Rabie 1 Posted December 24, 2010 My bombshell wuz totally when Roxas didn't pull out the kingdom key after tossing oblivion to Riku on memory skyscraper in KH 358/2 days, another bombshell wuz in BBS when they completely removed the three keyblades at the crossroads of the keyblade graveyard. Both of those were a powerful moments during the secret endings, with lots of read beneath the lines type of messaging. like how roxas's ability to wield 2 keyblades like sora has to do with Xehanort's memories, and the deeper meaning of the three keyblades at the crossroads, Kingdom Key, Deatheater (often not even considered a keyblade), and the kingdom key D

Princess Kairi 9494 0 Posted December 25, 2010 I think the biggest bombshell for me was when Xion started looking like Sora. As I was watching the cutscene, I was like, "OMGWTFBBQ! ANOTHER PERSON CONNECTED TO SORA!?" I thought it was a rather strange way to show that connection. Then, after the shock set in, I found it a bit funny because Sora had a girl's voice in that cutscene. It was just so weird. but at that point in the game, we already knew that she was connected to sora because she looked like kairi and held the memories of kairi and sora, that's why it took so long for sora to get all of his memories back
Keyblader 325 Posted December 26, 2010 My bombshell wuz totally when Roxas didn't pull out the kingdom key after tossing oblivion to Riku on memory skyscraper in KH 358/2 days, another bombshell wuz in BBS when they completely removed the three keyblades at the crossroads of the keyblade graveyard. Both of those were a powerful moments during the secret endings, with lots of read beneath the lines type of messaging. like how roxas's ability to wield 2 keyblades like sora has to do with Xehanort's memories, and the deeper meaning of the three keyblades at the crossroads, Kingdom Key, Deatheater (often not even considered a keyblade), and the kingdom key D (Correct me if something I say is wrong, I most likely have something wrong. If you are going to correct me, don't do so with out proof, other wise both I and 'you' [whoever the person is who might be correcting me] are at fault, since neither of us will have evidence to prove ourselves. The only reason I don't have anything to back my self up is because I suck at finding information like that.) I'm not entirely sure how to explain the first part. However, in the secret ending, those three Keyblades were symbolic. I'm not entirely sure exactly how they were symbolic. All I know is that Kingdom Key and Kingdom Key D did not exist until the destruction of the X-Blade. That is why King Mickey needed Sora because he wielded the other half of what used to be the X-Blade, King Mickey had the other half. Those two Keyblades were needed to close and open Kingdom Hearts, because that was the basic function of the X-Blade, aside from it's significant power. Also, the third Keyblade was called Way to the Dawn, not Death Eater, and Death Eater is not even the name of a weapon, you mean Soul Eater. But the two are connected. Similar to how Sora regained his Kingdom Key after Riku took it by the Keyblade using Sora's Toy Sword as a base for it's reappearance, Soul Eater acted the in the same way, as a base for Way to the Dawn to be used or something. Also, I don't understand why you think that Xehanort's memories have to do with Sora being able to wield two Keyblades. This has to do with the fact that Sora has Ventus' heart inside of him, but his ability was only awakened upon two things: Roxas taking in Xion, who some how awakened that ability; and then Roxas returning to Sora, and because Roxas had acquired the ability to dual wield, the ability was passed to Sora, but yet with not as much proficiency as Roxas it seems. I apologize for how I said this, I feel I did so rudely. And I don't want to out right say that what I have said is a fact, it, chances are, could be wrong. The emo Ventus moment could've gone byby, and the keyblades there instead. Another fact how the kingdom key and kingdom key D got there if they formed after the destruction of the x-blade. The x-blade must have been formed from them, then split back apart when it was destroyed. At least, that's a theory. didn't think ur post wuz rude tho. And still no reason why roxas didn't take out the kingdom key after throwing oblivion to riku, well technically Xion throwing oblivion to riku.
Reversal 53 Posted January 3, 2011 Long response to Rabie under tag. Tagged for length. My bombshell wuz totally when Roxas didn't pull out the kingdom key after tossing oblivion to Riku on memory skyscraper in KH 358/2 days, Are you implying that Roxas somehow had 3 Keyblades? Because if yes, then I could understand why you were disappointed. another bombshell wuz in BBS when they completely removed the three keyblades at the crossroads of the keyblade graveyard. Another Side, Another Story/Deep Dive and Sunset Horizons/Birth by Sleep were all concept videos. They made it clear from the beginning that not everything we would see there would make it into the final product, if it did so at all. Also, like Keyblader said, those three Keyblades were symbolic. Terra picks up the Kingdom Key and ends up in the Realm of Light. Aqua picks up the Kingdom Key D and ends up in the Realm of Darkness. Ven picks up Way to Dawn and ends up in the Realm of Inbetween. Pretty simple ^^ Both of those were a powerful moments during the secret endings, with lots of read beneath the lines type of messaging. like how roxas's ability to wield 2 keyblades like sora has to do with Xehanort's memories, Uh... no it didn't. Roxas' ability to dual wield was awakened by the pain he felt from Xion's death. The Keyblades he used belong to Ven and Sora. It had absolutely nothing to do with Xehanort. and the deeper meaning of the three keyblades at the crossroads, Kingdom Key, Deatheater (often not even considered a keyblade), and the kingdom key D Well, Keyblader already corrected you on that, so I won't repeat it. omg, sorry to fill half a page... yeah i meant to say soul eater, I thot that wuz what it wuz... anyways, i get the whole way to dawn thing, just WHY DIDN'T IT HAPPEN IN THE GAME. NOJIMA. That's why. Sometimes I dream about what KH2 and Days would've been like had they been written by Watanabe. Would've been great. The emo Ventus moment could've gone byby, and the keyblades there instead. The Keyblades being there would've made no sense, and the "Put and end to me" moment is better suited anyways. Keyblader already explained why both Kingdom Keys could not be there, and Way to Dawn's presence or lack thereof is, well, obvious. It's Riku's one of a kind Keyblade after all. And still no reason why roxas didn't take out the kingdom key after throwing oblivion to riku, well technically Xion throwing oblivion to riku. He only had 2: Ven's, and Sora's. Two hearts, two Keyblades. No more.
