KHBbS Multiple Playable Characters in BBSV2

Hey how about making Kairi have a summon abilities like Yuna !?

I reckon it will take place at the same time as all of the other games. The secret ending of BBS shows Aqua talking to a man in the Organization coat (I reckon Ansen the Wise) and he says that Sora has already saved the worlds more than once. So it could take place at the same time as all of them.

 

The man is indeed Ansem and the scene apparently takes place a year after KH2. So this probably means that BBS2 will lead up to that moment and maybe show a little extra in the ending.

 

I think the main goal they have for this game is to explain everything that happened behind the scenes during the KH games. Nomura did say he needed to fully explain the KH backstory before he could make KH3 so that and 3D will probly sum it up.

I see 2 possibilities:

 

1. The game is comprised of numerous disjointed short stories that serve to fill in every remaining hole in the series before KH3. The sky's the limit on playable characters in that case, literally anyone could get a chapter to him/herself set in any point of the timeline.

 

2. A game set near completely in the Realm of Darkness. Meaning only characters that were in there for an extended period of time are viable. For that I vote Aqua, Mickey & Apprentice Xehanort.

I think the first one you said is most likely to happen. the 2nd one can happen too, but i can see the 1st one more. I can see us playing a few chapters as Aqua in the RoD, then some chapters as Mikey, then some as Riku at what he was doing during 358/2 Days and a little of where he was in Kingdom Hearts 2.

I chose Aqua. I'm just so curious about what happens to her next, after getting herself GG'ed into the Realm of Darkness. I want to know more about her and her story as much as I can.

I think that Kairi will be a playable character someday. I don't know if it'll happen in BbSV2, but I think she'll be a fighter eventually. Especially since in the Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded Ultimania interviews (I think), Nomura kept stressing that even though Kairi has a Keyblade, she won't be going with Sora and Riku when they take the Mark of Mastery.

 

I may be interpreting that differently than other people, but to me that sounds like he has something else planned for her. I mean, if Kairi using Destiny's Embrace was only a one-time thing, why would he even talk about her and her Keyblade? A lot of times writers, if they do something once with no intent of it happening again, pretend certain things never happened. An example of this is how on Smallville Lex had a half-brother named Lucas in one episode. But he was never mentioned in any other episode.

 

Also, Nomura did go to the trouble of showing when Aqua accidentally performs the Rite of Succession on Kairi. There has to be a reason for that, right?

I gotta say Roxas because, I played a similar version of Mickey in 358/days and wellllll, I wasn't impressed, Aqua,Terra and Ven HAVE to be in BBSV2 because, well, they WERE the main characters in BBS, soooo yea. Plus, Kairi IS kind of weak. If you see how she fight in KH2 in the small scene, she IS kind of weak. Plus, Roxas RULEZ! GO Roxy

Did Mickey have bad gameplay in Days? I never unlocked him. I only know what it's like to play him in KH2.

 

I believe Aqua will be a playable character, but I don't know about Ven and Terra. If people are right about the timeline of the game, Ven and Terra won't be available to play.

kairi!!! i would love to play as kairi! And i think that Destiny's Embrace suits her. There has to be a connection between her and that keyblade. Seeing that she gave it to Aqua and Riku gave it to kairi.
