The End of the World is essentially all of the worlds destroyed by the darkness compiled together into one, hence, why you can see fragments of Castle of Dreams, Enchanted Dominion, and Dwarf Woodlands later on. I thought at first glance it was the castel of dreams, but noticed that the castle of dreams didn't have chains anywhere on it, at least from my perspective, while this castle did. This is mostly my own theory about the castle, but this could be where MX originally resided while contemplating his own plans to recreate the keyblade war along with the X-Blade, as well as any other crazy plans he may have. MX could have very well formulated some other group that may be revealed in the future, much like Organization XIII, which in turn could include the MF.
