as for kh maturity, ya it tackles them but its still diluted by KHs setting. FF16 would clash horribly in KH

its setting is way more rooted in reality minus the fantasitcal elements

and its emphasis on slavery and its references to adult themes

No, but you specified 16 as being too mature and adult for KH, so you also have to hold the same critical lens to any other FF games that are mixed with KH, because a lot of FF games have mature and adult themes that are just as much so as in 16.

FF7's characters are KH versions. 16s would have to be to and I don't think they' do that either.
