KH3D Just thought of something about the Sora and Riku fight theory

Right, so people have been theorizing that Xemnas and Ansem are actually Sora and Riku, and they fight each other. For a long while I didn't believe this theory, but I jsut thought of something.

Remember the old mirror world theory? People figured the world was reversed in 3D because Sora's keyblade was backwards.

When Xemnas and Ansem are shown, they are back to back. and Sora and Riku are both facing them.

So what if Sora's world IS reversed? Riku and Sora could be fighting each other.

I dunno, just something I thought, I still don't think they'll be flighting each other.

It makes sense and would be interesting if that were true, but i agree that they won't be fighting each other. Maybe Sora and Riku are fighting Xemnas and Ansem in parallel Traverse towns that are somehow different but occurring at the same time. Maybe they are both in digital dreams that are their own but overlap. Who knows, the kingdom hearts story is convoluted enough already.

But theory of Sora and Riku fighting each other could still be possible.

They did it in Days when Roxas was in Halloween Town fighting the Orcus Heartless, then it turned out to be Xion.

yes it all makes sense in T/A M of M exam they had to fight . so maby yen sid knew sora and riku would never try to kill each other so he made sore appear to be ansem to riku and make riku appear to be xemnas to sora

Mm, not too sure about that. Mark of Mastery exam's "not a test of power, but a test of heart." (Or that's close to what Master Eraqus said in BBS.)

I read the theme for KH3D is trust, so maybe the mark of mastery exam is a test for how much Riku and Sora can trust one another, and the apperances of Xemnes and Ansem is part of the exam.

My theory was that although it looks like they are fighting heartless and such during the game, but every confrontation with an enemy Sora and Riku are actually fighting each other.

 

This would make life so much easier if you were to switch characters mid battle. Then the area in which you were as Riku, is the same area that you are now in Sora.

There's only one problem, Sora and Riku are facing the same direction. If you take a close look at the trailer, you'll see that Sora is facing Xemnas in the same direction that Riku is facing Ansem SoD. They're both facing the fountain in the Second District, so they can't be facing eachother. Also, to me it looks more like Xemnas and Ansem SoD are in the exact same spot, facing the same direction. And they alternate in transparency. First Xemnas is transparent, then Ansem SoD.

Interesting. I used to think this, but I don't agree with this theory. the theme of the game is TRUST. Wouldn't be most Trusty.

That's what I thought, until I remembered the flipped world theory. If teh world was flipped, Sora would be o the other side of that building ('Inside' the building) and vice versa for Riku.

Granted, somebody just pointed out Sora's not reversed anymore.

Though now that somebody brought up Orcus. It's not like Xion flew around with a floating keyblade or anything, so I guess the same thing could apply to Sora and Riku here (They just can't see each other)

Personally, I still think it'll be about defeating Xemnas and Ansem simultaneously.
