you can clean up the world but if they dilute the slavery aspect and not showing it in its true horror as in 16 they are missing the point SE was trying to empathize. They wanted to show you just how horrible it is.

they were not pulling punches in 16

even then (major spoilers for ff16) - they only got away with

child murder|| in ff16 cos ||it cut away from the beatdown of joshua who wasn't in his actual human form at the time, and didn't actually die and got away with dion killing Olivier on screen cos he disintegrated into dust and the kid wasn't even in there anymore consciousness/mind-wise, just a puppet of Ultima

 

KH got away with stabbing in 1 cos no blood and magic light glow at point of impact and technically not actually a death

Because if it did most likely Square Enix would still release the English localization of KHIV, but with the Japanese audio then release the English audio in a later patch

We'd have to be much closer to release with more details given in order to truly start worrying about it.

As it stands, we're probably looking at early 2025 for release, at the earliest.

I’m not so sure about that. The English dub is a big part of the appeal for KH. They always get an all star cast.

Disney would also probably not be cool with a Japanese dub, since it’s a bit against their brand over here
