The no item usage is the biggest bs in that mode

You are constantly getting more items because you find them, why are you then still giving it to players

If you want to make it harder then at least restrict its usage rather than block it

Just set up your healer with the full party materia and it's doable

Granted, I think I did mine in a new playthrough, I could not imagine hard mode in a new run
