both games are designed in a way where you don't see them taking any real risks

Well for Finalf Fantasy as a franchise they both take risks to me- especially 16, and 14 took a lot of risks for the MMO genere but made it standardized

16 and 14 have both the design philosophy that they don't allow people to suck and I don't mean that they are too hard but that they are too easy to the point where even the average player gets bored by it

too easy and almost no complexity

usually you want to achieve a middle ground

a game shouldn't be too hard or too easy
