No items is a bad idea that should be thrown in the garbage with weapon break systems, and FF13-2 and 3.

KH in general has good mechanics. Lots of games have taken from.it, it just doesn't get talked about.

Even 0.2 where you could only use items a certain amount of times, it sucked but felt a little less bullshit.

KH has also the best boss health bars

seperating the health bar into multiple pieces is so smart because it makes the player feel like they do a lot of damage

imagine if the boss health bar in KH would be just one giant bar

it would make you feel like you are doing chip damage

In 0.2 they did this thing where all the items were available when you pressed on items, you couldn't just equip a set number of whichever one you wanted.

In Critical they made it so that certain items could only be used a few times

unreal engine seems to be a blessing for SE

and the 3rd Remake game will apparently have even a shorter gap
