However, I think it is safe to assume that it will not be a direct conversion of the Japanese price, as $300 is quite expensive for a handheld console, and is more expensive than the Wii was at launch. KeyOfVentus 90 Posted January 19, 2011 yea I am, just havn't been eating lunch at school the whole year and saving the money so i can get the 3DS, i want it for mario kart, KH, and Legend of Zelda Ocarana of Time 3D(YAY!) so i've already got enough for like...two 3DS'. it's a good stratagy. also if you and your friends feel like hanging out at the mall or something, ask your parents for some money, but something small and told them it was really expensive, save the oney for when you want to buy some insanely expensive handheld like the 3DS. Also i think it's safe to assue that it'll be close to 300 if not 300 b/c every consol and handheld haven't been too far off from the japanese value in convertion. This is so they get the same amount of money everywhere and don't loose money in some regions. I was thinking if I should watch the game on youtube or buy a 3DS and get it since its going to have new worlds. I'm leaning toward getting a job and getting it.
