike. Do you think Terra would turn out like Riku did in 358/2 days with the darkness? (Not counting Riku's dark form in BBS with "Roxas")

Hopefully Sora and his little goody two shoes die,or the organization comes back,better than ever!better yet, why not a tribute group to orgnization 13,like a society 13,the loved ones of the fallen members come out of te shadows and come to.....I've been reading to many fanfiction.

 

How about Sora,Riku,and Kairi die,the organization comes back,along with Terra,Aqua,and Ventus
