Disappointed?

Maybe its my imagination, but it seems that Saix is kinda disappointed, I mean, they were friends once.

Yes, he was very dissapointed that Axel has made new friendships with Roxas and Xion. He even states that in 358/2 days. Like in that cutscene when he says "Which would you rather suffer the loss of. Some make-belive friendship, or a real one?" which he was referring to if he would rather care for his former best friend (Saix who used to be named Isa) or just care for people that don't truly exist (which he was referring to Roxas and Xion). And when he says "Does the past mean nothing to you now?" he was also reffering to his friendship with Axel back when they lived in Radient Garden. Saix seemed upset that Axel bonded more with Roxas and Xion than with Saix. But if you read Axel's journal, he did say that Axel used to talk to Saix until Roxas came along.

He was actually referring to Axel's friendship with Xion and Roxas separately by that line. Saix never once saw Xion as a real person, so the make believe friendship was referring to her, and the real one was referring to Roxas. This ties into the connection between Xion and Roxas, in which one gets stronger, and the other gets weaker. It was always either one or the other, never both.

It's true. There are a few scenes in the novels where they act all buddy-buddy (well, as much as Saix is capable of anyways), during their secret meetings in Saix's room when Axel went to persuade him to do stuff.
