Why Vanitas may return

I got a thery as to why Vanitas may return. Well if Xehanort needs him or somthing he could just extract Ven`s heart with Sora`s darkness to make him again. PLUS it would make more sence as to why Vanitas looks like Sora or why Sora looks like Vanitas lol

The reason why sora and vanitas look like each other because when Ven was comatose and taken to Destiny Islands, Sora was just being born. While his heart was forming and going to his body, he healed Ventus's heart. Since Vanitas was still strongly linked with Ventus, his appearance became that of an older Sora.

Eh, while I think he will be back I don't think Nomura hasn't considered it before. He's a popular character so it makes sense that Nomura would find a way to bring him back

 

That being said he probably wont return through Xehanort's power, I don't see why Xehanort would still have use for him, it would probably more of an independent return such as fighting him in Sora's mind. He needs to be looked at as a considerable threat on his own, not some leverage for Xehanort to use against Sora

My thoughts exactly. I mean, Xehanort's already tried his hand with Ven and Vanitas, and they failed, so it only makes sense that he would find someone else.

 

However, it is more likely that he will return through Sora's quest to save Ven, seeing as to repair his heart, he needs to bring back Vanitas.

it could be since ven's heart is now made up of pure light that vanitas has to return since ven isn't like a princess of heart and he can't be like a princess of light since both light and dark have to be in balance with one another and the princess are the only exception to that rule.

He could be like roxasman said, except completely discluding Ven's involvement. In theory he'd be adapting his appearance from Sora and his personality from the darkness in Sora's heart as well as his connection to Ven's.

I doubt Vanitas will be making a return. He was defeated by Ventus and now he's gone.

However, I suppose Xehanort could create a new vanitas, so that idea is quite possible.

it could be just be that the only way to save Ven was to also save Vanitas. Or when Sora revived Ven Vanitas was also revived. I mean Vanitas is like half of Ven when you think of it
