ObsidianEagle 103 Posted January 28, 2011 The plate on the back is a touch-pad isn't it? While this is a technically superior machine, the lineup and 3rd party support seems less than stellar. The 3DS's capabilities are closer to the X-Box (Not 360) BTW, not the PS2. i think they only have to 2 touch bads on the sides, not the back. you're saying the line-up isn't good, but the console got announced yesterday lol, i'm pretty sure more people will get games for this (especially with touch controls). FireStorm 162 23 Posted January 28, 2011 Wait, so does this meanour UMD's are gonna be obselete (smart word, hells yeah) once the PSP2 comes out? Because that'll suck, what'll happen to my BBS and my Dissidia/Duodecim D: Is there gonna be like a way to transfer the info from the UMD to just on the Memory Card, or will it just have to gather dust in the game cover........ If my UMD's become redundant (another smart word, double hells yeah), then I will be very dissapointed in Sony, very dissapointed indeed
ObsidianEagle 103 Posted January 28, 2011 UMDs have been redundant for a while. i'm sure there is (or will be) some way to transfer a UMD into a memory card or PSP2 hardrive though

The 3DS was announced with new games, and a few upgraded ports. Sony was basically like 'Look at us! We can fit graphics on a portable!' obviously there WILL be more real games and such, but it seems right now they're more focused on porting games. I wouldn't be surprised if we see games from every company you listed above ported onto the PSP2. They did the exact thing with the PSP, porting PS2 games. But that's the problem, why would I go for ports of games that have been out forever? Sure, there's the added benefit of portability, but considering the battery life (On both systems) that seems to be becoming unimportant.Like I said, I'll probably buy this at some point, but right now, the 3DS is loaded with games, and such (And the likely choice for future KH titles, as I've said many times, Square probably won't upgrade their graphics till KH3) but all Sony ever talks about is their graphical capabilities. But seriously, the lineup for the 3DS looked fantastic at launch. The PSP2 has been underwhelming. Sony should have brought out big guns at the announcement, showing new games, or something. ObsidianEagle 103 Posted January 28, 2011 hatok, those were all just demos to show popular games on the new console. it has already been anounced that original releases by sega, square enix, activision, and more will be avaliable for the PS3

ObsidianEagle 103 Posted January 29, 2011 @ ocelot, i agree, even though the NGP was only announced a few days ago, it already has the potential of a better line-up than the 3DS

Deadshot 666 Posted February 1, 2011 Sony could have learned that not man people bought ps3 when the price was high so i think hightest i will be is 400$,I think it will be around 300$
hatok 6,413 Posted February 1, 2011 Sony will probably sell the NGP without a profit, so they can sell it cheap. Though the lack of disks should make it cheaper as well.
Shadowrider 1 Posted February 1, 2011 Why buy one, I mean really, even if BBSV2 came out on it, I wouldn't waste my time with it. It might be fun, but I don't need every KH game there is. (Though I do have most of them) I'm sticking with getting the 3DS, it seems really good.
