KH2 About Rikus cloak

Recommended Posts

Just something random I thought of just now.

At the end of KH2, when Rik whips off his cloak, we're supposed to assume he was just wearing his clothes underneath.

But how did he change his shoes? And for that matter, how did he keep his shoes inside much smaller shoes?

Looking at what happened when Riku and Mickey took off their Cloaks, it can be supposed that the cloak has magical properties that change the clothes under it. Also, when Riku got the cloak in ReCom, it was only the cloak and not pants or boots.

I don't think the look would get the whole effect if Riku had on his mysterious cape and blindfold thing if he was also wearing tennis shoes. Not even black tennis shoes. That, or he's an amazing quick change artist. :)

Duh. When he throws the coat and it momentarily blacks out the screen, it was a sneaky cut by Square Enix. They took out the scene where Riku performs a naughty striptease before pulling his "normal" outfit on in a rush. Hence why he forgets to zip up the bottom of his shirt correctly, because he put it on too quickly. It, regrettably, didn't make the final cut of the game, but reappears as a secret hidden scene in the Final Mix version, if you beat the game 100 times on the hardest mode, with 100% completion each time, and then physically throw yourself into the screen screaming "yabbadabbadoodaa" at the top of your lungs.

It's a well kept secret. Don't go telling everyone.
