Rob 5,571 Posted April 22, 2011 There are some actual facts about the game. What would that be other than what I mentioned about the Mark of Mastery being about trust? @Khrulesbbs You're welcome if I helped, and yes, the news has been dry for a couple months lol

Rob 5,571 Posted April 22, 2011 There used to be news updates weekly. Now nothing has been happening lately. Yes, the last news related to KH besides KH3D in January was Nomura doing something for PSN or something with Utada mentioned if I remember correctly. Tails 6,692 Posted April 22, 2011 Well, you have a really good theory. I mean, it could be possible seeing as SE loves to make references. So it could happen. But imo, I think they are illusions created by Yen Sid like I have stated before. @Reversal, nice to see you back my friend^^.

But how do we know he has that kind of power?
Tails 6,692 Posted April 22, 2011 I actually agree that they could be made by Yen sid. But how do we know he has that kind of power? Because he did the same illusion affect for Mickey back when he took the Mark of Mastery in BBS. So it would make much sense to have Yen Sid pull all this stuff off. So it would make much sense to have Yen Sid pull all this stuff off. Exactly. We do not know the extent of Yen Sid's power, but we do know some things he can do, and we also know that he is a retired Keyblade Master, which means he must be very strong. hatok 6,413 Posted April 22, 2011 I just thought of something. What if Yen Sids Mom test is Fantasia?
Azure Flame 670 Posted April 22, 2011 I just thought of something. What if Yen Sids Mom test is Fantasia? It's not. The MoM test is half of KH3D, and what we've seen, it seems they're either in a dream (hence the title) or they're in an illusion similar to Mickey's MoM test. But everything we've seen with Sora and Riku in there KH1 selves is the MoM test for them.
Tails 6,692 Posted April 22, 2011 You do know that this was made on January 18, right? lol Oh really? I totally didn't notice that. I thought she just randomly came back online lol.
KeybladeMasterBalo 504 Posted April 22, 2011 Well It's probable, but LOOK you guessed it so easily!!! I think Nomura it's preparing something even deeper than that, something more confusing. Also I think everybody is thinking that the mark of mastery exam it's too important and like in BBS it's not more than one little part of the game. Nomura confirmed it. So we don't know exactly what Nomura is planning. But I'm sure he's gonna surprise us, AS ALWAYS. 8D

Last I checked, the MoM test takes place during the first half of the game, but it's never said that it IS the first half. And I ask you this, why would Yen Sid opt for a much longer variant of the MoM test then Eraqus if the entire point of him doing it was to make Sora and Riku masters as fast as possible? It's true that it hasn't been stated, but it's almost implied, and makes the most sense given what we know. We know that the first half is the MoM, we know a little about how Yen Sid does his MoM exams, and we know that after, Sora and Riku get new outfits. So, with what we already know, it's safe to assume that what we've seen so far, is the MoM test. Especially since nothing else has been mentioned about the game. We don't even know what the last half of the game will be. Also, why would they tell us half of it is about the MoM, but don't tell us the other half, and then show us footage of the game if it wasn't what we were told about? Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted April 23, 2011 You guy's need to stop saying Mom for "Mark of Mastery" because I keep on thinking you're talking about well Mom.
Azure Flame 670 Posted April 23, 2011 You guy's need to stop saying Mom for "Mark of Mastery" because I keep on thinking you're talking about well Mom. It's alot easier than typing out Mark of Mastery each time we want to talk about it. Personally, I prefer MoM. I know it can be confusing.

Yeah, Nomura said that the MoM wouldn't take up the full game but he didn't say half. It could only last an hour gameplaywise for all we know. Mickey's MoM test? REALLY? We have no idea what Mickey's MoM involved. All we know is that he is a master.
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted April 23, 2011 I'm pretty sure Mickey has already took his MoM test. He's already a Keyblade Master.
Mog 97 Posted April 23, 2011 I'm pretty sure Mickey has already took his MoM test. He's already a Keyblade Master. I know that's what I'm saying, why would he be training under Yen Sid if he wasn't planning on taking a MoM and becoming master.

We have no idea what Mickey's MoM involved. All we know is that he is a master. Mickey's MoM exam was briefly shown in BBS. You know the part where mickey is riding a book on water? That was part of his exam. He left in the middle of his exam to help protect the worlds during BBS, and then went back to finish afterwards. As for the illusion, that was him riding a book on water. When he failed that part, it dissappeared and was revealed that he was in Mysterious Tower.

Also, just because this is the internet doesn't mean you can be a rude jackass and call me a troll for posting something you don't agree with. I am in no way, shape, or form, trolling. At least I try to be more polite and treat people with respect. You actually can't say that this was indeed Mickey's MoM, because it was never mentioned afterward. This could've been just training.Mickey ran off before he was to take the MoM, and after aiding Aqua in her battle against Venitas, gave Yen Sid back the Star Seeker and Star Shard, with his head down, ashamed for running away and thinking he failed, Yen Sid gives him back the keyblade with a nod, and Mickey holds it up high. So Yen Sid, after witnessing what Mickey did to help the keyblade trio, deemed him a worthy Master, hence giving him back the blade. This would seem the most plausible theory. In short, him helping TAV and the worlds was indeed his MoM.Still though, you were kinda trolling, no proof that Mickey was indeed engaged in the MoM at that particular time, as he could've easily been training. Would Mickey not have reacted hugely when he failed the book balancing, aka what you think was his MoM? If it was really his MoM, Mickey would've shown more emotion because he failed. After BBS was released, in an interview, Nomura stated that Mickey was taking the Mark of Mastery when he was in Yen Sid's tower riding the book on water. If you read it, then you would know.
