roxaskeybladeart55 72 Posted February 15, 2011 I personally think it would be better to remain on the lower sytems, until KH3 comes out, since it would be kidna strange for a kh game to be on a handheld, and already have better graphics then kh2, and since the bbs engine looks great that would speed up production time for BBSV2, that is if it were to be put on the psp. also, since bbs isn't on the playstation store, and the NGP won't play UMDs, it wouldn't make much sense to put BBSV2 on a system that can't play the first one. Tsunamo 62 Posted February 15, 2011 I'd like to see a NGP installment of Kingdom Hearts, no doubt Square-Enix will catch route of that Japan wants the series on there, increasing the likelyhood of a Kingdom heart game making an appearance on the NGP. What's NGP? Next Generation Portable, basically the PSP2, it's just a prototype name for it (final name will probably be said at E3). It's a beast of a handheld. All Square enix are thinking of now is how much money they can get from this. Damn it. A KH for the NGP seems unlikely because Square would have to go through the trouble of making new, PS3 quality models. They've tried so hard to keep the PS2 look going, and it seems very unlikely we'll see a graphical upgrade until KH has been upgraded for, say, the PS3. Anyone else sick of buying new systems for every new freaking game!? i'm honestly with you on this one. i know SE is releasing games on different systems to appeal to a broader audience, but there are those, like me, who have been a fan from the beginning, and would like to play every game, but can't afford to dish out money for console after console. i've played KHI, CoM, and II on the PS2, and i was able to play CoM when it originally came out on the GBA. other than that, info and other stuff on all the other games i've gotten here at KH13, an the only videos i've watched on youtube were a walkthrough of ven's story on BBS, and the final battles with xion, and her following rejoining with sora from 358/2 days. watching videos isn't the same as playing the games. i'm sure i'm not the only one that would much rather play the game than watch some video on youtube. and i'm not trying to be a bitch about this, though i do agree, i sorta sound like it, but there's my long-winded 2 cents on this. J. Severe 1,137 Posted February 15, 2011 Oh, heavens no. There better not be a Kingdom Hearts game on the NGP until the next saga after the Xehanort Saga. I don't want to have to watch the walkthrough of an awesome game (which I've had to do with BBS, sadly, since I've yet to get a PSP. So jealous of those who have one! ) instead of playing it. If Square Enix really wanted to apply to its fans, they would release BBSV2 on PSP, one, because the last KH game that was on PSP was a best-seller and once people catch wind of a new game of the series coming to the PSP also, it would mean more money, and two, people would be able to just pick it up and go straight to playing it instead of having to raise up money to buy the system and THEN get it, which would delay the sales. BUT if Square Enix cares more about $$$, they could release it on NGP, have Nomura and others work hard to create a new engine and whatnot, further delaying not just that game but Kingdom Hearts III -- and I KNOW we all don't want THAT to get delayed any more. If SE made a KH game on the NGP AFTER KH3, in the next saga, which will probably be years later and when the NGP is actually affordable, they can just port the models from KH3 (if it's on PS3) to the NGP quickly, due to the system's similar graphical compatibilities, and go on from there.
