Can You Cook?

I believe the title is fairly self-explanatory.

 

Can you cook? Are your forced to do so, or do you actually enjoy it? Where'd you learn--Home Economics/FACS, a family member, or yourself?

 

I can cook, as I have often been forced to, lately.. >.> Everyone better get used to leftovers. 8D I learned a couple things in FACS, but mostly from my Mom and Grandma.

I can cook. Most of the stuff I "cook" though is things that you put in the microwave or toaster though 8D. But if you're not talking about microwave or toaster stuff, I've only cooked once before. I pretty much enjoyed cooking. I cooked bacon quesideas.

I learned to cook all alone, and I do awesome dishes. That pretty much states that I'm an awesome cook. I wanted to be a cook actually but I prefer psychology (seen as I would suck at cooking compared to others who have the talent).

I can cook, and i love it (best in my cooking class). just give me ingredients and i can make anything out of it.

 

really cooking is just common sense. if you give me onions, peppers, and some diced chicken, make fajitas, or chuck it all in a pan and make a stir-fry (if theres stuff to make some sort of sauce).

I do believe that I can cook pretty delicious food.

 

I've always been able to do the easy stuff, I mean anyone can cook hot dogs, or mac and cheese, baked apples.

But I never really got into cooking until high school, sophomore year to be exact. I needed an elective filler, so I took Food and Nutrition as my spot filler.

 

Little did I know how much I loved too cook.

 

I'm not sure if I want it to be my profession, but I do love cooking.

Instead of buying spaghetti sauce out of the can, I make my own now. I make cakes and cookies from time to time too. I make a good red velvet cake, and even better butter cookies. <3

 

Homemade pies, and something new I learned this year, empanadas (which really aren't difficult. )

 

I can make kickass chili too as well as my favorite dish to cook, chicken ceasar pasta salad--- as terrible as it may sound, it's actually very very good! I even make the dressing myself, and I include tomatoes, corn, and a few other veggies in it! Give me something, any recipe and I can do a pretty dang good job.

 

I once had to cook for my family when my mom was sick in the past year. Everyone liked my cooking except my picky eldest sister who is rude and only eats two things. Subway, and Pasta. B|.... She didn't like it because I have a big variety when it comes to my cooking, and I prefer to cook things that are not part of my family's normal home cooked meals.

I can actually. I was really interested in food when I was about 13 so I went of on a limb and just started experimenting. When my father realized I had such a talent for it, he set me up to have a day in a 5 star kitchen and actually cook with the head chef. Well I was really good and for a time I actually wanted to go to cooking school. Although now I am an author...

 

I can cook pretty much anything by hand. I make a great lasagna and Alfredo. I love to cook Salmon with lemon garlic butter smothered with olive oil. Oh and my Fish and Chips are killer! They are hand breaded with a seasoned breading, baked to golden brown perfection and homemade fries deep fried in semi heated oil for an hour They are soooo much better than just a hot deep fry, they have that slow tase with the terragon over them.

yep! <3 my pride and Joy! Lets see what do you want? choco-Roxas Oblive and Snikerdoole Ultima? lol, I also made some cupcake for my firends wedding, and for my cousins feince's Battlorette party. but the kids love these keyblade cookies.

I can cook......noodles, ok, I can cook more than that, but I'm not the best, my family tried to teach me how to do really good cooking, they quit after I burned the food, twice, in two days.......
