KH2 Reaction?

What was your reaction to Kingdom Hearts 2 (if you didn't play COM)

My reaction was: Who the heck is that girl???

Is that Sora's brother?

I was amazed at the opening, it was just wonderful and fantastic. But back then I didn't know who Marluxia was when I saw him in that CG opening. It was a really great game, especially when you were fighting the final boss. That was the most epic part of KH I have ever experienced.

KH 2 was the first kh game i ever played instead of saying who the heck is that girl i said who the heck is that kid in the flashback who is the kid in the bed who are you people..

Honestly, when I first saw Roxas I freaked out and jumped to conclusions like," NO, that can not be Sora when he's grow up!!!" I even thought for a sec that it was Sora, but his heart got in a different body and he can't remember. So I was like 1% right on that... no really but oh well

Well I have never played COM so during the opening me and my sister are sitting there with no clue whats going on. But after that when it showed Roxas I didn't know who it was and my sister tried to say it was Sora when he's older (Yeah... No. well she was partially right with him being his Nobody and all. But still no) So my sister sat there playing it, refusing to let me try after she messes up, while we both had no idea who any of these people are. >.

Well the first kh game Iplayed was days and when I played kh2 it seemed normal to me and nothing weird at all,but days the part I got confused is the intro to days and saying what the hell is happening and then when the anhilation of the castle oblivion team I was like "Man I never got to know them for the rest of the game".I was lucky enough to get info from nintendo power's july 2009 edition from page 36(mostly 39).Now I got kh1 and re:com so now I can learn more about kh.

I started with KHII, though I had limited knowledge of KHI and CoM.

It confused me on why the kid in the first part was remembering the main character in the first game, and what happened to that white place. I wondered what happened to the boy with silver hair and the girl they were with.

(I know what was going on now; that was what I thought at the time.)

Thankfully, the first part filled me in with what happened in the first game, so I wasn't too lost when I started playing. Though I didn't know why they didn't remember CO.

But I just went with most of it, since I didn't know what was going on too much.

I'm not really that sure, I didn't see the opening. While I was at summer school, my cousin got to play KH2 all by himself. I had to look it up later, and by then, I had already found out the prior stuff.

why does everyone start the KH series without playing Kingdom Hearts? it isn't hard to do, that way you don't get confused. and i didn't finish CoM before playing KH2 but i used to surf every kingdom hearts website so i wasn't confused at all.

My cousin had bought FF10 and KH1, he gave me KH1 and I beat Oogie boogie then the game stopped working because it had scratches on it so I couldnt play it anymore. After a couple years, christmas 2006 I saw KH2 and bought it. So not finishing KH1, I didn't know who some characters were such as when they had a flashback of Ansem SOD being defeated. So after that I had to watch a walkthrough of COM, then play KH1 after. So pretty much, KH2 got me to where I am now.

I just didn't know who it was. That was the First KH game I ever played (IDK why) when I saw sora, I thought if it was the same guy, just younger. I have no idea why.

Different situations for everyone. We can't all have both a PS2 and a copy of the first game in the series when we decide to get into it. And if we are new to the series, it's likely that we don't know of the existence of fansites for it either.
