ok today i am officially pissed off at X-Play first when they said the name they were like "Re:Collin Re:Conded what ever the hell it is called!

what does Coded even mean?"

X-Play is a show on G4 that talks about video games obiously

they say that "even the biggest kh fan will be dissapointed" and "the graphics are bad but it gets the job done" they also said "we like some parts of the games but it is deffinitly better than the other kh game for the ds" and also "dont get too excited this is NOT kh3 its been like what 5 years since the 2nd one? Square is putting too much fillers in it"

"its the same concept and same exact story and worlds" and "when Jiminy finds the book instead of going to look in there themselfs they rather have a amnesia Sora doing all the dirty work"

There are probably 10 errors in that review. 2 that pissed me off was that they though it was the excact same story and that they called Data-Sora an "Amnesia Sora".

Boy i wish i could smack them re:coded wasn't a god damn filler god they just messed up the rest of my day and i'm out of school they only kh game that wasn't really nessary was Re:chain of memories cause it was just a remake of the first chain of memories which was on gba the only reason they remade it was cause of the fact that not many people played the first chain of memories

Ugh... I hate it when people say that. There ARE no KH fillers! Each game is important to the storyline! For example, Coded tells of what was in that letter at the end of KH2, as well as showed what Sora has to do in future games, and its secret ending gave us even more information, about

! I despise people who just look at a game that's not Kingdom Hearts III and say that it's useless. It really ticks me off. Sighs... I kind of hope KH3 never comes because all those jerks will get their wish. Oh well... at least they won't understand what the heck is going on, unlike us real fans who pay attention to each game, main or not.

it's a review. it's just an opinion. get over it. they have their opinion of it, you have your opinion of it. just because X-play didn't like every aspect of a KH game and worded their review to show that doesn't mean you have to stop watching it.

do you have like a link to the vid or the vid itself. you know whats going to suck when KHDDD (Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance) comes out for the 3DS they will probably say the same thing like they have with this game birth by sleep and days that its no KH3 and that even though it will rock they will probably still say its a filler game even though it will lead to KH3 thats what i hate about x-play but what can you do about it

I stopped playing KH ReCoded. I would give it 7.5 out of ten. I just stopped playing it becauseni haven't really had ti,e to play it. I love it. School gets in the way of me playing it

I hate reviews like this. they don't even play KH. They said the same Amnesia thing for Roxas on 358/2 days, I think.

"Roxas is pretty much Sora with Amnesia" was the first thing they said and I stopped right there.

I just wish someone would make a GOOD review on it.

Bah! What, do they expect? BbS like graphics on a freakin' DS game? The game-play looks exactly like 358/2 Days, which was and is amazing for a DS game; and the CGI cutscenes are of even higher quality than 358/2 Days, which was again amazing for the DS. I am a big KH Fan, and I can say that except for the camera, I am not disappointed. Sure the story wasn't what you would call "good", especially by KH standards, but I enjoyed it all the same. And better than the "other KH game for the DS"? I am sorry, no. 358/2 Days had an immensely better story, and even if the battle system wasn't as good, the rest of 358's game-play was better than Re:coded. Re:coded did have somethings over Days, ala Stat Matrix, Overclock Abilities, and the unique game-play for some parts of the game. Re:coded is sure as heck not better than Days, but I would say it is fair to call them equal. Finally, since they started with that KH III crap, I automatically cannot take them seriously. I will not to take anyone who starts complaining about that seriously. I think I will stop there, as I have no response what so ever to "Re:colin".

WOW g4 used to be really good, i used to like them, but now theyve gotten really obnoxious, and would rather review games like Mass Effect 2 then kingdom hearts. They don't seem to understand Kingdom hearts re: coded/ coded is actually a key role in the storyline and sets the stage for the next game. Sure if you haven't played any of the other games, then you won't understand it all, but thats the thing atleast play it and you might actually like it alot more than you thought.

Like 95% of the game is stuff taken from earlier games, the only really relevant bits are a couple of cutscenes that you just as well watch on youtube. Yes, the game IS filler!

Honestly, I hate when people write reviews when they actually don't like the games in the series. Even if it looks cartoonish, these animations are high quality. Next time, they should triple-re-read the story to make sure they understand it.

X-Play is always rough on the KH series. All they care about are FPS's.

Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb get paid a fourtane for saying all of these negetive things about Kingdom Hearts. Sure there big KH critics. The best rating they gave a KH game was a 4 out of 5. They actually didn't say too many negative things about Kingdom Hearts 2. I remember the 358/2 Days review they said that if you try to explain the story to you're friend they'll be real confused and for newcomers you won't know what the hell is happening if Days is your first game. And i'm sure fans have spamed Sessler's inbox with millions of emails asking "when is Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out?". Last year on a episode of X-Play Adam said: for all of you asking when Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming out we don't know. If Square even gave out the smallest peep of information we would tell you. I also remember another episode when they were talking about some expensive Nintendo game. Morgan Webb said "that's enough money to make Sessler strip naked and play Kingdom Hearts". Really the only game these guy's are interested into are FPS, Call of Duty, basically games that are rated M. These guy's really annoy me with their KH reviews but what can you do? They even say negative things about Kingdom Hearts when their not reviewing the game.

tutti frutti. X-Play is from a totally different groups of peoples opinions about a game. I for one never rate a game based on their review, if anything I watch the show for any news concerns upcoming games, consoles and all that. That aside, to me the only thing that I thought was kind of iffy about KH re:coded was the storyline. For a DS version of a KH title, I thought the graphics were great, and I didn't find anything wrong with the gameplay or music, or even the worlds(besides the same Disney ones being brought back who knows how many times now). To me the only real thing that I didn't care for too much was the story, which the only thing that I found important, story-wise, was the secret ending. Though I didn't care for it as much as the rest of the series overall, I though re:coded was a solid game for the DS.
