they will never do a high budget turn-based FF game, when FF16 outsold persona 5 royal's lifetime sales in a week. So pixel is my only COPIUM

The next game doesn't need to be turn based necessarily but it needs to feel more like an RPG. Items and equipment seem superfluous. Feels like a button masher more than KH lol

Final Fantasy is a household name I fully bet it can still sell amazingly well despite being turn based if they make a mainline game like that

I can sum.up my thoughts like this- the people that say "this isn't FF" that idea to me is stupid.

But. I can understand why people feel that way having played it

Kitase made clear that he absolutely doesn't give a shit about people wanting a specific thing from FF. If newcomers that came with XVI expect another game like XVI they will be disappointed

It IS Final Fantasy, literally and spiritually, but it also changes so much I can see why someone would feel it isn't.
