for my motion sickness yes. But in general no. The performance mode isn't that bad tbh. It's as good as ER's performance mode at worst

I feel like the reactions are a little bit overblown. This shit would have been bad if it drops below 30FPS like Maximilian Dood said in his preview

but the video shows that it runs fine

50 FPS in areas with more NPCs is okay. And it runs way better in the castle area compared to the demo

i feel that but on the opposite spectrum from you lol. I'm fine with the fps jumping from 50 to 60 every so often (especially because that's how i was playing totk lol), but as soon as i turn on graphics mode in the demo and it dips to 30 i start feeling sick especially with how flashy the combat is. for totk i was still okay with playing on the switch itself too but because it was more just exploration than action

people will make fun of it for a day at worst

but a bad performance mode during launch does way more damage than not keeping a promise

if there's no day one patch a better strategy would have been that it gets released at a later date

and graphics mode will run very well. the only issue with graphics mode is the heavy motion blur

but motion blur is way easier to fix than performance mode

you just add a slider and are done

yeah for me that'll still be fine thankfully but it is a shame for others who can't handle the jumping up and down. like i said earlier, for me personally i get more motion sickness from the 30fps in this game haha
