Kingdomxhearts15 0 Posted January 23, 2011 During the Blank Points part of BBS, when Terra and Xehenort are fighting over control of Terras heart, Terra convinces Xehenort that he will succeed in winning back his heart. Although not totally convinced, Xehenort says that even if he DOES win back his heart he has a "back-up plan" (those aren't the exact words he uses but thats the jist of it). Anyway, could this "back-up" plan be Riku? He is the most likely to succeed to darkness..so that's kind of my thoughts/theory on this.
Kinode 3,056 Posted January 23, 2011 Interesting. He says Terra is just one of many roads he might take. No, Xehanort probably hasn't a clue about Riku, But Xehanort just might Take Aqua, Ven, or at this point, even Sora, once he knows about him. Or maybe, with memories of Ansem SoD and Xemnas, he might realize Riku is the easiest way to get a powerful, young body of a Keyblade wielder of Darkness. I really never thought about it, but you might be right.

I'm pretty sure the "many roads" that Xehanort will not involve using Riku in any way. Heck, Xehanort does not even know about Riku and his power of using darkness. Besides, Riku pretty much can handle darkness more maturely than Terra could. And also the fact that Riku uses both light and darkness and can control them equally. So it's too unlikely for Riku to end up being used again unlike what happened in KH1.

khoathkeeper13 429 Posted January 23, 2011 I actually made a theory about this. Anyone wondered why Vanitas just so happened to be on the islands? I kinda thought Xehanort had Vanitas plant some of his darkness (if that's possible) into someone from his old home world so, if needed, he could use them to obtain a new body. (look back about a page in this section for all my long, rambling explanation about this is too lazy to re-explain )

(look back about a page in this section for all my long, rambling explanation about this is too lazy to re-explain ) It's possible. That was Xehanort's home at one time and he might have sent Vanitas to go see if there was someone else like him on the islands. On the main point: I think that it Master Xehanort might have known about Riku's existence and that he was keyblade wielder material and had a plan in him. If this plan exists, I think it is now useless against Riku. He has dealt with someone trying to posses him before and now he is more powerful and back with his friends. Kingdomxhearts15 0 Posted January 23, 2011 Does Xehenort have the memories from his heartless and nobody? If so, his Heartless was able to plant darkness in Riku and ultimately possess him. So maybe that's how he will take over Riku again. Riku may be able to control the darkness, but Master Xehenort is something Riku has never faced. DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted January 24, 2011 no i dont think so cause remeber riku is in the twilight zone which means he's not in light or dark and if i recall xehenort only likes complete darkness Remember, this was before he wlaked the road between. And if I recall, Xehanort kept talking about light and darkness in equal amounts, and, as he wrote in his report, wanted to create that sort of world: One where Light and Darkness hung in eternal balance. (I don't know if that's really his exact words. If not, shoot me. )
