That most likely won't happen seeing that KH series doesn't have too big of an audience. So unless the franchise gets more famous and more recognizable, then nothing like that will happen.

Once upon a time, a friend of mine on another site told me about a podcast that said there would probably be one in 2010.

You know what year it is now, right?

 

My point is, even if you hear a bunch of rumors flying around about it, it won't be happening.

While a show might be cool, it might also suck if done wrong. It's probably better, for now at least, to not try one. Though it would be a good way to expand the history or future of the time line.

Mostly becuase it can go wrong, I think it s a great idea and can be done right. All Ic an say if if you want to see how bad it can get look at the legend of zelda cartoon. Personally I would LOVE a KH Anime if done rigth we can get more charater development, more questions and anwsers, and if done right a really good voice cast. As long as certian "Anime Studios" (I.E. 4kids,etc) don;t get their bloody hands n them,then I think it can be, and should be done right.

I would personally love a Kingdom Hearts Anime but they don't have enough time to make it. If they did Kingdom Hearts would be more popular and more people would buy it.

Right now Squares Main focus is making Kingdom Hearts games.

It's not huge, but it's not particularly small either. BBS is the best selling game on the PSP. The freaking PSP. Kingdom Hearts 1 has sold nearly as much as Super Mario Galaxy 2. They have enough of a following to warrant a show, but I'm not sure if the KH fanbase is a good target to make money on an animated series. That's what it comes down to after all, the potential to make money.
