About Dream Drop Distance. So, I'm guessing we all saw the clips from BBSFM secret episode, right? And in it Sora and Ventus dissapear(spellcheck?). And that got me thinking...

 

Dream: What if Xehanort came back already without anyone noticing and kidnapped Sora? And what if he did something kinda like what DiZ did to Roxas, put him into a kind of dream. That could explain why Sora and Riku are in their KH I clothes and why so many Sora's fell from the sky.

 

Drop: This links back to my theory about the word "Dream". Maybe the only way for Sora to get out of this dream-like state is for Xehanort to be defeated? You know, like make Xehanort fall for the last time, and since dropping and falling are basicaly the same thing I think that might be it.

 

Distance: This one is mainly for Riku, maybe to defeat Xehanort Riku had to enter Sora's "Dream". And since it looks like there's gonna be a lot of worlds in 3D(well to me anyway) that would be a long distance to travel.

 

I'm probably wrong, but what do you guys think? I could see Nomura pulling something like that.

Also, I doubt they would do that for 3D, as 3 will be the end of the Xehanort Saga, and 3D is the Mark of Mastery exam. My theory is that Yen Sid put Sora and Riku to sleep to take the exam. He manipulates their dreams to test them.

Um, we never even saw one clip of Ventus make a cameo appearence in the Dream Drop Distance trailer, not even once. And we didn't see Sora "dissapear" from anywhere.

Yen Sid already stated that Xehanort will return. Plus, Xehanort doesn't even know about Sora, nor has he met him. So there's no way Xehanort could have kidnapped Sora.

First of all, DiZ didn't put Roxas in a dream, he put Roxas into a simulated Twilight Town.

 

Second of all, I really think that ot wilk all just be an illusion created by Yen Sid as a part of Sora and Riku's Exam. Just like what he did with Mickey in BBS.

Well, it`s unlikely that Xehanort will be defeated for good in DDD. Remember, Nomura said that KH3 will be the end of the "Xehanort Saga", so that means that we wiln still see more of Xehanprt in future KH games (most likely KH:DDD and BBSV2).

You may want to re-read that part. He was talking about the BBSFM secret ending, not 3D.

Interesting. Nomura already explained it's supposed to mean: "The distance you drop in your dreams" or "How far yu fall into your dreams" and admits the english grammar is incorrect. and also, he says Drop has to do with the Drop bar.

If you knew everything about the game, there would be no point for a theory.

I don't think that apprentice xehanort would be able to kidnap Sora. Remember, keyblade weilders are really strong so you can't really expect someone like Sora to be kidnapped so easily by the hands of a scientist such as Apprentice Xehanort.
