MasterXemnas 2,285 Posted January 3, 2011 fool. The US and international dates are getting closer. Maybe next time it will be on the same day.
Sora96 17,256 Posted January 3, 2011 They will not MasterXemnas. North America must always get the game first since the English version is made over there. And it's always a battle between Europe and Australia for the next release. Kingdom Hearts - Europe got it before Australia. Chain of Memories - Australia got it before Europe. Kingdom Hearts II - Australia got it before Europe 358/2 Days - Australia was planned to get it first but for unknown reasons the date was changed allowing Europe to get it before Australia. Birth by Sleep - On the same day. Re:coded will tip the scale, meaning Australia usually gets the Kingdom Hearts games before Europe.

MasterXemnas might be right, and you yourself confirmed it No, my list only contained Europe and Australia saying between Europe and Australia who got the game first BETWEEN EUROPE AND AUSTRALIA. Birth by Sleep was released in North America 7th September with Europe and Australia getting it on the 10th of September. But really though if you count the time zone stuff Australia got Birth by Sleep before Europe due to the fact Australia is about half a day ahead of Europe. Tsunamo 62 Posted January 3, 2011 I'm prettysure this is wrong and we get it on the 14th, just because EB's page says that doesn't necessarily mean it's true. It was announced by Square-Enix themselves that it would hit here on the 14th, via press release IIRC. They pulled this with Birth By Sleep, said it was coming out on the 9th here, then changed it to the 10th a few days before the release date which is a real pain. Hopefully we get lucky anyway and they sell shipments on the 13th, but I'm positive they'll change the release date in a few days. Birth by Sleep - On the same day.Technically speaking though we got it a day or two before them if you take into account time differences.

Yes for and 358/2 Days it was changed from the 8th to the 22nd at the last minute. Well even if it's just EB Games selling it on the 13th I don't care. Since EB Games is where I buy most of my games. Even still we get it before Europe either way, because of time zones. Yeah I know.

Since EB Games is where I buy most of my games. What I was morely getting at is that they probably wont sell it on the 13th because they're usually tight with release dates, and if it has changed it's very unlikely they'll sell it to you. I got really lucky with Birth By Sleep: Special Edition though because I pre-ordered it and they rang me come and pick it up on the 9th, so I guess you just have to try your luck. On a rather off topic note, why EB? I find their prices to be quite hefty compared to alot of other retailers, which is why I usually grab games from Jb-Hi-Fi as theirs are usually cheaper. And the staff at EB always try to get me to trade in my games when I tell them numerous times I'm not interested, they're more of a retailer trying to sell stuff to a clueless customer rather than help them out, but I guess that's just my opinion on them. Even still we get it before Europe either way, because of time zones.Gotta love those timezone differences. Thanks Sora96 now i know how much it will cost and when its on sale here .......... well EB games anyway.EB is saying $58, so it's pretty likely it'll be that or $10 more. The DS is nearing the end of its life, so the prices for the DS games here are a little bit cheaper on launch.

I managed to get FF 12 there though. Maybe its just the state you live? In Victoria and NSW their fine.
Tsunamo 62 Posted January 3, 2011 That's weird, Jb-Hi-Fi reports the 13th aswell. Looks like we will have a repeat of Birth By Sleeps release date then, luckily there's no pre-order bonus at the moment to stop me (or anyone for that matter) from buying my copy at Jb-Hi-Fi instead if EB doesn't sell it on the 13th. I'm over in WA, so it might be. The Eb-Games in Swatson Street over in Melbourne (think that's the name) is pretty nice, and it's three floors too. But over in here alot of 'em aren't that great. Sadly we don't get midnight launches here either due to trading laws in WA. ><

Kinode 3,056 Posted January 3, 2011 Hmm... Interesting. I don't live there, but I'm glad they will get it soon too. it normally comes the same day as on the US in Brazil,
