Organization XIII: Sora and Ventus

I just noticed something very odd.

 

In the opening moments of Chain of Memories, an organization member appears to Sora and tells him:

 

"Along the road ahead lies something you need. However in order to claim it you must lose something that is dear to you."

 

Xemnas is well aware that Ventus is somewhere deep in Castle Oblivion, but could he be aware of the bond that Sora and him share?

It was Marluxia. He was talking about Namine, which was all apart of his plan to control him.

Don't get me wrong, that is a good theory, however, there just are a few things to consider. First off, I'm sure you are well aware that was Marluxia, even before you got responses from this, that's the way I saw it anyways. What you said was very true about Xemnas knowing about Ventus being in Castle Oblivion, but I'm not sure whether he knew about the connection between Ventus and Sora. However, it may be possible that he did know about the connection, considering Roxas. Considering the fact that Roxas looks exactly to Ventus (Or very very similar, I don't remember if there were a few small details that didn't match about them), Xemnas might have put 2 and 2 together and figured out that there was a connection between Sora and Ventus. Also, if I remember correctly, it was with in Xemnas' original intentions to wipe Sora of his memories and let them drift to Xion so that she could become a pure Replica of Sora and fully mimic his powers over the Keyblade so that the Organization could fully pursue its quest for Kingdom Hearts and also absorb Roxas' power in the process, but I don't remember if there was another reason for leading Sora to Castle Oblivion as well, other than Marluxia's plot to use him to overthrow the Organization.

Good point, I dont actually remember Marluxia being confirmed as the figure he met on the road but then again it was a looong looong time ago when I played CoM

Well, if you watch the Re:Com cutscenes, that scene get's voiced, and it is Marluxia who voices the mysterious figure at the beginning, so that's basically the confirmation, I'll even put up a link

And... The orginal plan was to make him vexen, zexion and the others look for ventus in the "room of awakening" But no one could find him. So why not lure sora to castle oblivion, make namine change his memories, and put those memories inside Xion. But that wasnt the case, because sora forgot, xion remembered but when marluxia was defeated and half the organization was defeated by sora and riku, didnt xion start halucinating about kairi and sora and then riku found her to look just like kairi which is why he protected her..... But still she held the power xemnas needed and it didnt matter if it was her or roxas that he needed to aquire kingdom Hearts, but he wouldve used either of them to also defeat sora, which is what roxas kinda did but it wasnt for the orginization it was more out of his own will. And it took place in soras heart. Now I have to ask, does everyone remember Xion again? (because I thought after re:coded there was this memory data sora took on including xion and VTA and that memory i figured traveled to the real sora). Is the real sora gonna meet xion? or is she just in his memories? and what about ventus? Is he gonna come back as a full person?

Actually, the CO group was sent there for Axel to weed out the traitors and get rid of them. Finding the room Ven is in was Axel's side mission. Nobody actually knew Ven was there.

yeah but would that apply to roxas too i mean he is sora's nobody and since he fused with sora like xion maybe he can't return as well

Unless Sora becomes a Heartless again, then no, Roxas won't come back. And the only time I can see him becoming a Heartless again is when he frees Ven's heart to bring him back. But then, without the presence of Ven's heart, it wouldn't be the same Roxas. It would be one that looked like Sora and had no heart at all, unlike the Roxas we know who had Ven's heart and because of that, looked like him.
