that first encounter with ultima after the crystal was fantastic. also really liked the two sidequests that happen before you go into the dungeon.

still think the mid boss fights aren't long enough. shit dies within 2 staggers 😦

that's why I told everyone who complained about the final days in endwalker not changing music and skybox to be happy about it

just finished, sitting thru credits now. story was a bit sluggish in the middle and then all the sidequests that flesh out all the side characters are literally shoved at the very end before the last dungeon so the pacing was kinda wack BUT the ending did very well to close things off beautifully imo. dont even know how many times i started tearing up through that

i have no idea what the internet is talking about with the story going KH at the end. it is quite literally the most bread and butter Final Fantasy story I've seen in ages LMFAO

also, one huge thing i want to see carried over to 7r series: THE CGI LOOKING THE SAME AS THE IN GAME MODELS

the cg characters in 7r look SO WEIRD

I think this is coming from people who aren't into FF and thought this was gonna be what it was marketed as, a Game of Thrones type story

It being relegated into a story about this ancient "god" doesn't fit with that

Can't really blame people for that honestly, I wasn't a fan of Ultima either

Ultima wasn't a great character/antagonist BUT it's very much a final fantasy sort of story/character which i was fine with
