i think the most likely reason is simply that they thought they could crunch it in time but ended up not being able to. which should suggest an early 2025 release at least

Tbh thats what pissed me off the most firetruck the game i didn't even want the game its the fact that we were promised something and they did not deliver, and did not properly communicate they ALWAYS do this with KH too it pisses me off.
