i saw the ending in birth by sleep and it turns out terra is Xemnas but when u take out the X and rearange the letters u get Ansme but sora beat Ansme or did i spell his name wrong if not can someone clarify this 2 me

Yeah, Xemnas is in a way Terra. Since Xehanort merged his heart with terra's body and later became Apprentice Xehanort.

Apprentice Xehanort then stole Ansem's name, (Ansem was the apprentices's master)

That caused the Nobody and Heartless's original names to be Ansem, but they're really Xehanort's.

Xemnas is only partly Terra (his body) but yeah like the others said, Xehanort stole Ansem the Wise's name and Ansem SoD continued to use it while Xemnas used an anagram of it.

Okay, so when MX and Terra joined. Terra made it so that he and MX both lost their memories. This led to Terra's heart becoming Xehanort's heart. (Not to be confused with MX). Really, they are the same person. Due to Braig and MX's heart, Xehanort became evil dabbling in learning about darkness. He banished Ansem into the world of Nothigness and took his name. Then he became a heartless. (The heart that was taken to do so was MX's.) His Nobody gained Terra's/Xehanort's heart and memories. This gave Xemnas the ability to feel anger and other such negative emotions. So, ultimatly, Xemnas has Terra's body and his heart. Although, he has no memories of ever being Terra.

@rikunobodyxiii: It's proven fact that Xemnas has someone's heart inside of him. It's also fact that MX's heart was the one which Ansem the seeker of darkness was originated from. So, it is most likely Xehanort's. There are people who think that Master Eraque's heart is also inside of Xemnas, but that is theroy.

Actually, Xemnas didn't have Terra's heart. He only gained a few of Terra's memories. Which was why he had said "so sleep takes you yet again" in Days and why he always goes to the Room of Awakening to talk to his "friend" who we all know is Aqua. True, Xemnas has Terra's body, but he does not carry a heart since he is a nobody. So he never felt hate and rage, he only wanted to obtain KH along with hate and rage. The reason why he was only wanted to feel hate/rage was because of what Apprentice Xehanort remembered back when he was Terra. So it affected the nobody Xemnas when he came to being.

Yeah, people figured out the connection awhile ago. I assume there are people who have already said the facts, but I will lay out them once more.

 

You recall that Terra's body was taken over by Master Xehanort, and Terra's Spirit/Soul (However it is referred to) retaliated as the Lingering Sentiment in an attempt to regain control of what was rightfully his. Terra's fight with MX caused MX to end up having a temporary period of memory loss, and the explosion of the X-Blade teleported Terranort (The body of Terra who was inhabited by MX's heart) to Radiant Garden. Aqua then triggered back Terranort's memory who then engages her. At the end of their battle, Terra's heart starts putting up a fight, and MX struggles to keep control. MX then lifts up his Keyblade (I honestly thought it was Terra that was doing this) and stabs himself in an attempt to try and rid him of Terra's heart, but rather than succeeding in what he was trying to do, he ends up locking the memories of both of them and falls into the dark realm. Aqua then pursues to save him, but realizes that she can't and forces Terranort's limp body back to the realm of light.

 

Terranort, who takes on the name Xehanort, showing that Master Xehanort still holds control but doesn't have many memories about who he is (If he even had memories of anything other than his [Master Xehanort] name). Ansem the Wise took him in as his apprentice and did experimentations on his heart, which apparently started bringing back some of Terranort's memories. Eventually, Terranort managed to force Ansem into the Realm of Darkness, and took on his name and continued the studies on the Heart that Ansem had stopped. At some point, something caused him and the five other apprentices of Ansem (Braig, Dilan, Vexen, Aleaus, and Ienzo) to loose their hearts. He and the others then had their own Heartless and Nobody. Terranort's heartless (Ansem SoD [seeker of Darkness]) is encountered in Kingdom Hearts 1 obviously, his Nobody (Xemnas) in Kingdom Hearts 2 and as a secret boss in Kingdom Hearts FM. Xemnas carried some of Terra's memories, (Like KingdomHearts125 said above.) and also some or most of MX's memories. This is why he is looking for Ventus and frequently talks with Aqua's Armor (I am not sure exactly how Aqua's Armor talks to him, but some how it does) which is another way that he found out more about himself and his friends (in the Terra sense) which shows that he still had some of Terra (or feelings of Terra at least) inside of him.

In this interview, Tetsuya reveals a few things. One was that there was going to be quite a few games before KH3.

Another thing he said was that Roxas, Namine and XEMNAS are special nobodies. He has since then revealed that he was referring to having a heart inside of their bodies, so they can feel emotions. Roxas has Ventus'. Xemnas has Terra's and it's unknown who's heart Namine has or how it got there.

Anyone fight MF? It's Xemnas plain and simple, Xehanort and Terra seize to exist. The man who calls himself Xehanort does it on instinct, no other reason whatsoever. Hence not being able to recognize Braig at EndGame. That clear things up o.o?
