There are three forms of Japanese that the Japanese people speak, read, and write. Those are Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. I should know since I myself am learning to read and speak Japanese.

I don't even know. I though japan had 1 language which is japanese.

nope there are multiple like nihongo and katakana

umm, isn't "nihongo" japanese for "japanese language"? (I think)

Anyway there's katakana, which is usually used for foreign words and names; hiragana, which is more or less the japanese alphabet; and there's kanji, which is words like "light" "darkness" "world" "love" "friends" etc. (failed at explaining kanji)
