The way I see it, it's basically saying Xemnas can wield a Keyblade without actually saying "Xemnas can wield a Keyblade." Pretty much a similar situation like how Eraqus' armor is called Armor of the Master instead of just flat out "Eraqus" or "Eraqus Sentiment."

He's in the Mirage Arena, so he's definitely not canon. Imo, it's just a way of saying that Xemnas can wield a Keyblade without revealing it completely.

That cut-scene is when Aqua is at destiny islands. The reason they are showing it is because their faces got more polygons and facial expressions or something along those lines.

 

Does anyone else see the irony in him sitting on the throne that becomes the chamber of waking? So we have this guy, xemnas on his throne in the final battle, sleeping ven on a throne, and xemnas using the room of repose which holds a throne. I don't even know where I am going with this, just thought I would throw it out there.
