King Riku 2,063 Posted January 22, 2011 Yeah it happens when I'm trying to sleep. I'm like half asleep and I think I fell out of my bed, so I really fall out of my bed trying to get up.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted January 23, 2011 I've have it all the time. But it happens when I dream that I'm kicking something,or falling of a clift or falling to the floor. It's kind of fun until your leg twitches to hard and you end up hitting the ged edge. But when it's a nightmare the small attack along with a punch to the bed wakes me up.
Cricket 1,180 Posted January 23, 2011 It happened to my boyfriend when we were taking a nap the other day, all of a sudden his whole body twitched and his arm hit me in the face and I was like WTH!? He apologized over and over but he said some guy was trying to fight him in his dream and he got hit or something....anyway, I've had that happen to me too. I would just be laying there and half asleep when all of a sudden I get a twitch in my arm or legs and then sometimes wake myself by my whole body twitching lol it's kinda funny but annoying... But then I realize I was in the middle of my bed. ._. It happened to me also at school once. I felt like I was falling out of my desk once for some reason.... ._. RoxSox 3,593 Posted January 24, 2011 It happens to me in a nightmare... right before something bad happens, I just feel this surge through my body, and I open my eyes to see myself sitting up in bed, sweating, with two handfuls of blanket clenched in my fists. Antrium 10 Posted January 24, 2011 It is known as "Hypnic Jerk" it affects over 70% of all people in the world and is just your brain sending signals to your limbs when you are dreaming. So that falling sensation is caused by a Pre-Signal when you are just about to go asleep.
