This is definitely a stretch but Sora facing/battling his dark self, similar to Legend of Zelda OoT with Dark Link

In the start of the encounter, the setting transitions to Sora's station of awakening or even the Final World

It would make more sense with Station of Awakening

But that idea would be pretty damn cool honestly

Since Sora would be conflicting about light and darkness
