If the keyblade is part of someone's heart if it were to break wouldn't the keyblader have a heart attack or something

Featured Replies

That's a good question. We've never actually seen anyone's Keyblade break, not counting the KH2FM secret ending where Ven's Keyblade broke since it didn't actually happen in BBS.

I don't really think the Keyblade is apart of someone's heart, but is connected to their heart. Take Hollow Bastion in KH. Riku, who's heart is stronger than Sora's at this time, takes the Keyblade away from him. Nothing happened to Sora when that happened, except the fact he couldn't use the Keyblade anymore. And it's not like Riku actually took apart of Sora's heart when that happened either. Same when Sora took it back when his heart grew stronger.

But, the X-Blade was made of Ven's and Vanitas' hearts, and when that was destroyed so was Ven.

Yes, but the X-blade isn't an ordinary Keyblade. The only way to obtain one is with a heart of pure darkness and a heart of pure light.

I don't think the Keyblade is actually part of someone's heart, it's just drawn to strong hearts. Hence, when Sora lost his Keyblade in KH1, he didn't lose his heart at the same time.

The only exception to this is the X-Blade.

yes he lost it but it didnt break

Yes, but it was no longer connected to him. He couldn't take it back until his heart got stronger.
