Cricket 1,180 Posted February 21, 2011 I love reading romantic manga and I feel like I've read all of them... ._. So, does anyone know of any? 8D And can you please just tell me the name or link me? Thanks, and please don't list Fruits Basket or Ah My Goddess! I know those are popular but yeah <.< So thank you and if you are helpful enough maybe I'll throw in some rep if I haven't given one already. Thanks ^^

CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted February 22, 2011 You dont have to repay me in rep (even though you have already haha) but I'd be more than happy to second... Chobits (its fairly mature but never really becomes overtly sexual infact chastity and true love are some of its main themes) & Card Captor Sakura (I know its mostly a magical girl manga and even though the main characters are children they do have mature behaviours in regards to love, but theres wonderful romantic subplots which especially becomes the focus in the series for the later half) I cant really think of any others atm and I apologise for my CLAMP biase haha

Haruhime 6 Posted February 25, 2011 Fall in Love Like a Comic is a good one, only two volumes and really good. My favourite one is Sand Chronicles though, it's a really amazing love story with a deep plot. Gentlemen's Alliance Cross is also a good romance-y manga. I can't think of many more, but if I do I'll update my post!
Rosie 3 Posted February 25, 2011 I have a soft spot for Dengeki Daisy. http://manga.animea.net/dengeki-daisy.html It's very cute, and very funny, and is still ongoing. It's got a few twists, and develops pretty well. And, by extension, there's also Beast Master by the same mangaka- ( http://manga.animea.net/beast-master.html ) it's equally cute and silly and often equally sad, but that one has a little more gore to it and... well, the representation of the love interest might be uncomfortable in some bits, but it's lovely at the end. That one's shorter, and all finished.
RoxAs Is Wise 7 Posted February 25, 2011 I'm not romance manga person but even I can give you a few tips: -Otomen http://www.mangafox.com/manga/otomen/ (It's about a boy who love girly things (though not gay) but fall in love with a boyish, naive girl. His girly things is a secret behind the cloak of 'perfect school guy' image while his friend secretly making him inspiration for his own romance manga and basically the comedy goes there, but it's really heartwarming, I think. -Saiunkoku Monogatari http://www.mangafox.com/manga/saiunkoku_monogatari/ Takes place in kingdom age, this girl is chosen to accompany a spoiled emperor in order to that emperor discipline himself. More developed to morale of government-ing at the end, but still full of romance in the beginning, and full of bishounen, for sure -Takkoku!!! http://www.mangafox.com/manga/takkoku/ Well this is more to shounen romance actually, mixed well with sports-comedy. It is basically when Japan has a law that to go out with someone you love, you gotta win a ping pong match first. The main character is a unique guy who have to travel the world and when he comes back to confess to the girl he told to be waiting, this law exist, and he sucks at ping-pong. There's more of that actually, but this should be enough as synopsis.
