KHBbS Master Xehanort's Plan

tutti frutti. This is mostly just a guess as to what Master Xehanort's overall plan, feel free to post your own theories, guesses, and opinions as to what his ultimate goal may really be.

 

One of my major thoughts is that MX may really be after the light for some event that he discovered during his travels, such as a threat that he may have discovered. Though I believe it was Kairi's grandmother that told the story about there being light within the deepest darkness (correct me if I'm wrong), and MX may have decided to take the risk of going into the darkness in correspondence of going to get the light. Besides his motives of the Keyblade War, X-Blade, and Kingdom Hearts, I find it hard to predict MX's ultimate motive.

 

Another theory of mine is that it's possible that MX may have enlisted others to weild the keyblade through the ceremony as another type of preparation for his goals, which may be to help the worlds receive the light. Since MX has already gone into the darkness, and has a pretty solid control over it so far, he may be close to reaching the light.

Hmm, well the realm of light is still relatively unknown to us. Sora managed to tap into it at the end of KHII, and he never really entered or embraced the darkness. From the KH games so far, we're to look at Xehanort as the most evil villain the KH universe has ever seen. Its hard to imagine him ever seeking the light through darkness, when we've seen first hand how Sora managed to enter the light. Its hard to say what Xehanorts plan is at this point, but your theory's pretty interesting.

Everyone wants the precious light, no? Heartless, people, villains, super villains, heroes; they all want it including Xehanort. Why do people want the light? It is what good happy things boil down to it, but honestly we really don't know and this peaked Xehanorts curiosity. If you look at the base sort of villain Xehanort is, he really is just a made scientist. So Xehanort is curios of something so he designs an experiment (keyblade war) and when afflicted with the power of darkness his goal becomes to rule the world. Simple a that.

Your theory is very interesting. But that's not what Master Xehanort actually wanted. He only wanted to obtain KH as well as the X-Blade and start a new keyblade war with his own eyes in order to see the results of what would happen afterwards. But he knew that he was getting old and that his time would soon come. So he decided to find a younger, stronger body in order to live longer to actually see the war happen.

That was only part of it. I still think there's something essential that were missing here. I guess well have to wait till KHIII to see what REALLY happened

I think that, basically, MX wants the power of Kingdom Hearts itself. If he somehow manages to control the power of Kingdom Hearts (which Xemnas almost did) then he gains the power to control light itself and all of the worlds.

This means that MX is pretty much unstoppable. He can destory worlds easily by casting them into darkness. Also, this way he can make sure he can never die by hopping into body to body, as he so chooses, because who's going to have the power to defy him.

Ansem seeker of darkness had a similar idea, I suppose. He was biding his time until he was able to take control of Riku and gain more strength, then he felt that he could use his new found powers to get into the realm of darkness and use KH for himself to make himself the ruller of all worlds.

It's possible that Xemnas just wanted to prove that Ansem the Wise was wrong and he was right. Also he wanted the power to control hearts and give himself a heart, which he believed would make him whole again.

Remember Kingdom Hearts 3 might be the end of the Xehanort saga but its not the end of the series. There could be a deeper part of his plan that will be revealed in a later game.
